When
it
comes
to
the
greatest
inventions
of
the
world,
China’s
name
is
sure
to
be
mentioned
several
times.
There
are
hundreds
of
things
which
were
invented
by
the
Chinese.
Alcohol
Shocked?
I
was
because
when
they
said
alcohol
I
thought
about
either
the
US
or
the
UK.
China
had
never
crossed
my
mind.
In
China,
alcohol
was
made
by
two
legendary
persons
named
Yi
Di
and
Du
Kang
who
belonged
to
the
Xia
Dynasty.
This
period
was
about
2000
BC
-
1600
BC.
Research
says
that
in
ancient
China,
beer
with
4%
alcoholic
content
was
widely
consumed
by
people.
Tea
China
is
the
proud
inventor
of
tea
which
was
first
drunk
by
Shen
Nong,
a
Chinese
emperor
around
2737
BC.
Tea
production
was
rapidly
developed,
making
tea
a
popular
drink
during
the
Tang
and
Song
Dynasties.
The
Mechanical
Clock
Have
you
ever
wondered
what
on
earth
we
would
be
doing
without
any
idea
of
time?
A
clock
really
is
an
invention
without
which
things
were
incomplete.
The
credit
of
making
the
first
mechanical
clock
goes
to
ancient
China.
The
first
mechanical
clock
was
invented
by
Yi
Xing
in
the
Tang
Dynasty.
This
was
during
618
and
907.
Silk
Fabric
Silk,
the
favorite
fabric
of
many
girls
out
there,
is
also
a
Chinese
invention.
Although
we
all
know
that
silk
is
made
by
silkworms,
it
was
Chinese
people
who
first
invented
a
way
to
harvest
the
silk
and
then
use
it
to
make
clothes.
The
oldest
silk
which
has
been
found
so
far
is
in
Henan
Province
and
dates
back
to
3630
BC.

It's
a
popular
belief
that
a
fish's
memory
lasts
for
only
seven
seconds.
It
may
seem
sad
to
think
that
they
don't
remember
what
they've
eaten
or
where
they’ve
been,
and
they
don't
identify
you
or
any
of
their
friends--every
moment
in
their
life
would
be
like
seeing
the
world
for
the
first
time.
But
don't
be
so
quick
to
feel
sorry
for
them.
A
new
study
has
found
that
fish
have
a
much
better
memory
than
we
used
to
think.
In
fact,
certain
species
of
fish
can
even
remember
events
from
as
long
as
12
days
ago.
In
the
study,
researchers
from
Mac
Ewan
University
in
Canada
trained
a
kind
of
fish
called
African
cichlids
to
go
to
a
certain
area
of
their
tank
to
get
food.They
then
waited
for
12
days
before
putting
them
back
in
the
tank
again.
Researchers
used
computer
software
to
monitor
the
fish’s
movements.They
found
that
after
such
a
long
break
the
fish
still
went
to
the
same
place
where
they
first
got
food.
This
suggested
that
they
could
remember
their
past
experiences.
In
fact.
scientists
had
been
thinking
for
a
long
time
that
African
cichlids
might
have
a
good
memory.
An
earlier
study
showed
that
they
behaved
aggressively(挑衅地)
in
front
of
certain
fish,
perhaps
because
they
remembered
their
past
"fights".But
until
the
latest
findings,
there
was
no
clear
evidence.
Just
as
a
good
memory
can
make
our
lives
easier,
it
also
plays
an
important
part
when
a
fish
is
trying
to
survive
in
the
wild.
"If
fish
are
able
to
remember
that
a
certain
area
contains
safe
food,
they
will
be
able
to
go
back
to
that
area
without
putting
their
lives
at
risk,"lead
researcher
Trevor
Hamilton
told
Live
Science.
For
a
long
time,
fish
were
placed
far
below
chimpanzees,
dolphins
and
mice
on
the
list
of
smart
animals.But
this
study
has
given
scientists
a
new
understanding
of
their
intelligence.

remember
their
friends
and
help
each

6
What
can
we
learn
from
the
text?
A.
Only
African
cichlids
have
a
good
memory.
B.
African
cichlids
can
remember
things
for
12
days.

