B
So
many
things
can
keep
you
from
seeing
your
loved
ones
in
person.
Fortunately,
thanks
to
modern
technology,
the
people
we
miss
are
often
only
a
phone
call
or
text
message
away.
But
according
to
science,
if
you
want
to
feel
more
connected
to
the
people
you're
talking
to,
you
should
call
them
instead
of
texting.
A
new
study,
published
in
the
Journal
of
Experimental
Psychology,
found
that
communication
interactions
that
included
voice
created
stronger
social
relationships
than
communication
through
typing.
In
the
study,
researchers
conducted
various
experiments.
In
the
first
one,
they
asked
200
people
to
make
predictions
about
what
it'd
be
like
to
reconnect
with
an
old
friend
by
email
or
by
phone
and
then
assigned
people
at
random
to
do
one
or
the
other.
Although
people
expected
that
a
phone
call
would
be
more
awkward(尴尬的),
hearing
someone's
voice
actually
made
the
experience
better.
“People
reported
they
did
form
a
significantly
stronger
bond
with
their
old
friend
on
the
phone
versus
(与……相比)
email,
and
they
didn't
feel
more
awkward,”
said
study
co-author
Amit
Kumar.
In
another
experiment,
the
researchers
had
strangers
connect
by
either
texting,
talking
over
video
chat,
or
talking
using
only
audio
(音频).
They
found
that
both
forms
of
voice
communication
made
the
strangers
feel
much
more
connected
than
when
they
communicated
via
text.
Sabrina
Romanoff,
a
Harvard
trained
clinical
psychologist
based
in
New
York
City,
says
people
tend
to
text
or
email
instead
of
calling
because
of
convenience
as
they
see
it
as
a
controlled
form
of
communication
where
they
can
“respond
to
information
exactly
in
the
way
they
intend
without
unexpected
additions
by
the
other
person”.
However,
in
fact,
texting
can
make
it
hard
to
determine
the
true
meaning
behind
a
conversation.
“A
phone
call
is
actually
more
convenient
when
considering
the
net
effects
of
the
message,”
she
explains.
“Each
party
is
more
present,
and
therefore,
able
to
understand
the
meaning
behind
the
content
without
thinking
over
the
endless
possible
meanings
behind
words
and
punctuation.”
24.
Which
is
the
best
for
building
closer
connections
according
to
the
new
study?
A.
An
email.
B.
A
text
message
C.
A
video
chat.
D.
A
letter.
25.
What
did
the
participants
in
the
first
experiment
do?
A.
They
made
predictions
on
the
others'
intentions.
B.
They
predicted
a
phone
call
would
be
awkward.
C.
They
made
random
phone
calls
to
some
strangers.
D.
They
imagined
the
joy
of
hearing
someone's
voice.
26.
Why
does
Sabrina
Romanoff
consider
making
phone
calls
convenient?
A
It
is
more
convenient
to
perform
in
daily
life.
B.
It
proves
a
controlled
form
of
communication.
C.
It
can
make
it
easier
to
understand
each
other.
D.
It
avoids
unexpected
additions
in
conversations.
27.
What
can
be
a
suitable
title
for
the
text?
A.
Technology
Builds
More
Connections
B.
Communicate
With
Your
Old
Friends
C.
Voice
Communication
Is
Time-saving
D.
Should
We
Call
Instead
of
Texting
C
We’ve
known
that
sitting
for
long
periods
of
time
every
day
has
countless
health
consequences,
like
a
higher
risk
of
heart
disease.
But
now
a
new
study
has
found
that
sitting
is
also
bad
for
your
brain.
A
study
published
last
week,
conducted
by
Dr.
Prabha
Siddarth
at
the
University
of
California,
showed
that
sedentary
(久坐的)
behavior
is
associated
with
reduced
thickness
of
the
medial
temporal
lobe
(中颞叶),
a
brain
area
that
is
critical
to
learning
and
memory.
The
researchers
asked
a
group
of
35
healthy
people,
aged
45
to
70,
about
their
activity
levels
and
the
average
number
of
hours
each
day
spent
sitting
and
then
scanned
their
brains.
They
found
that
the
subjects
who
reported
sitting
for
longer
periods
had
the
thinnest
medial
temporal
lobes.
It
means
that
the
more
time
you
spend
in
a
chair,
the
worse
it
is
for
your
brain
health,
resulting
in
possible
damage
to
learning
and
memory.
What
is
also
interesting
is
that
this
study
did
not
find
a
significant
association
between
the
level
of
physical
activity
and
thickness
of
this
brain
area,
suggesting
that
exercise,
even
severe
exercise,
may
not
be
enough
to
protect
you
from
the
harmful
effects
of
sitting.
It
then
surprisingly
turned
out
that
you
don’t
need
to
move
much
to
enhance
cognition
(认知);
just
standing
will
make
it.
For
example,
two
groups
of
subjects
were
asked
to
complete
a
test
while
either
sitting
or
standing.
Participants
are
presented
with
conflicting
stimuli
(刺激),
like
the
word
“green”
in
blue
ink,
and
asked
to
name
the
color.
Subjects
thinking
on
their
feet
beat
those
who
sat
by
a
32
millisecond
margin.
The
cognitive
effects
of
severe
physical
exercise
are
well
known.
But
the
possibility
that
standing
more
and
sitting
less
improves
brain
health
could
lower
the
bar
for
everyone.
I
know,
this
all
runs
counter
to
receive
ideas
about
deep
thought,
from
our
grade
school
teachers,
who
told
us
to
sit
down
and
focus,
to
Rodin's
famous
“Thinker”
seated
with
chin
on
hand.
They
were
wrong.
You
can
now
all
stand
up.
28.
What
can
we
infer
from
Paragraphs
3
and
4?
A.
Sedentary
behavior
will
possibly
damage
our
brain.
B.
Severe
exercise
can
reduce
the
damage
of
sitting.
C.
Severe
exercise
can
greatly
improve
our
brain
health.
D.
Brain
health
has
nothing
to
do
with
sedentary
behavior.
29.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“enhance”
in
Paragraph
5
mean?
A.
keep
B.
weaken
C.
improve
D.
decrease
30.
What
is
the
received
idea
about
deep
thought?
A.
Sitting
more
is
good
for
our
mental
health.
B.
Sitting
is
better
when
we
think.
C.
Exercise
more
can
improve
our
cognition.
D.
We
should
stand
while
thinking.
31.
The
passage
mainly
tells
us
________.
A.
people
tend
to
sit
while
thinking
B.
physical
exercise
can
improve
our
brain
health
C.
sedentary
behavior
leads
to
countless
health
problems
D.
standing
more
can
make
our
brain
healthier
D
In
the
fall
of
1988,
I
visited
many
Buddhist
temples,
but
after
a
while
they
all
began
to
fade
from
my
memories.
However,
there
was
one
temple
that
left
a
great
impression
in
my
heart.
It
is
called
the
Temple
of
the
Golden
Buddha.
After
walking
around
it
and
taking
some
photos,
I
walked
over
to
a
glass
case,
next
to
which
was
a
typewritten
page
describing
the
history
of
this
magnificent
(壮丽的,宏伟的)piece
of
art.
Back
in
1957
a
group
of
monks
from
a
monastery
(修道院)
had
to
relocate
a
clay
Buddha
from
their
temple
to
a
new
location.
The
monastery
was
to
be
relocated
to
make
room
for
the
development
of
a
highway.
When
the
crane
(吊车)
began
to
lift
it,
the
weight
of
it
was
so
large
that
it
began
to
crack.
What’s
more,
rain
began
to
fall.
The
head
monk
decided
to
lower
the
statue
back
to
the
ground
and
cover
it
with
a
large
oilcloth
to
protect
it
from
the
rain.
Later
that
evening
the
head
monk
went
to
check
on
the
Buddha.
He
shined
his
flash-light
under
the
oilcloth
to
see
if
the
Buddha
was
staying
dry.
As
the
light
reached
the
crack,
he
noticed
a
little
beam
shining
back
and
thought
it
strange.
As
he
took
a
closer
look
at
this
beam
of
light,
he
wondered
if
there
might
be
something
underneath
the
clay.
He
went
to
fetch
a
chisel
and
hammer
from
the
monastery
and
began
to
chip
away
at
the
clay.
As
he
knocked
off
pieces
of
clay,
the
little
beam
grew
brighter
and
bigger.
Many
hours
of
labor
went
by
before
the
monk
stood
face
to
face
with
the
extraordinary
solid-gold
Buddha.
Historians
believe
that
several
hundred
years
before
the
head
monk’s
discovery,
the
army
was
about
to
invade
the
country.
The
monks,
realizing
that
their
country
would
soon
be
attacked,
covered
their
precious
golden
Buddha
with
an
outer
covering
of
clay
in
order
to
keep
their
treasure
from
being
robbed
by
the
enemy.
Unfortunately,
it
appears
that
the
enemy
killed
all
the
monks,
and
the
well-kept
secret
of
the
golden
Buddha
remained
uncovered
until
the
day
in
1957.
As
I
flew
home
I
began
to
think
to
myself,
“We
are
all
like
the
clay
Buddha
covered
with
a
shell
of
hardness
created
out
of
fear,
and
yet
underneath
each
of
us
is
a
‘golden
Buddha’,
a
golden
Christ,
or
a
‘golden
spirit,’
which
is
our
real
self.
Somewhere
along
the
way,
between
the
ages
of
two
and
nine,
we
begin
to
cover
up
our
‘golden
spirit’,
our
natural
self.
Much
like
the
monk
with
the
hammer
and
the
chisel,
our
task
now
is
to
discover
our
true
spirit
once
again.”
32.
Why
was
the
author
greatly
impressed
by
the
golden
Buddha?
A.
Because
he
likes
it
very
much.
B.
Because
of
its
history.
C.
Because
it
differs
from
others.
D.
Because
of
the
protection
of
the
monk.
33.
What
made
the
monks
cover
the
Buddha
with
a
large
oilcloth?
A.
Protecting
it
from
being
damaged.
B.
Hiding
it
from
being
stolen.
C.
Protecting
it

