types

music
for

dogs
were
listening,researchers

note
of
their
heart
rates,cortisol

turns
out
that
dogs
are
fans
of
Bob
Marley,just
like
we

beach
vacations,as
results
showed
that
dogs
were
less
stressed
while
listening
to

rock

reggae.When
they
were
listening
to
Motown,their
stress
levels
were
higher.
Based
on
the
results
of
the
study,researchers
believe
that
dog
owners
can
play
reggae
or
soft
rock
music
for
their
dogs
during
high
stress
situations.For
dogs
entering
a
shelter
for
the
first
time,the
new
surroundings
will
make
them
horrified,causing
them
to
bark
or
shake,and
dogs
living
at
home
can
be
fearful
of
loud
noises
when
their
owners
leave.
This
study
discovered
shelter
dogs
listening
to
classical
music
were
more
relaxed,barking
less
and
lying
down
more.Unfortunately,the
study
also
found
that
by
the
seventh
day
of
listening
to
classical
music,the
dogs
returned
to
restlessness.This
led
the
researchers
to
believe
that
“the
animals
were
getting
used
to
the
music,or
possibly
getting
bored.”

try

the