African
cichlids
always
treat
other
fish
aggressively.
D.
African
cichlids
don't
belong
to
the
list
of
smart
animals.
7.
What
is
the
text
mainly
about?
A.
What
we
can
learn
from
fish.
B.
Fish
having
a
very
bad
memory.
C.
How
fish
improve
their
memory.
D.
Fish
being
smarter

C
The
first
typewriters
were
big
heavy
metal
machines
that
worked
a
bit
like
a
piano.
Have
you
ever
seen
the
inside
of
a
real
piano?
You
press
a
key
and
some
levers(
杠杆)
make
a
small
tool
inside
hit
just
the
right
piano
string
to
make
a
note.
Early
typewriters
were
similar.They
had
all
these
levers
with
a
metal
letter
at
the
end
of
each
of
them.You
had
to
press
a
letter
key
quite
hard
to
make
the
metal
lever
fly
across
and
hit
the
paper.
The
first
machine
did
have
the
letter
keys
in
the
order
of
the
letters
we
learn.
But
the
trouble
was
that
if
you
hit
two
keys
quickly
the
levers
would
jam(卡住).
Jams
were
most
likely
when
the
two
keys
were
close
together
on
the
keyboard.
Christopher
Sholes,
an
American
inventor,
succeeded
in
dealing
with
the
problem.He
tried
many
ways
to
avoid
the
need
to
type
two
keys
that
were
close
together.
The
best
way
he
could
find
was
similar
to
the
QWERTY
keyboard
we
all
use
today.
Sholes
also
made
the
name
of
his
machine
easy
to
type.
He
placed
on
the
same
line
all
the
letters
of
the
words"type"and
"writer".He
sold
his
invention
to
the
Remington
Company
which
built
and
sold
the
first
successful
typewriters.Later,
many
other
kinds
of
the
letter
keys
have
been
tried.
Some
are
said
to
be
easier
to
learn
or
faster
to
use.
But
none
has
proved
good
enough
to
beat
QWERTY.
QWERTY
was
developed
for
the
English
language.
The
keyboard
slightly
differs
around
the
world.
For
example
AZERTY
is
commonly
used
for
French,
QWERTZ
for
German,and
QZERTY
for
Italian.
Perhaps
you
can
find
someone
from
India,
Japan
or
Korea.
Ask
them
to
show
you
the
keyboard
they
use
in
their
language.
8.

show
how
the
piano
influenced
the
typewriter.
C.
To
tell
why
the
typewriter
was
invented.
D.

how
the
early
typewriter
worked.
9.

did
Christopher
Sholes
change
the
order
of
the
letters
on
the
keyboard?

To
make
people
type
quickly.
B
To
solve
the
jam
problem.

put
frequently
used
letters
together.
10.

do
we
know
about
the
QWERTY
keyboard
from
Paragraph
4?
A.
It
was
doubted
at
first.

It
still
needs
to
be
improved.
C.
It's
better
than
other
keyboards.
D.
It
made
the

is
the
main
idea
of
the
last
paragraph?

The
keyboard
is
changing
over
time.

The
word
"QWERTY"is
out
of
date.

The
QWERTY
keyboard
is
very
popular.

