I

For

rats
there.
W:
So
what
did

M:
We
found
the

greatly
reduced
the

birds.
And
the
smaller
number

birds
affected
the
local
ecosystems.
W:
I
guess
the
rats
were
brought
there
from
somewhere
else.
M:
You're
right.
They
were
introduced

fifty

Now
efforts
are
being
made
to
reduce
their
number.
W:
I

the
efforts
will
work.

【原文】M:
Good
evening,
everyone.
It's
World
Time
again.
In
today's
program,
let's
learn
how
people
in
French-speaking
countries
greet.
In
most
French-speaking
countries,
it's
considered
good
manners
to
greet
everyone.
So,
whether
you're
speaking
to
a
clerk,
a
waiter,
or
just
knocking
into
someone
on
the
street,
take
the
time
to
say
a
polite
"good
morning"
in
French
before
you
do
anything
else.
Cheek
kissing
is
another
common
type
of
greeting
in
most
French-speaking
countries.
However,
the
rules
for
cheek
kisses
can
be
a
complex
thing.
The
rules
change
depending
on
the
country
you're
in.
For
example,
in
Belgium,
it's
normal
to
greet
everyone
of
your
age
or
younger
with
one
kiss,
but
anyone
that's
a
generation
or
much
older
than
you
should
be
given
three
kisses
(right
cheek,
left,
and
then
right
again).
In
Paris,
most
people
stick
to
a
four-kiss
rule,
but
in
most
of
the
rest
of
France
two
kisses
are
the
normal.
That's
all
for
today's
program.
What
comes
next
are
some
commercials.
After
them
some
French
songs
will
be
played.
Have
a
good
time
listening
to
them.

For
eight
years,
Alex
Honnold
dreamed
about
climbing
EI
Capitan
in
Yosemite
National
Park
without
any
safety
equipment.
Last
Saturday
Honnold,
a
world-class
rock
climber,
reached
the
top
of
the
great
rock
wall
only
with
his
hands
and
feet.
He
is
the
first
person
ever
to
climb
the
914-meter-high
rock
wall
alone
and
without
ropes
or
safety
equipment.
“I
was
pretty
much
excited,”
Honnold
said.
“I
was
probably
the
happiest.
It’s
something
that
I
thought
about
for
so
long
and
dreamed
about
and
worked
hard
for.”
Honnold
began
preparing
for
his
historic
climb
two
years
ago.
He
climbed
EI
Capitan
while
wearing
safety
equipment
countless
times.
He
tried
to
memorize
every
hole
he
had
to
hold
and
the
positions
of
his
body.
He
repeated
the
climb
again
and
again,
until
he
felt
sure
enough
to
try
the
so-called
“free
solo”
climb.
The
most
difficult
part
of
the
trip
is
about
70.
0.
meters
off
the
ground.
At
that
point,
the
very
small
holds
in
the
rock
are
only
big
enough
for
a
thumb(拇指)
to
fit.
“Each
year
I
would
show
up
and
it
would
seem
just
much
too
frightening,”
he
said.
“I
walk
up
to
the
base
of
the
climb
without
any
ropes,
it
just
feels
a
little
crazy.
Going
over
that
side
of
it
was
the
hardest
part.”
Observers
say
Honnold’s
climb
has
pushed
the
limits
in
a
sport
that
requires
a
high
level
of
physical
ability,
risk-taking
and
mental
strength.
“This
has
never
been
done
before
and
it’s
hard
to
imagine
anybody
ever
coming
to
what
he’s
done,”
Daune
said.
“He
is
totally
alone
at
the
top
of
his
game.
To
climb
without
ropes
in
that
areana(竞技场)
requires
great
self-control
and
focus.”
24.
How
did
Honnold
feel
before
he
started
to
climb?
A.
Excited.
B.
Scared.
C.