第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
How
do
you
enter
a
room
full
of
strangers?
Do
you
walk
right
in
full
of
confidence?
Or
do
you
try
to
slip
in
without
being
noticed?
___36___.
In
life,we
admire
those
who
do
their
tasks
confidently.We
prefer
people
who
appear
to
know
what
they
are
doing.But
where
does
that
confidence
begin?
Developing
self-confidence
starts
very
early.If
parents’
role
to
get
kids
on
the
right
track
toward
becoming
confident
people.___37___.That
can
be
done
by
focusing
on
the
child’s
strengths.Parents
should
encourage
their
children
to
try
new
things
and
take
risks.When
children
make
mistakes,their
parents
should
still
let
them
know
that
they
are
loved.Children
whose
parents
do
these
things
will
likely
develop
into
confident
adults.___38___
So
what’s
the
solution?
With
most
things
in
life,practice
makes
perfect,and
that
is
true
of
confidence
skills.___39___.
Always
hold
your
head
high
and
look
people
in
the
eye.Answer
questions
clearly
and
confidently.
Focus
on
the
things
that
you
do
well,and
look
for
opportunities
to
use
those
abilities.
Prepare
thoroughly
for
every
project.You’ll
approach
the
task
more
confidently
knowing
that
you
are
ready.
___40___
It
could
be
a
good
test
score
or
a
prize
from
a
contest.Remind
yourself
that
one
success
often
leads
to
the
next.
However,all
humans
fail
at
times,and
you
will
too.Even
with
efforts
to
try
all
the
above,you
will
never
be
perfect.But
you
can
learn
to
love
and
accept
yourself
and
live
your
life
with
confidence.
A.
Keep
in
mind
an
item
that
reminds
you
of
a
recent
success.
B.
The
more
you
practice
them,the
easier
they
will
become.
C.
The
way
you
go
into
new
situations
show
your
level
of
self-confidence.
D.
Our
goal
is
to
prepare
students
to
go
into
the
world
with
confidence.
E.
To
help
that
process,parents
should
always
offer
more
praise
than
criticism.
F.
Learning
from
mistakes
helps
you
face
the
same
situation
later
without
fear.
G.
.But
self-confidence
still
doesn’t
come
easily.

