【重点释疑】“When’s … birthday?” 及其答句“It’s on the ... of ...”是用来询问和回答某人生日在什么时候的常用句式。回答时要注意on后面跟具体的某一天,如果后面跟的是月份则用in。

【重点释疑】表示顺序的数词叫序数词。序数词是由基数词变化而来的。下面的口诀可以帮助我们记住序数词的变化规律:
基变序,有规律,词尾加上th;
一二三,特殊记,词尾是st、nd和rd（one→first; two→second; three→third）;
八减t,九去e,ve要用f替（eight→eighth; nine→ninth; five→fifth; twelve→twelfth）;
ty将y变ie,词尾再加th（twenty→twentieth; thirty→thirtieth）;
若是遇到几十几,前用基来后用序（twenty-one→twenty-first; thirty-two→thirty-second）。
