(1) My old coats are so short that I want to buy some new ones. 我的旧外套太短了，我想买些新的。
◆so ... that ... 如此......以至于...... ，that 引导的是结果状语从句，其结构是“so+形容词或副词+that从句”。
◆ones 代替上文提到的同类复数事物，以避免重复。
E.g:他跑得如此快以至于我们追不上他。
He ran so fast that we couldn't catch up with him.