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
Recently
I
graduated
from
high
school,
and
as
a
gift
I
received
a
huge
hunch
of
flowers,
40
to
be
exact!
I
had
so
many
that
I
didn't
know
what
to
do
with
them.
The
next
weekend
my
niece
and
nephew,
Sue
and
Mike,
aged
6
and
7,
came
and
suddenly
I
had
an
idea.
I
might
let
them
give
out
these
flowers
to
people
they
met
on
the
street,
and
in
this
way
they
could
learn
how
to
be
friendly
to
others.
So
I
told
them
about
my
plan
and
explained
that
these
flowers
would
make
people
feel
happy
and
smile.
They
loved
the
idea
and
were
eager
to
have
a
try.
So
at
once
we
took
every
single
flower
and
tied
a
smile
card
to
it.
We
then
went
to
the
street
with
the
flowers.
The
first
flower
went
to
a
policeman.
As
soon
as
she
saw
the
policeman,
my
niece
ran
up
to
him
and
handed
him
a
flower.
His
smile
was
so
big,
but
hers
was
even
bigger!
In
no
time
we
neared
the
end
of
our
flowers.
It
was
lunch
time
and
we
went
to
Subway
for
lunch.
There
the
kids
gave
a
flower
to
the
waitress,
who
was
really
excited
to
receive
the
flower.
As
we
were
eating
our
lunch,
the
waitress
came
up
to
the
kids
with
two
big
chocolate
cookies!
She
said
the
chocolate
cookies
were
for
them
and
that
she
really
liked
the
flower!
As
they
ate
the
cookies,
my
niece
and
nephew
looked
at
me
with
the
biggest
smiles
I
had
ever
seen.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
With
just
one
flower
left,
I
said
it
should
be
given
to
the

