设计理念
本课的设计以“学生为中心”,从学生自身的成长经历、成长过程中的小故事和认知发展水平出发,通过亲身感知,积极体验、实践、感悟、探索、合作等学习方式,在培养学生语言能力的同时发展他们思维品质,培养学生的核心素养。本课从Miss Wu和孩子们在教室里聊天,邀请大家谈论各自的成长过程中的小故事出发,情境化地呈现了本课的重点词汇。
教材分析
本单元内容是人教版(一年级起点)《英语》五年级下册Unit6 Growing Up. 本单元的单元话题为成长,主要通过目标词汇,来描述自己成长过程中的一些小故事。Get Ready 插图通过Miss Wu和孩子们在教室里聊天的场景,情境化地呈现了本课的目标词汇was born ,started to speak ,15th,learned to walk, learned to ride a bike , learned to swim, went to kindergarten, went to school等等。本课的A项活动通过听音连线,再次输入本课的目标词汇,加深了学生对于目标单词的印象并深入学习。 B项通过对话活动,练习目标词汇。C项让学生根据B项对话的结果,简单描述自己的成长故事,并能根据语境选择恰当的词语填空。

学情分析
五年级的孩子已经具备一定的英语学习基础,而且此课的课题与孩子们的日常生活息息相关,学生可结合自己成长的照片,大大提高了他们学习英语的热情。该年级的学生已经能够听懂、会说很多英语单词了,阅读方面,他们也能读懂小短文或小故事的大意,而且能比较流利地朗读它。在写的方面,能模仿范例或借助提示,写出几句意义连贯的话。
教学目标

1.通过读图与猜图活动,引导学生的思维发散能力,加强学生的读图能力。
2. 通过观看视频和听音进行提问,引导学生对情境图进行深层的挖掘,帮助学生更进一步理解情景,加强学生的观察能力与阅读能力。
3.听音之前,先让学生进行读图,挖掘图片的信息,既可以培养学生的读图思考能力,又可为后面的听音连线降低难度做好铺垫。
核对答案时,鼓励学生完整地说出答案,并对目标词汇以及重点句型进行复述和朗读,再次加深对目标词汇的理解和记忆。
