辨析 above, over, on
这三个词作介词表示位置时，都表示“在……之上”
above 可指“在……斜上方”，既不接触，又不一定垂直，只是位置“高于……”
The plane is flying above the clouds.
飞机在云层上方飞行。
over 常可与above互换，它着重指垂直在上，且不接触。
over还可以表示“盖在……上面，铺在……上面”，用做此意是不能与above互换
There is a picture over/above the blackboard.
黑板上方有一幅画。
Spread the tablecloth over the table, please.
请把桌布铺在桌子上。
4）on 含有和表面接触的意思。
The book is on the desk.
书在桌子上。
most of …
……中的大多数，其后接表示复数意义的名词、代词等。当后面接名词时，这个名词必须要有名词所有格或冠词修饰，表示部分与整体之间的关系。

as 做连词，表示“当……的时候”用于引导一个时间状语从句。
1). 表示“当……的时候”，相当于when。
He came up as I was speaking. 我正说话的时候，他来了。
As he was walking in the park, he heard a cry for help.
当他在公园散步的时候，他听到呼救的声音。
2). 表示“一边……，一边……”
She sings as she goes along. 她边走边唱。
The girls danced as they sang. 那些女孩边唱边跳。
4. take + 交通工具 + to + 地点 表示“乘坐……去某地”，指去某地的方式
I want to take a taxi back to school. 我想打车回学校。