needed
it
most.

I’m

【22题详解】
细节理解题。根据文章第二段第一句“Women’s

can
be
done

So
many
things
can
keep
you
from
seeing
your
loved
ones
in
person.
Fortunately,
thanks
to
modern
technology,
the
people
we
miss
are
often
only
a
phone
call
or
text
message
away.
But
according
to
science,
if
you
want
to
feel
more
connected
to
the
people
you're
talking
to,
you
should
call
them
instead
of
texting.
A
new
study,
published
in
the
Journal
of
Experimental
Psychology,
found
that
communication
interactions
that
included
voice
created
stronger
social
relationships
than
communication
through
typing.
In
the
study,
researchers
conducted
various
experiments.
In
the
first
one,
they
asked
200
people
to
make
predictions
about
what
it'd
be
like
to
reconnect
with
an
old
friend
by
email
or
by
phone
and
then
assigned
people
at
random
to
do
one
or
the
other.
Although
people
expected
that
a
phone
call
would
be
more
awkward(尴尬的),
hearing
someone's
voice
actually
made
the
experience
better.
“People
reported
they
did
form
a
significantly
stronger
bond
with
their
old
friend
on
the
phone
versus
(与……相比)
email,
and
they
didn't
feel
more
awkward,”
said
study
co-author
Amit
Kumar.
In
another
experiment,
the
researchers
had
strangers
connect
by
either
texting,
talking
over
video
chat,
or
talking
using
only
audio
(音频).
They
found
that
both
forms
of
voice
communication
made
the
strangers
feel
much
more
connected
than
when
they
communicated
via
text.
Sabrina
Romanoff,
a
Harvard
trained
clinical
psychologist
based
in
New
York
City,
says
people
tend
to
text
or
email
instead
of
calling
because
of
convenience
as
they
see
it
as
a
controlled
form
of
communication
where
they
can
“respond
to
information
exactly
in
the
way
they
intend
without
unexpected
additions
by
the
other
person”.
However,
in
fact,
texting
can
make
it
hard
to
determine
the
true
meaning
behind
a
conversation.
“A
phone
call
is
actually
more
convenient
when
considering
the
net
effects
of
the
message,”
she
explains.
“Each
party
is
more
present,
and
therefore,
able
to
understand
the
meaning
behind
the
content
without
thinking
over
the
endless
possible
meanings
behind
words
and
punctuation.”
24.
Which