The
canyons
(峡谷)of
America's
Southwest
are
deep,
ancient
openings
in
the
earth.
They
look
as
if
they
formed
as
the
earth
split.
Forty
million
years
ago,
the
Colorado
River
began
cutting
through
the
area
around
the
present-day
Grand
Canyon.
The
river
carried
dirt
and
pieces
of
stone
that
slowly
ate
away
at
the
surrounding
rock.
It
left
a
pathway
of
enormous
rock
openings.
At
the
same
time,
forces
deep
within
the
earth
pushed
up
the
surrounding
land.
Rain,
snow,
ice,
wind
and
plant
roots
rubbed
at
the
top
of
this
new
canyon.
Below,
the
river
continued
to
uncover
more
and
more
levels
of
ancient
rock.
The
Grand
Canyon
measures
2,
500
meters
from
the
canyon
floor
to
its
highest
point.
Because
of
its
size,
the
weather
at
the
top
of
the
canyon
is
often
much
different
from
that
at
the
bottom.
On
some
winter
days,
for
example,
you
may
find
cold
winds
and
snow
at
the
top
.But
at
the
bottom
of
the
canyon,
you
may
find
warm
winds
and
flowers.
The
Grand
Canyon
is
home
to
some
2,
000
plant
species.
Some
of
these
species
can
only
be
found
in
the
park.
The
park
is
also
home
to
more
than
370
species
of
birds,
90
kinds
of
mammals
and
40
kinds
of
reptiles.
Many
of
the
birds
spend
the
whole
lives
in
the
Grand
Canyon.
Other
species
depend
on
the
Grand
Canyon
for
food
and
shelter
during
large
migrations.
The
Grand
Canyon
was
named
the
Globally
Important
Bird
Area
in
2014
because
of
the
role
it
plays
in
protecting
many
species
of
birds.
In
1869,
John
Wesley
Powell
from
the
USA
explored
the
Grand
Canyon.
He
recorded
much
of
what
we
know
today
about
the
area.
Powell
and
his
group
traveled
in
four
boats
along
the
Colorado
River.
He
and
his
group
of
explorers
knew
very
little
about
getting
over
the
fast
waters
of
the
Colorado
River.
In
many
places,
boats
could
be
turned
over
by
giant
waves.
12.
It
was
_______
that
formed
the

Canyon.
A.
the

B.
the
force
from
earthquakes
C.
the

for
different
types
of
tasks,
such
as
daily
or
weekly
tasks,
necessary
tasks
and
unnecessary
tasks.

Organize
your
list.
Once
you’ve
listed
everything,
you
can
figure
out
what
to
do
first
and
organize
your
schedule.
You
can
organize
your
tasks
according
to
whether
they
are
important
or
what
the
value
of
a
task
is.
___18___

Batch(分批处理)
tasks.
Batching
tasks
is
one
of
the
most
useful
ways
to
get
those
tasks
done.
Batching
simply
means
you
work
on
the
same
type
of
task
again
and
again
before
starting
something
else.
___19___
Then
you
deal
with
those
tasks
at
the
same
time
using
that
work
process.

Delete
tasks.
Once
you’ve
listed
all
your
tasks
and
sorted
them
correctly,
it
will
become
clear
which
tasks
are
at
the
bottom
of
the
list.
___20___
However,
if
that’s
not
possible,
you
have
to
decide
whether
to
schedule
time
for
them
or
to
delete
them.
You
may
have
tasks
on
your
list
that
you
do
not
have
to
do
or
even
want
to
do,
but
you
feel
pressured
at
some
point.
These
can
be
deleted
entirely.
A.
Make
a
list
of
your
to-do
tasks.
B.
Make
others
know
your
private
tasks.
C.
Maybe
you
don’t
even
know
where
to
start.
D.
You
can
also
organize
them
according
to
your
time.
E.
Sometimes
you
can
call
someone
else
to
do
those
tasks.
F.
Those
tasks
should
be
of
great
importance
to
your
own
future.
G.
The
first
step
is
to
identify
tasks
and
set
up
a
simple
work
process
to
follow.