Traffic
jams
are
the
horrible
dreams
of
motorists’
lives.
If
you
think
your
journey
is
bad,
spare
a
thought
for
drivers
in
Sao
Paolo,
Brazil
—
one
evening
in
May
last
year,
the
traffic
jams
during
the
rush
hour
added
up
to
a
344km
queue,
according
to
the
city's
traffic
management
agency.
This
isn't
a
new
problem,
of
course.
During
the
car
boom
of
the
1960s,
city
planners
had
one
seemingly
obvious
solution:
build
more
and
wider
roads.
But
the
more
roads
created,
the
more
cars
they
attracted.
So
what's
the
solution?
Some
cities
have
adopted
easy
methods,
like
banning
cars
from
driving
on
certain
days.
However,
ending
this
horrible
dream
may
need
more
of
a
complete
rethink.
A
company,
Urban
Engines,
has
a
slightly
fresher
method.
"We're
providing
an
online
game
that
offers
trip
suggestions
and
prizes
to
encourage
commuter
behaviour
changes,
including
changing
travel
from
peak
to
off-peak
times,“
says
Shiva
Shivakumar,
Urban
Engines'
co-founder
and
GEO.
For
the
past
two-and-a-half
years,
the
company
has
conducted
pilot
studies
in
major
cities,
including
Bangalore
and
Singapore.
In
Bangalore,
one-in-six
people
who
took
part
in
the
trial
started
travelling
off-peak,
and
in
Singapore
one-in-eight.
But
others
think
this
solution
doesn't
go
far
enough—and
that
we
should
provide
more
reasons
for
putting
fewer
cars
on
the
road.
“The
only
effective
long-term
solution
is
to
improve
alternative
methods—walking,
cycling
and
particularly
high-quality
public
transport,”
says
Todd
Litman
of
the
Victoria
Transport
Policy
Institute
in
Canada.
Road
pricing
that
charges
motorists
extra
if
they
drive
during
the
rush
hour
could
also
be
an
option.
Cities
like
Singapore,
London
and
Stockholm
have
successfully
used
road
pricing
to
control
the
steel
river.
The
solution
to
beating
traffic
jams
in
cities,
if
it
comes,
will
probably
take
a
long
time
to
gain
prizes.
But
if
at
least
some
of
these
new
ideas
are
a
success,
the
days
of
Sao
Paolo's
heavy
traffic
jams
may
finally
become
history.
32.
What
can
we
learn
about
the
method
of
building
wider
roads?
A.
It
results
in
the
car
boom.
B.
It
is
far
from
satisfactory.
C.
It
needs
to
be
further
tested.
D.
It
is
unlikely
to
be
widely
used.
33.
What
does
Urban
Engines
do
to
deal
with
traffic
jams?
A.
It
charges
commuters
for
travelling
at

times.
B.
It
changes
its
working
time
to
avoid
peak
times.
C.
It

D.

根据下文“I
thought
I
would
find
where
flour
was
displayed
(陈列)
(但我想我能找到面粉陈列的地方)”可知,此处与下文构成转折让步的关系,内容与直到自己的中文水平有限有关,选项D“Although
I
knew
my
Chinese
skills
were
limited
(虽然我知道我的中文水平有限)”符合题意。故选D。
【37题详解】
根据上文“Just
then,
I
saw
one
of
my
students
leaving
the
store.
I
ran
to
him
and
asked,
“How
do
you
say
‘flour’?”(就在那时,我看到我的一个学生离开商店。我跑过去问他:“‘flour’怎么说?”)”可知,此处内容与学生告诉作者“flour”在中文里的发音有关,选项C的代词He指的是上文的one
of
my
students,因此选项C“He
told
me
effortlessly
that
the
word
was
“hua”(他毫不费力地告诉我,是“hua(花)”)”符合题意。故选C。
【38题详解】
根据上文“Finally,
I
thought
to
myself,
“I’m
going
to
be
able
to
make
bread.”(最后,我对自己说:“我可以做面包了。”)”和下文“when
the
woman,
pointed
to
some
red
roses
(当那个女人指着一些红玫瑰的时候)”可知,此处表示转折,内容与作者找到面粉做包子的希望破灭了有关,选项B“However,
my
hope
ended
rather
quickly
(然而,我的希望很快就破灭了)”符合题意。故选B。
【39题详解】
根据上文“At
first
I
was
confused,
but
suddenly
it
all
made
sense.
(一开始我很困惑,但突然间一切都有了意义)”和下文“
When
I
asked
my
student
for
the
Chinese
word
for
“flour”
,
I
did
not
specify(详细说明)
whether
I
meant
“flour”
or
“flower”.
(当我问我的学生“flour”的中文单词时,我没有详细说明我是指“面粉”还是“花”)”可知,此处内容与作者站在花架前而不是面粉架前有关,选项F“I
was
standing
in
front
of
the
flower
display,
not
the
flour
display
(我是站在花架前,不是面粉架)”符合题意。故选F。
【40题详解】
根据上文“I
did
not
buy
any
roses
that
night.
(那天晚上我没有买玫瑰)”和下文“My
very
limited
knowledge
of
Chinese
caused
me
to
go
home
empty-handed.
(我有限的中文知识使我空手而归)”可知,此处内容与作者没有买到面粉有关,选项A“I
was
not
able
to
find
the
flour
either
(我也没能找到面粉)”符合题意。故选A。

