Once up a time, there was a boy. He looked after the sheep. One day, the boy was very bored.
He wanted to play a trick. He climbed up a hill.
"Help! Wolf!" Cried the boy.
The people of the town ran to help. There was no wolf. The boy laughed.
The next day, the boy did it again. "Help! Wolf!" cried the boy.
Again, the people of the town ran to help. Again, there was no wolf. Again, the boy laughed.
Then, a wolf really came for the sheep.
"Help! Wolf!" Cried the boy.
No one came to help.
The wolf chased all the boy's sheep away. The boy could do nothing. He was very sad.
At last,the boy learned a lesson.
People don't believe liars, even when they tell the truth.

The ancient Greek(古希腊人) Aesop was a famous fabulist(寓言家). He liked collecting interesting animal stories. The Aesop’s Fables tell us the truth by simple and easy-understood stories. Aesop’s Fables are famous all over the world.

The farmer and the snake
It was a cold winter evening. An old farmer went home after work. On his way home, he saw a snake on the road. It was not dead, but it couldn't move because it was so cold.
Then the farmer picked the snake up. He wanted to find a warm place for the snake. So he put it in his clothes.
Soon, the snake came back to life and bit the farmer hard. The farmer was angry. He killed the snake.

打开话题,无痕链接时态
对待语法教学应该有一个辩证统一的态度。既要肯定语法教学的重要功能,又要杜绝教师单纯地讲授语法知识;既要遵守英语语法的“隐性教学原则”,又要进行适当的归纳和总结,适时进行“显性教学”。如何兼顾时态教学的显性和隐性?为此我选择了寓言故事切入。寓言故事是学生喜闻乐见的语言载体,因此我用“狼来了”这一寓言故事打开了本节课的话题,通过简单的背景陈述,无痕链接时态。

依托思维导图,引导时态整合
这是一节语法复习课,学生对一般过去时都有一定的知识储备。抛开机械的复习,积极调动学生的旧知,进行语法的系统性整合复习就是需要解决的问题。
思维导图可以将语法知识用视觉转化的方式呈现出来。不同于教师直接给出一般过去时的思维导图框架。本节课,我直接给出一个空白框架,让学生结合寓言故事“狼来了”中的语言点,引导学生自行归纳。
为此,我从文本中调出过去时的动词变化和发音,表示一般过去时的关键词等引导学生观察,联想,帮助他们将零散的知识系统化,从而增强语法知识记忆,也培养了学生的分析,创新的高阶思维能力,帮助学生将点连成线。配合相应的练习,加以技巧,优化复习语法知识的效果。
善抛话题,让学生做课堂的主角
评价一节课目标的达成还是需要看学生课后是否有能带得走和带着走收获。所以最后我抛开“狼来了”,引入寓言故事“农夫与蛇”,明确写作评分标准后,放手让学生使用一般过去时表达,力求做到准确,连贯与多样。学生在自由创作的同时,语言能力也能得到发展。

我将这节课戏称为“章鱼式”复习课。以一般过去时为抓手,依托寓言故事载体,给出空白思维导图,将一般过去时的知识点,牢固的吸附在主题周围同时,又发散式给予学生最大的自由,让其可以伸出思维的触手去探索与创造,最终呈现属于自己的思维导图,达成本课教学目标。