the
best
for
building
closer
connections
according
to
the
new
study?
A.
An
email.
B.
A
text

C.
A
video
chat.
D.
A
letter.
25.
What
did
the
participants
in
the
first
experiment
do?
A.
They
made
predictions
on
the
others'
intentions.
B.

predicted
a

awkward.
C.
They
made
random
phone
calls
to
some
strangers.
D.
They
imagined
the
joy
of
hearing
someone's
voice.
26.
Why
does
Sabrina
Romanoff
consider
making
phone
calls
convenient?
A.
It
is
more
convenient
to
perform
in
daily
life.
B.
It
proves
a
controlled
form
of
communication.
C.
It
can
make

D.
It

video
chat(视频聊天)”的交流有声音的参与,其他选项都是文字交流,因此,C选项符合题意。故选C项。
【25题详解】
细节理解题。根据第三段“In

【26题详解】
细节理解题。根据最后一段““A

她解释说:“考虑到短信的实际影响,打电话实际上更方便。每一方都更有参与感,因此,能够理解内容背后的含义,而不必考虑词语和标点符号背后可能存在的无尽含义。”)”可知,Sabrina
Romanoff认为打电话更方便的原因是它让彼此更容易被理解。故选C项。
【27题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第一段“But
according
to
science,
if
you
want
to
feel
more
connected
to
the
people
you're
talking
to,
you
should

found
that
communication
interactions

included
voice
created
stronger
social

We
Call
Instead
of
Texting(我们应该打电话而不是发短信吗?)”概括了文章内容,适合作为文章标题。故选D项。
C
We’ve
known
that
sitting
for
long
periods
of
time
every
day
has
countless
health
consequences,
like
a
higher
risk
of
heart
disease.
But
now
a
new
study
has
found
that
sitting
is
also
bad
for
your
brain.
A
study
published
last
week,
conducted
by
Dr.
Prabha
Siddarth
at
the
University
of
California,
showed
that
sedentary
(久坐的)
behavior
is
associated
with
reduced
thickness
of
the
medial
temporal
lobe
(中颞叶),
a
brain
area
that
is
critical
to
learning
and
memory.
The
researchers
asked
a
group
of
35
healthy
people,
aged
45
to
70,
about
their
activity
levels
and
the
average
number
of
hours
each
day
spent
sitting
and
then
scanned
their
brains.
They
found
that
the
subjects
who
reported
sitting
for
longer
periods
had
the
thinnest
medial
temporal
lobes.
It
means
that
the
more
time
you
spend
in
a
chair,
the
worse
it
is
for
your
brain
health,
resulting
in
possible
damage
to
learning
and
memory.
What
is
also
interesting
is
that
this
study
did
not
find
a
significant
association
between
the
level
of
physical
activity
and
thickness
of
this
brain
area,
suggesting
that
exercise,
even
severe
exercise,
may
not
be
enough
to
protect
you
from
the
harmful
effects
of
sitting.
It
then
surprisingly
turned
out
that
you
don’t
need
to
move
much
to
enhance
cognition
(认知);
just
standing
will
make
it.
For
example,
two
groups
of
subjects
were
asked
to
complete
a
test
while
either
sitting
or
standing.
Participants
are
presented
with
conflicting
stimuli
(刺激),
like
the
word
“green”
in
blue
ink,
and
asked
to
name
the
color.
Subjects
thinking
on
their
feet
beat
those
who
sat
by
a
32
millisecond
margin.
The
cognitive
effects
of
severe
physical
exercise
are
well
known.
But
the
possibility
that
standing
more
and
sitting
less
improves
brain
health
could
lower
the
bar
for
everyone.
I
know,
this
all
runs
counter
to
receive
ideas
about
deep
thought,
from
our
grade
school
teachers,
who
told
us
to
sit
down
and
focus,
to
Rodin's
famous
“Thinker”
seated
with
chin
on
hand.
They
were
wrong.
You
can
now
all
stand
up.
28.
What
can
we
infer
from
Paragraphs
3
and
4?
A.
Sedentary
behavior
will
possibly
damage
our
brain.
B.
Severe
exercise
can
reduce
the
damage
of
sitting.
C.
Severe
exercise
can
greatly
improve
our
brain
health.
D.
Brain
health
has
nothing
to
do
with
sedentary
behavior.
29.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“enhance”
in
Paragraph
5
mean?
A.
keep
B.
weaken
C.
improve
D.
decrease
30.
What
is
the
received
idea
about
deep
thought?
A
Sitting
more
is
good
for
our
mental
health.
B.
Sitting
is
better
when
we
think.
C.
Exercise
more
can
improve
our
cognition.
D.
We
should
stand
while
thinking.
31.
The
passage
mainly
tells
us
________.
A.
people
tend
to
sit
while
thinking
B.
physical
exercise
can
improve
our
brain
health
C.
sedentary
behavior
leads
to
countless
health
problems
D.
standing
more
can
make
our
brain
healthier
【答案】28.
A
29.
C
30.
B
31.
D