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了缅甸商人Mike
Than购买废弃的共享单车,再把这些自行车改装后送给农村的贫困学生,让他们骑车上学的事情。
【61题详解】
考查介词。句意:去年,当共享单车公司oBike退出新加坡,留下一片废弃的自行车时,缅甸商人Mike
Than看到了变废为宝的绝佳机会。结合句意表示“退出”可知短语为pull
out
of。故填out。
【62题详解】
考查动词时态。句意:去年,当共享单车公司oBike退出新加坡,留下一片废弃的自行车时,缅甸商人Mike
Than看到了变废为宝的绝佳机会。根据上文last
year可知应用一般过去时。故填saw。
【63题详解】
考查动词语态。句意:他想:“如果把这些自行车发给农村的贫困学生,让他们骑车上学,会怎么样?”此处主语bicycles与谓语动词give构成被动关系,且could后跟动词原形。故填be
given。
【64题详解】
考查定语从句。句意:于是,他发起了一项名为“少走”的运动,目的是从共享单车公司oBike和Ofo——这两家公司已停止在新加坡运营——那里购买自行车,然后将自行车运到仰光。此处为非限制性定语从句修饰先行词bike-sharing
firms
oBike
and
Ofo,先行词在从句中作主语,指物,故应用关系代词which引导。that不能引导非限制性定语从句。故填which。
【65题详解】
考查非谓语动词。句意:他计划先对这些自行车进行改造,然后再把它们送给农村的青少年和家庭。分析句子结构可知live在句中应用非谓语动词形式,与逻辑主语teenagers
and
families构成主动关系,故应用现在分词作定语。故填living。
【66题详解】
考查动词时态。句意:在过去的三个月里,Than买了10000辆自行车。根据上文“Over
the
last
three
months”可知应用现在完成时,主语为Than,助动词用has。故填has
bought。
【67题详解】
考查比较级。句意:他计划对自行车进行改造,使其能更好地适合农村儿童的需要。结合句意表示“更好地”应用well的比较级better。故填better。
【68题详解】
考查名词的数。句意:他计划对自行车进行改造,使其能更好地适合农村儿童的需要。child为可数名词,根据后文in
villages可知数量大于一应用复数形式。故填children。
【69题详解】
考查冠词。句意:我打算在后面增加一个座位,这样他们就可以一起上学了。seat为可数名词,此处表泛指应用不定冠词,且extra是发音以元音音素开头的单词,应用an。故填an。
【70题详解】
考查名词。句意:我可能不得不花更多的钱,但它是更好的帮助一些人享受这些自行车的便利,而不是任由它们浪费。空处作宾语,表示“便利”应填名词convenience,表抽象概念不可数。故填convenience。