B
It's
a
popular
belief
that
a
fish's
memory
lasts
for
only
seven
seconds.
It
may
seem
sad
to
think
that
they
don't
remember
what
they've
eaten
or
where
they’ve
been,
and
they
don't
identify
you
or
any
of
their
friends--every
moment
in
their
life
would
be
like
seeing
the
world
for
the
first
time.
But
don't
be
so
quick
to
feel
sorry
for
them.
A
new
study
has
found
that
fish
have
a
much
better
memory
than
we
used
to
think.
In
fact,
certain
species
of
fish
can
even
remember
events
from
as
long
as
12
days
ago.
In
the
study,
researchers
from
Mac
Ewan
University
in
Canada
trained
a
kind
of
fish
called
African
cichlids
to
go
to
a
certain
area
of
their
tank
to
get
food.They
then
waited
for
12
days
before
putting
them
back
in
the
tank
again.
Researchers
used
computer
software
to
monitor
the
fish’s
movements.They
found
that
after
such
a
long
break
the

may
seem
sad
to
think
that
they
don't
remember
what
they've
eaten
or
where
they’ve
been,
and
they
don't
identify
you

like
seeing
the
world
for
the
first
time.(想到它们不记得吃过什么,去过哪里,也认不出你或任何朋友,这似乎很可悲——它们生命中的每一刻都像是第一次看到这个世界。)”可知,根据这篇文章,人们通常认为鱼儿认不出自己的任何朋友。故选A。
【5题详解】
细节理解题。根据第二段“They
found
that
after
such
a
long
break
the
fish
still
went
to
the
same

it
also
plays
an
important
part
when
a
fish
is
trying

The
first
typewriters
were
big
heavy
metal
machines
that
worked
a
bit

Have
you
ever
seen
the
inside
of
a
real

You
press
a
key
and
some
levers(
杠杆)
make
a
small
tool
inside
hit
just
the
right
piano
string
to
make
a
note.
Early
typewriters
were
similar.They
had
all
these
levers
with
a
metal
letter
at
the
end
of
each
of
them.You
had
to
press
a
letter
key
quite
hard
to
make
the
metal
lever
fly
across
and
hit
the
paper.
The
first
machine
did
have
the
letter
keys
in
the
order
of
the
letters
we
learn.
But
the
trouble
was
that
if
you
hit
two
keys
quickly
the
levers
would
jam(卡住).
Jams
were
most
likely
when
the
two
keys
were
close
together
on
the
keyboard.
Christopher
Sholes,
an
American
inventor,
succeeded
in
dealing
with
the
problem.He
tried
many
ways
to
avoid
the
need
to
type
two
keys
that
were
close

The
best
way
he
could
find
was
similar
to
the
QWERTY
keyboard
we
all
use
today.
Sholes
also
made
the
name
of
his
machine
easy
to
type.
He
placed
on
the
same

all
the

of
the
words"type"and

sold
his
invention
to
the
Remington

which
built
and
sold
the
first
successful
typewriters.Later,
many
other
kinds
of
the

are
said
to
be
easier
to

or
faster
to

But
none

QWERTY.
QWERTY
was
developed
for
the
English

slightly
differs
around
the

For
example
AZERTY
is
commonly
used
for
French,
QWERTZ
for
German,and
QZERTY
for
Italian.
Perhaps
you
can
find
someone
from

Japan
or
Korea.
Ask
them
to
show
you
the
keyboard
they

in
their

B.
To
show
how
the
piano
influenced
the
typewriter.
C.
To
tell
why
the
typewriter
was

D.
To
explain
how
the

9.
Why
did
Christopher
Sholes
change
the

B.
To
solve
the
jam

C.
To
help
people
remember
it
easily.
D.
To
put
frequently

10.
What
do
we

about
the
QWERTY

from
Paragraph
4?
A.
It
was

at
first.
B.
It
still
needs
to

第一代打字机是大型的重金属机器,工作起来有点像钢琴。你见过真正钢琴的内部吗?你按下一个键,里面的杠杆,正好敲击钢琴的琴弦来产生音符。早期的打字机也是类似的工作原理。)由此判断出,作者写第一段的目的解释早期打字机的工作原理。故选D项。
【9题详解】
推理判断题。根据第二段“.
But
the

