Spain, and Italy. They went to Africa and
Asia. They were the first Europeans to
come to America.
The trip to America was slow and
had several stops along the way.

Students’ Book Review
My Tuesdays with Morrie
1402 Bai Di
An old man, a young man, and life’s greatest lesson.
It goes back to 3 months ago when I first took up this book as a task to finish, Fretted by large quantities of unknown words, I struggled along, thought overwhelmed by the vocabulary.
However, one day things became more than usual.
It all started on the 15th page. The tension of opposites caught my eyes. One thing you want to do is always replaced by something else. It seemed dead right .But when there came “love wins .Love always wins.” I mulled for a while in great surprise. How could love, which is soft as the flowing water, win the wrestling match of life
Meanwhile, I saw Morrie whose face was lit with a warm smile. And that was the beginning of my lessons.
Once Morrie, the over-60-year-old man, cried owing to the mention of his mother’s death years ago. Tears streamed down his cheeks and he began to choke up .That was pretty strange as almost everyone gradually tries to hide his tears as he grows up, except Morrie. I was put into a deep thought about why we chose to let various emotions accumulate and then sour instead of venting it. Why not allow tears to fly
Lost in homework and grades, I have ignored the importance of love totally. Nevertheless, Morrie has found it for me, carefully whisked away the dust on the surface and then put it in my hand solemnly. ”Love each other or perish.” Without love, we’re birds with broken wings.
Although at first I have known that the final result of the story is Morrie’s death, I still suffer from the pain caused by this piece of news. So precious is this book that I’ll treasure it forever. Whenever my fingers touch the yellowed pages, Morrie appears in front of me, sitting in golden sunshine without the oxygen machine or the plastic tubing around him, smiling with open arms, waiting for a hug.