D
In
the
fall
of
1988,
I
visited
many
Buddhist
temples,
but
after
a
while
they
all
began
to
fade
from
my
memories.
However,
there
was
one
temple
that
left
a
great
impression
in
my
heart.
It
is
called
the
Temple
of
the
Golden
Buddha.
After
walking
around
it
and
taking
some
photos,
I
walked
over
to
a
glass
case,
next
to
which
was
a
typewritten
page
describing
the
history
of
this
magnificent
(壮丽的,宏伟的)piece
of
art.
Back
in
1957
a
group
of
monks
from
a
monastery
(修道院)
had
to
relocate
a
clay
Buddha
from
their
temple
to
a
new
location.
The
monastery
was
to
be
relocated
to
make
room
for
the
development
of
a
highway.
When
the
crane
(吊车)
began
to
lift
it,
the
weight
of
it
was
so
large
that
it
began
to
crack.
What’s
more,
rain
began
to
fall.
The
head
monk
decided
to
lower
the
statue
back
to
the
ground
and
cover
it
with
a
large
oilcloth
to
protect
it
from
the
rain.
Later
that
evening
the
head
monk
went
to
check
on
the
Buddha.
He
shined
his
flash-light
under
the
oilcloth
to
see
if
the
Buddha
was
staying
dry.
As
the
light
reached
the
crack,
he
noticed
a
little
beam
shining
back
and
thought
it
strange.
As
he
took
a
closer
look
at
this
beam
of
light,
he
wondered
if
there
might
be
something
underneath
the
clay.
He
went
to
fetch
a
chisel
and
hammer
from
the
monastery
and
began
to
chip
away
at
the
clay.
As
he
knocked
off
pieces
of
clay,
the
little
beam
grew
brighter
and
bigger.
Many
hours
of
labor
went
by
before
the
monk
stood
face
to
face
with
the
extraordinary
solid-gold
Buddha.
Historians
believe
that
several
hundred
years
before
the
head
monk’s
discovery,
the
army
was
about
to
invade
the
country.
The
monks,
realizing
that
their
country
would
soon
be
attacked,
covered
their
precious
golden
Buddha
with
an
outer
covering
of
clay
in
order
to
keep
their
treasure
from
being
robbed
by
the
enemy.
Unfortunately,
it
appears
that
the
enemy
killed
all
the
monks,
and
the
well-kept
secret
of
the
golden
Buddha
remained
uncovered
until
the
day
in
1957.
As
I
flew
home
I
began
to
think
to
myself,
“We
are
all
like
the
clay
Buddha
covered
with
a
shell
of
hardness
created
out
of
fear,
and
yet
underneath
each
of
us
is
a
‘golden
Buddha’,
a
golden
Christ,
or
a
‘golden
spirit,’
which
is
our
real
self.
Somewhere
along
the
way,
between
the
ages
of
two
and
nine,
we
begin
to
cover
up
our
‘golden
spirit’,
our
natural
self.
Much
like
the
monk
with
the
hammer
and
the
chisel,
our
task
now
is
to
discover
our
true
spirit
once
again.”
32.
Why
was
the
author
greatly
impressed
by
the
golden
Buddha?
A.
Because
he
likes
it
very
much.
B.
Because
of
its
history.
C.
Because
it
differs
from
others.
D.
Because
of
the
protection
of
the
monk.
33.
What
made
the
monks
cover
the
Buddha
with
a
large
oilcloth?
A.
Protecting
it
from
being
damaged.
B.
Hiding
it
from
being
stolen.
C.
Protecting
it
from
being
taking
photos.
D.
Avoiding
being
seen.
34.
What
might
be
the
best
title
of
the
passage?
A.
Visiting
Buddhist
Temples
B.
The
Golden

