China is a very big country. There are many different kinds of weather all over the country. In some places the weather is very cold in winter. The temperature in Shenyang（沈阳） can be -40℃ in winter. In Beijing winter lasts from December to March. It’s dry and there is heavy snow. But in Guangzhou winter is short and cool. It sometimes rains. In the middle of China, summer is long, hot and wet. In Wuhan（武汉） it’s often hot from April to October. There is much rain in summer. But Urumqi（乌鲁木齐） becomes very hot and dry in summer. Turpan（吐鲁番） is sometimes 47℃ in summer.
