at the age of … = when sb. was / were … 意为 “……岁时”。如：When he was four ,Kangkang could play the piano . =Kangkang could play the piano at the age of four .康康4岁时就会弹钢琴。
（2）She couldn’t see anything any more .她再也看不到任何东西了。
anything 是不定代词，意为“任何事（物），无论何事（物）。通常用于否定句和疑问句中，代替 something 如：Is there anything wrong with your bike 你的自行车出毛病了？
（3）Life was hard for her .生活对她来说非常艰难。
be hard for sb. =be difficult for sb. 意为“对于某人是困难的或对于某人很不容易。如：I can’t play the guitar ,it’s too hard for me .我不会弹吉他，它对我来说太难了。

with one’s help =with the help of sb. 意为“在某人的帮助下”如：With the help of Mr.Lee ,I can sing English songs .=With Mr.Lee’s help , I can sing English songs .在李老师的帮助下，我会唱英文歌曲了。With his help ,I can swim .=With the help of him ,I can swim .
