Lesson 24 The Diffos
一 教学目标分析
1. 知识与技能目标:
能在语境中理解语言,领悟故事的中心意思。能够复述故事。能用英语谈论有关喜好的话题,如What’s your favourite colour? My favourite colour is red. I like to play basketball with my father.等。
2.学习策略目标:
通过任务型活动,引导学生学会用语言表达事情,完成交际任务。采用师评、自评、互评、的评价方式增强学生的自信心和自我调控意识。

1. 教学重点:学生能运用多种阅读策略理解故事内容,并能用正确的语音、语调朗读故事
2. 教学难点:学生能在板书、ppt图片及故事关键词帮助下复述故事

四、教学过程设计:
Step I: Class opening
Warming-up (4分钟)
师生问候,开始上课。
假装接听电话,高兴地对着电话说: Oh, it’s you. My good friend. What? You’re coming tomorrow. Great!I’m so happy to hear that.
(1)学生各自做着自己喜欢的事情。(2)教师做出让学生安静的手势之后,学生保持安静,自由选择是否听老师的电话内容。
Step II: Pre-reading (10分钟)
1. 问候学生 : How are you today? Are you happy? I’m very happy today .Do you know why? Because my good friend is coming. Look! This is my friend. 同时出示周杰伦的照片。
然后提问:Do you know him? Can you say something about him? What’s his favourite colour / sport…? What does he like to do? He likes to sing songs and write stories.
(1)回答老师的问候,看照片互相议论。(2)在老师的引导下说出His favourite colour is black. He likes to sing and write stories.
2. 导入故事
老师呈现故事图片:Look, this is a story written by him. What is the name of the story? 揭示课题《The Diffos》。出示问题:What happened in this story? Do they have any likes or dislikes?
听老师的介绍,理解老师介绍的话语。对故事进行大胆的猜测。
Step III: While – Reading(10分钟)
1)老师呈现画册的第一幅图就画面提出问题。How many people are there in Picture 1? Who are they? What colour are their clothes? Do you like blue? What’s your favourite colour?…Red? Great! I like red, too. We’re the same…用听故事(录音机)的方法来验证学生的回答。之后开始询问生活中学生们喜欢的颜色。
(2)老师继续呈现画册的第二幅图,提出问题。
Look at Mr. Diffo. Where does he wear his caps? What about Debbie? And David? Do you have a cap? Where do you wear? Are you the same with them?…引导学生探讨故事中主人公最喜欢的服饰,以此为切入点来询问学生们最喜欢的服饰。
(3)老师依次出示画册的其它图片。
老师提出问题把学生带到故事中或回到现实走进学生的生活喜好中。
(1)学生看画册,根据自己的能力水平来回答故事中的问题。(2)学生看课本分几次来听故事的录音。(3)学生谈论自己喜欢的颜色/ 衣服/食物……
Step IV:After Reading (12分钟)
1. Read and check.
( ) The Diffos like green.
( ) Mr. Diffo wears caps on his fingers.
( ) They like hot dogs for dinner.
( ) Debbie Diffo likes to fly kites in the park.
( ) People always get angry at the Diffos.
2. Listen and follow.
(1)老师引导学生完整地听一遍录音并跟读。(2)老师出示迷宫图,并出示有关理解故事的问题,帮助学生走迷宫。问题如下:
a. Are the Diffos the same as you?
b. What’s the Diffos favourite colour?
c. What do the Diffos like to wear?
d. Does the dog have a purple sock?
e. What do the Diffos like to eat for breakfast?
f. What is their favourite dinner?
g. What does David like to do?
h. What does Debbie like to do?
i. What is their favourite school work?
(1)学生听录音跟读。(2)学生在老师引导下走迷宫。
2. Act
(1)老师介绍周杰伦明天来招募演员,鼓励学生们分角色把故事彩排一下。(2)请学生当小小大记者,来采访同学们的喜好并记录,然后绘制档案小表格活动。
(1)学生分角色表演故事。(2)学生开展采访调查活动,完成档案小表格的填写。