The
canyons
(峡谷)of
America's
Southwest
are
deep,
ancient
openings
in
the
earth.
They
look
as
if
they

as
the

Forty
million
years
ago,
the
Colorado
River
began
cutting
through
the

around
the
present-day
Grand

The
river
carried
dirt
and
pieces
of

that
slowly

It
left
a
pathway
of
enormous
rock
openings.
At
the

forces
deep

the
earth
pushed
up
the
surrounding
land.
Rain,
snow,
ice,

at
the
top
of
this
new
canyon.
Below,
the
river
continued
to
uncover
more
and
more
levels
of
ancient
rock.
The
Grand
Canyon
measures
2,
500
meters
from
the
canyon
floor
to
its
highest
point.
Because
of
its
size,
the
weather
at
the
top
of
the
canyon
is
often
much
different
from
that
at
the
bottom.
On
some
winter
days,
for

you
may
find
cold
winds
and
snow
at
the
top
.But
at
the
bottom
of
the
canyon,
you
may
find
warm
winds
and
flowers.
The
Grand
Canyon
is
home
to
some
2,

plant
species.
Some
of
these
species
can
only
be
found
in

The

also
home
to
more
than
370
species
of
birds,
90
kinds
of
mammals
and
40
kinds
of
reptiles.
Many
of
the
birds
spend
the
whole
lives
in
the
Grand
Canyon.
Other
species
depend
on
the
Grand

for
food
and

during
large
migrations.
The
Grand

was
named
the
Globally
Important
Bird

because
of
the

in
protecting
many

In

explored
the
Grand

He
recorded
much
of
what
we
know
today
about
the

Powell
and
his

traveled
in
four
boats
along
the
Colorado
River.
He
and
his
group
of
explorers
knew
very
little
about
getting
over
the
fast
waters
of
the
Colorado
River.
In
many
places,
boats
could
be
turned
over
by
giant

the
top
of
the
canyon
is
often
much
different
from
that
at
the

(由于它的大小,峡谷顶部的天气通常与底部的天气大不相同)”可知在讲大峡谷的天气,根据第四自然段“The
Grand
Canyon
is
home
to
some
2,
000
plant
species.
(大峡谷是大约2000种植物的家园)”可知第四段讲峡谷内物种,根据第五自然段“In

【分析】这是一篇说明文。介绍了管理工作任务的几种方法。
【16题详解】
设空句后的Here’s
how
to
manage
your
tasks.下面是如何管理您的任务。提示设空句讲述对如何管理任务有困扰,选项C或许你不知道从哪里开始。谈的是困扰,切题,故选C。
【17题详解】
设空句为段首句,是这一段的主题句,下面的make
a
list
of
everything
that
you
want
to
finish列出要完成的所有事情,与选项A“列出你的待办事项”内容吻合。切题,故选A。
【18题详解】
设空句在段尾,与这段内容的主旨内容Organize
your
list.(整理你的清单)要一致,选项D中的organize与段首句中的Organize词汇复现,选项D切题,故选D。
【19题详解】
设空句后,句中的Then提示设空句内容在前,选项G中The

【点睛】七选五类型的题目,要注意设空句所在位置,这对选项的选定有很大帮助。本题中的第2小题在段首,一般段首句为段落主题句,这一段的主题就是列出所有任务,将各任务分类,选项A是符合这段的主题的,比较容易选定答案。

【详解】1.考查非谓语动词。句意:我住在一个典型的中国四代同堂的家庭。本句已经存在谓语动词且句中没有连词,故live只能做非谓语动词与逻辑主语构成主谓关系,用现在分词,故lived改为living。

5.考查定语从句连接词。句意:周末,爸爸会带爷爷去乡下钓鱼,爷爷很喜欢户外活动。本句为定语从句修饰先行词且先行词在从句中做主语,指人,故应用关系代词who。故that改为who。
6.考查人称代词。句意:妈妈和奶奶会为我们做美味的食物。根据句意,故ourselves改为us。
7.考查固定句型。固定句型so…that…“如此……以致于……”,so修饰形容词,such修饰名词,故such改为so。
8.考查动词语态。句意:我的家庭是如此和谐,我已经成长为一个充满爱和责任的人。动词grow没有被动结构,故去掉been。
9.考查副词。teach为动词需要副词修饰,故definite改为definitely。
