much
1.how
many用来修饰可数名词的复数，它的句式是:How
many+复数名词+一般疑问句＋?

2.how
much用来修饰不可数名词，表示数量，也可单独使用。
(1)
用来询问事物的数量，后接不可数名词。
Eg:

用来询问事物的重量。

四个词组都有“许多，大量”的意思。plenty
