A. 感官动词look, sound, smell, taste, feel后面跟形容词作表语; B. 也可以加like, 表示“看上去/听起来/闻起来/尝起来/摸起来像…”； C. 该类系动词与be不同，其否定形式和疑问形式的构成要加助动词。

该句是一个多重复合句，主句为I hope，后接宾语从句，省略了引导词that，从句中含有when引导的时间状语从句，意为“当……时候”。
