大家好!
我今天讲述的是高中英语模块二第四单元阅读部分。这篇阅读文章描述了戴西在梦中经历的一次奇妙的飞毯旅行。通过戴西和藏羚羊,非洲象和猴子的对话,学生进一步意识到野生动物的生存环境日益恶化以及保护野生动物的行动刻不容缓。
本节课以How Daisy Learned to Help Wildlife 这篇阅读材料为载体,着力提高学生的阅读能力和阅读技巧,帮助她们进一步了解濒危动物的处境,并激发他们深入思考,积极采取行动保护野生动物,从而形成与大自然和谐相处,共创和谐家园,和谐社会的意识。
这节课我采用了动机激发,讨论,跳读,查读,合作学习等教学方式。
在动机激发过程中,我先向学生展示了一些濒危动物的图片让他们进行辨认,目的就是让他们在观看图片的同时,受到某种刺激,对将要学习的内容产生需求的欲望,进而形成学习的动机。同时也为下一步讨论奠定了基础,在讨论阶段让学生围绕一个话题展开:这些野生动物为什么濒临灭绝?这样做的目的是让教学在学生彼此质疑,共同思考中展开,让学生的学习在彼此交流,相互促进中深入。而且也帮助学生预测了课文内容,把握了学习的方向。
跳读部分只设计了三个简单的问题,目的是检查学生对文章的整体把握和大致了解。在接下来的查读过程中,我着力培养学生对段落大意的理解和归纳,同时引导他们重视细节内容。并在此基础上进一步深化文章的主题思想,不失时机的对学生进行野生动物保护的教育。
对课文的最后的总结是对本节课教学效果的一个检测,在此过程中学生可以将所学的内容进行重组从而形成完整的知识体系,并通过体验交流不断的增强创新实践能力。
在学生对文章整体把握和全面了解的基础上,我认为阅读之后的讨论对他们至关重要,这一方面能够帮助他们消化知识,提高理解和表达能力,将其内化为自身素质;另一方面能够引导他们凸现主体,张扬个性,加强合作,培养活泼自信的品格和团结合作的精神。更重要的是,这对学生思想境界的迅速提升也有有着重大的意义。