For
eight
years,
Alex
Honnold
dreamed
about
climbing
EI
Capitan
in
Yosemite
National
Park
without
any
safety
equipment.
Last
Saturday,
Honnold,
a
world-class
rock
climber,
reached
the
top
of
the
great
rock
wall
only
with
his
hands
and
feet.
He
is
the
first
person
ever
to
climb
the
914-meter-high
rock
wall
alone
and
without
ropes
or
safety
equipment.
“I
was
pretty
much
excited,”
Honnold
said.
“I
was
probably
the
happiest.
It’s
something
that
I
thought
about
for
so
long
and
dreamed
about
and
worked
hard
for.”
Honnold
began
preparing
for
his
historic
climb
two
years
ago.
He
climbed
EI
Capitan
while
wearing
safety
equipment
countless
times.
He
tried
to
memorize
every
hole
he
had
to
hold
and
the
positions
of
his
body.
He
repeated
the
climb
again
and
again,
until
he
felt
sure
enough
to
try
the
so-called
“free
solo”
climb.
The
most
difficult
part
of
the
trip
is
about
70.
0.
meters
off
the
ground.
At
that
point,
the
very
small
holds
in
the
rock
are
only
big
enough
for
a
thumb(拇指)
to
fit.
“Each
year
I
would
show
up
and
it
would
seem
just
much
too
frightening,”
he
said.
“I
walk
up
to
the
base
of
the
climb
without
any
ropes,
it
just
feels
a
little
crazy.
Going
over
that
side
of
it
was
the
hardest
part.”
Observers
say
Honnold’s
climb
has
pushed
the
limits
in
a
sport
that
requires
a
high
level
of
physical
ability,
risk-taking
and
mental
strength.
“This
has
never
been
done
before
and
it’s
hard
to
imagine
anybody
ever
coming
to
what
he’s
done,”
Daune
said.
“He
is
totally
alone
at
the
top
of
his
game.
To
climb
without
ropes
in
that
areana(竞技场)
requires
great
self-control
and
focus.”
24.
How
did
Honnold
feel
before
he
started
to
climb?
A.
Excited.
B.
Scared.
C.
Happy.
D.
Crazy.
25.
What
did
Honnold
do
before
he
climbed
without
ropes?
A.
He
got
the
safety
equipment
ready.
B
He
kept
his
boy
in
a
proper
position.
C.
He
tried
to
remember
how
he
climbed
in
the
past.
D.
He
made
enough
holes
on
the
walls
of
the
high
rock.
26.
What
can
be
inferred
about
Honnold?
A.
His
climb
was
mentally
and
physically
difficult.
B.
He
was
lucky
to
excape
from
being
injured
many
times.
C.
It
was
almost
impossible
for
him
to
complete
the
climb.
D.
He
was
able
to
break
away
from
his
fright
at
the
last
moment.
27.
What
does
Daune
think
of
Honnold?
A.
He
should
be
self-controlled.
B.
He
focuses
on
mountain
climbing.
C.
He’s
done
no
better
than
others.
D.
He
is
worth
admiring.

If
you've
been
dreaming
of
having
an
electric
car,
but
can't
yet
afford
to
buy
one,
you
can
start
at
a
low
price,
really
low.
Changli,
the
world's
cheapest
electric
car,
can
be
ordered
online
and
sent
to
your

for
just
$
930.
Designed

Changzhou

Car

Changli,
and
Changli
Nemeca
is
a
small
electric
car
that
has
got
lots
of
attention
online
after
being
advertised
as
the
world's
most
affordable
electric
car.
Calling
this
thing
a
car
is
kind
of
stretching
it
a
bit,
as
its
electric
motor
can
only
produce
1.16
horsepower,
and
it
has
a
top
speed
of
only
30.
km/h.
Still,
it
does
come
with
some
interesting
features,
like
air-conditioning,
independent
suspension,
heater,
radio
and
even
reverse-view
camera.
But
the
most
impressive
thing
about
Changli
in
my
opinion,
is
that
you
can
have
it
sent
to
your
doorstep.
Anyone
who
can
just
order
Changli
Nemeca
online
can
have
it
mailed
to
them
without
having
to
pay
extra
money
to
the
dealership.
Changli
measures
2.5
meters
long,
1.5
meter
wide,
and
1.8
meters
high,
weighs
323
kilograms
and
can
carry
up
to
30
kilograms.
The
two-seat
version
starts
at
$
930($
1,200
with
larger
batteries),
but
you
can
choose
a
three-seat
version
as
well,
which
will
cost
you
$
1,50.
The
battery
of
the
small
electric
car
is
between
40
and
10
kilometers
per
charge
and
the
batteries
take
between
7
and
10
hours
to
charge.
While
Changli
Nemeca
won't
be
going
head
to
head
with
other
electric
cars
anytime
soon
it's
still

