一,将来进行时的构成
1.肯定句:
主语+shall/will +be doing +其他
1) The president will be visiting us next week.
2) Hurry up! The guests will be arriving at any minute!
3) We shall be landing in Paris in sixteen minutes.
2 否定句:
主语+shall/will + not + be doing +其他
1)The train won`t be leaving until one o`clock.
2) Anyhow, you shan`t be playing for the next few Saturdays.
Future continuous
将来进行时表示在将来某一时间正在进行的动作或者预计会发生的事情。
3 将来进行时的一般疑问句
Shall/Will +主语+be+doing +其他
1)---Shall we be remaining in the city?
---Yes, we shall(be remaining in the city).
2) ---Will they be coming this way?
---No, they won`t (be coming this way).
4 将来进行时的特殊疑问句
特殊疑问词+shall/will+主语+be doing +其他?
Who will be looking after Joe?
When will you be visiting us again?
二,将来进行时的用法
将来进行时表示将来某一时刻或某一阶段内将要发生的动作, 一般只用于动态动词, 不能用于静态动词。
1)He will be working in Geneva during the summer vacation.
2)We`ll be waiting for you at the gate.
3)We`ll be using this book next term.
将来进行时表示将来某一段时间内持续发生的动作。
Tom will cut grass tomorrow.
Tom will be cutting grass tomorrow.
归纳:将来进行时通常表示的是对将来事实的简单陈述;
而一般将来时除表示时间概念外,还带有感彩。
1 Jane can`t attend the meeting at 3 o`clock this afternoon because she ____________________ (teach) a class at that time.