C.

D.

35.

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章主要讲述在英国乘坐公共汽车和在拉丁美洲乘坐公共汽车的两种不同的情形,在英国是悲伤且无聊的,在拉美却是有趣舒适的。
【56题详解】
考查定语从句。句意:对于生活或工作在市中心的人来说,公共汽车往往很方便。分子可知,空处引导定语从句,修饰先行词the
people,且引导词在从句中做主语,所以用who或that引导。故填who/that。
【57题详解】
考查冠词。句意:然而,坐公共汽车只是生活中必要但无聊的一部分:他们上公共汽车,付费,坐下或在拥挤时找一个地方站着。根据part可知,此处表示坐公共汽车是生活的一部分,应该用单数,所以用不定冠词,又因为necessary以辅音音素开头,所以用冠词a。故填a。
【58题详解】
考查形容词。句意:每个人似乎都很悲伤和无聊。分析可知,空处和sad连接,做seems的表语,所以用形容词,又因为修饰的主体是everyone,所以用-ed形容词,bored意为“感到无聊的”,符合题意。故填bored。
【59题详解】
考查时态、语态和主谓一致。句意:首先,在城际大巴上播放电影,让乘客在旅途中获得乐趣。分析可知,句子表达的是一般的情况,要用一般现在时,且films和show之间是动宾关系,所以用一般现在时的被动语态,注意主谓一致。show的过去分词有showed和shown两种形式。故填are
showed/shown。
【60题详解】
考查名词的数。首先,在城际大巴上播放电影,让乘客在旅途中获得乐趣。分析可知,between后面要用名词的复数形式。故填cities。
【61题详解】
考查介词。句意:当地的公共汽车不播放电影,但司机通常会打开收音机,对乘客来说,感到快乐和舒适地听着歌曲是很棒的。根据句意可知,此处表示“打开收音机”,要用固定短语turn
on。故填on。
【62题详解】
考查非谓语动词。句意:当地的公共汽车不播放电影,但司机通常会打开收音机,对乘客来说,感到快乐和舒适地听着歌曲是很棒的。分析可知,句子为it做形式主语的句型,真正的主语为动词不定式。故填to
listen。
【63题详解】
考查代词,句意:当地的公共汽车总是开往城市中乘客们自己不会去的地方。分析可知,此处表示“亲自”,为固定短语by
oneself,所以要用反身代词。故填themselves。
【64题详解】
考查时态和主谓一致。句意:此外,乘客的语言也是有趣的。分析可知,句子表达的是一般情况,所以用一般现在时,passengers’
language表示单数,注意主谓一致。故填is。
【65题详解】
考查副词。句意:经常可以看到一只快乐的狗的头从某人的包里出来,或一只可爱的鸡在某人的胳膊下“愉快地叽叽叫着”。分析可知,修饰动词speaking要用副词,cheerfully意为“愉快地”,符合句意。故填cheerfully。

阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
Recently
I
graduated
from
high
school,
and
as
a
gift
I
received
a
huge
hunch
of
flowers,
40
to
be
exact!
I
had
so
many
that
I
didn't
know
what
to
do
with
them.
The
next
weekend
my
niece
and
nephew,
Sue
and
Mike,
aged
6
and
7,
came
and
suddenly
I
had
an
idea.
I
might
let
them
give
out
these
flowers
to
people
they
met
on
the
street,
and
in
this
way
they
could
learn
how
to
be
friendly
to
others.
So
I
told
them
about
my
plan
and
explained
that
these
flowers
would
make
people
feel
happy
and
smile.
They
loved
the
idea
and
were
eager
to
have
a
try.
So
at
once
we
took
every
single
flower
and
tied
a
smile
card
to
it.
We
then
went
to
the
street
with
the
flowers.
The
first
flower
went
to
a
policeman.
As
soon
as
she
saw
the
policeman,
my
niece
ran
up
to
him
and
handed
him
a
flower.
His
smile
was
so
big,
but
hers
was
even
bigger!
In
no
time,
we
neared
the
end
of
our
flowers.
It
was
lunch
time
and
we
went
to
Subway
for
lunch.
There
the
kids
gave
a
flower
to
the
waitress,
who
was
really
excited
to
receive
the
flower.
As
we
were
eating
our
lunch,
the
waitress
came
up
to
the
kids
with
two
big
chocolate
cookies!
She
said
the
chocolate
cookies
were
for
them
and
that
she
really
liked
the
flower!
As
they
ate
the
cookies,
my
niece
and
nephew
looked
at
me
with
the
biggest
smiles
I
had
ever
seen.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;

It

【答案】With
just
one
flower
left,
I
said
it
should
be
given
to
the
person
who
needed
it
most.
Just
then,
my
nephew
caught
sight
of
an
old
woman
in
a
wheelchair
nearby.
“I
think
she’s
the
very
person
for
the
flower.
She
lives
a
hard
life
because
of
bad
health.
She
needs
smiles
most,”
said
my
nephew.
With
these
words,
my
nephew,
followed
by
my
niece,
took
the
flower
up
to
her.
You
can
imagine
how
happy
the
old
woman
looked!
She
smiled,
and
gave
each
of
the
kids
a
big
kiss.
It
turned
out
to
be
a
great
day
for
us.
We
spread
a
lot
of
smiles
by
giving
out
flowers,
and
received
a
lot
of
smiles
in
return.
The
flowers
not
only
made
us
feel
good
about
ourselves,
but
also
made
40
other
people
feel
happy.
I
feel
there
is
nothing
more
enjoyable
than
being
friendly
to
people.
Meanwhile,
the
kids
learned
an
important
lesson
in
the
process.
In
fact,
they
can’t
wait
until
next
time
they
have
such
a
chance
again.
They
want
to
give
out
more
flowers!
【解析】
【分析】本篇书面表达是读后续写。
【详解】通过阅读所给文章可知,作者高中毕业时收到了很多鲜花,他打算让侄子侄女们把花送给别人,用这样的方式让他们知道如何对别人友好。
续写部分分为两段,第一段开头是:只剩下一朵花了,我说应该给最需要的人……,所以应该写谁是最需要这朵花的人。要详细描述为什么这个人是最需要这朵花的,同时要刻画当这个人收到花时的感受与表现等。第二段开头是:这对我们来说是伟大的一天。本段应该写我和侄子侄女通过送花这件事的感受及明白的道理。
续写时要求短文的词数应为150左右,所以要提前构思,抓住重点,避免长篇大论。
【点睛】续写部分描写详略得当,使用了高级词汇和高级句子。如:catch
sight
of;more…
than;can’t
wait
;give
out等高级词汇;With
these
words,followed
by
my
niece复合结构作状语等高级句式。