Traffic
jams
are
the
horrible
dreams
of
motorists’
lives.
If
you
think
your
journey
is
bad,
spare
a
thought
for
drivers
in
Sao
Paolo,
Brazil
—
one
evening
in
May
last
year,
the
traffic
jams
during
the
rush
hour
added
up
to
a
344km
queue,
according
to
the
city's
traffic
management
agency.
This
isn't
a
new
problem,
of
course.
During
the
car
boom
of
the
1960s,
city
planners
had
one
seemingly
obvious
solution:
build
more
and
wider
roads.
But
the
more
roads
created,
the
more
cars
they
attracted.
So
what's
the
solution?
Some
cities
have
adopted
easy
methods,
like
banning
cars
from
driving
on
certain
days.
However,
ending
this
horrible
dream
may
need
more
of
a
complete
rethink.
A
company,
Urban
Engines,
has
a
slightly
fresher
method.
"We're
providing
an
online
game
that
offers
trip
suggestions
and
prizes
to
encourage
commuter
behaviour
changes,
including
changing
travel
from
peak
to
off-peak
times,“
says
Shiva
Shivakumar,
Urban
Engines'
co-founder
and
GEO.
For
the
past
two-and-a-half
years,
the
company
has
conducted
pilot
studies
in
major
cities,
including
Bangalore
and
Singapore.
In
Bangalore,
one-in-six
people
who
took
part
in
the
trial
started
travelling
off-peak,
and
in
Singapore
one-in-eight.
But
others
think
this
solution
doesn't
go
far
enough—and
that
we
should
provide
more
reasons
for
putting
fewer
cars
on
the
road.
“The
only
effective
long-term
solution
is
to
improve
alternative
methods—walking,
cycling
and
particularly
high-quality
public
transport,”
says
Todd
Litman
of
the
Victoria
Transport
Policy
Institute
in
Canada.
Road
pricing
that
charges
motorists
extra
if
they
drive
during
the
rush
hour
could
also
be
an
option.
Cities
like
Singapore,
London
and
Stockholm
have
successfully
used
road
pricing
to
control
the
steel
river.
The
solution
to
beating
traffic
jams
in
cities,
if
it
comes,
will
probably
take
a
long
time
to
gain
prizes.
But
if
at
least
some
of
these
new
ideas
are
a
success,
the
days
of
Sao
Paolo's
heavy
traffic
jams
may
finally
become
history.
32.
What
can
we
learn
about
the
method
of
building
wider
roads?
A.
It
results
in
the
car
boom.
B.
It
is
far
from
satisfactory.
C.
It
needs
to
be
further
tested.
D.
It
is
unlikely
to
be
widely
used.
33.
What
does
Urban
Engines
do
to
deal
with
traffic
jams?
A.
It
charges
commuters
for
travelling
at
peak
times.
B.
It
changes
its
working
time
to
avoid
peak
times.
C.
It
bans
commuters
from
driving
on
certain
days.
D.
It
offers
prizes
to
those
travelling
at
off-peak
times.
34.
What
does
the
underlined
part
“the
steel
river”
in
Paragraph
4
refer
to?
A.
The
traffic
flow.
B.
The
traffic
light.
C.
The
public
transport.
D.
The
crowd
of
people.
35.
What
can
be
the
best
title
for
the

A.

Last

I
accepted
an
overseas
job
in
a
small
town
of
China
as
an
English
teacher.
I
had
been
there
for
only
a
few
days,
and
I
was
already
feeling
homesick.
For
some
reason,
I
had
an
urge

to
make
some
fresh
bread,
so
I
decided
to
go
to
the
store
to
buy
some
flour.
____36____
,
I
thought
I
would
find
where
flour
was
displayed
(陈列).
The
small
town
where
I
lived
had
one
tiny
store.
I
walked
around
the
store
a
few
times,
but
I
did
not
see
a
bag
of
anything
that
appeared
to
be
flour.
I
wanted
to
ask
one
of
the
three
saleswomen
where
the
flour
was,
but
I
did
not
know
the
word
for
“flour.”
Just
then,
I
saw
one
of
my
students
leaving
the
store.
I
ran
to
him
and
asked,
“How
do
you
say
‘flour’?”
____37____.
I
ran
back
into
the
store
and
found
one
of
the
saleswomen
and
asked
in
Chinese,
“Ni

The
woman
moved
as
quickly
as
she
could
to
the

side
of
the
store.
Finally,
I
thought
to
myself,
“I’m

bread.”
____38____
when
the
woman,
pointed
to
some
red
roses.
At
first
I
was
confused,
but
suddenly
it
all
made
sense.
____39____
When
I

my
student
for
the
Chinese
word
for
“flour”,
I
did
not
specify
(详细说明)
whether
I
meant
“flour”
or
“flower”.
I
did
not
buy
any
roses
that
night.
____40____.
My

of
Chinese
caused
me
to

empty-handed.
However,
I

the

B.

I

F.
I
