2. Textbook analysis
本课的教学内容是外研社出版的英语教材——《英语》(新标准)第二册(必修2)的第六个模块。本模块以“电影和电视节目”为话题,从学生喜欢的电影、电视入手,介绍了电影、电视节目的类型,帮助学生从背景、情节、角色等方面赏析电影并评论。
本课为第六模块的第一课时(Introduction: vocabulary and speaking), 此部分共设计了三个活动。通过学生问答,两人活动等介绍和呈现与电影有关的英文词汇(教参p.86)。
3. Student analysis
本班共60名学生,男生43,女生17, 年龄多在15-16岁之间。 学生对“电影”这一话题较为熟悉,这为该节课活动的开展提供了有效条件。此外,本班大部分学生比较喜欢英语,并能在课堂上主动参与到课堂活动之中。

Step 1 Lead-in
T (Showing a film ticket): Look at what is in my hand. This is a film ticket. Do you want to have the ticket

Step 2 Learning the new language

Step 3 Talking about the film poster of Harry Potter
Lead-in: Just now, we learned how to talk about the general information about a film. Please open your books at page 51, look at the picture part 1. Let’s look at the film poster and answer the questions.
Work in groups of 2 to ask and answer the questions.

Step 4 Guessing game
Lead-in: Well done! Good job. Now, let’s do a guessing game. Please work in groups of 4. Each member of the group writes down one film name, and then asks your partner the questions to guess what the film is.

Show a film poster of Ye Wen.
Instruct the students to make a summary of different types of film.
3. Explain each type of film with its basic features, or use gestures or film posters.

1. Tell the direction.
T: Perform a dialogue with a partner on cue cards. Speaker A looks at Card A and Speaker B looks at Card B. Then, with your partner make up your own prompts to be used on cue cards.
