教学目标
1.知识目标
⑴词汇:掌握词汇:diary,last, few ,hold.
认知词汇:Olympics,thousand,instrument.
⑵短语:a few, in time,thousands of.
⑶句型:
We will fly home tomorrow.
I will miss China.
I loved the music and the colourful clothing.
Yesterday was a great day.
It held the 2008Olympics.
I learned so about Chinese historyand culture.
2.能力目标
⑴能基本掌握数字的用法
基数词1—12,13—19,20-90,21-99,101-999,1000以上的读法和写法
⑵了解中国的历史和文化,让学生产生爱国之情。
⑶能用英语简单谈论中国的一些名胜古迹。
3.情感目标
逐步培养学生听说读写英语的能力,帮助树立学习的自信心。鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂活动,模拟表演。
【教学重难点】
重点:掌握重点单词、短语与句型; 难点:短语和专有名词的识记

【教学过程】
一、导入环节(2分钟)
(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:

(二)出示学习目标
过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和句型:diary, last, few, hold, Olympics, thousand, instrument,a few ---
2.通过学习,我要了解更多相关祖国的历史和文化知识,培养热爱祖国的自豪感。

三、后教环节(15分钟)
过渡语: Next ,let’s learn and discuss some important language points.
学法指导:先独立思考合作探究当中的问题,然后注意结合例句,小组讨论本课语法知识点,不理解的提交班内解决。
探究一:This is our last night in China. (这是我们在中国的最后一个晚上。)
last: (1)最后的 例:I finished the last three pages of this book. _________________
(2)上一个: last week: 上周;last month: 上个月 last year: 去年, 这些均为一般过去时的时间状语。例:I did not sleep well last night.
探究二:I loved the music and the colorful clothing. (我喜欢那音乐和炫丽的服装。)
(1)clothing: 衣服,是服装的总称。含义比clothes广泛,除指衣服外,还可指鞋袜、帽子、床褥等。没有复数形式。一件衣服: a piece of clothing.
(2) clothes: 衣服,指身上的各种衣服,包括内衣、外衣、上衣、裤子等。clothes是复数名词,没有单数形式。其前不与基数词连用,如可以说,many clothes, 但不可以说 three clothes.
探究三:It is only a few years old.(这里建成仅有几年的时间。)
(1)a few: 一些,几个。修饰可数名词,在句中表示肯定 (肯定/否定)。
例:I have a few interesting books. _____________________________
(2)few: 少数的,很少的。修饰可数名词,在句中表示否定(肯定/否定)。
例:Few students know how to do the exercise. _______________________________
(3)a little: 一点、少量的。修饰不可数名词,在句中表示肯定(肯定/否定)。
例:There is a little water in the glass. ___________________________________
(4)little: 很少有,几乎没有。修饰不可数名词,在句中表示否定(肯定/否定)。
例:There is little tea in the cup. __________________________________
探究四:、It held the 2008 Olympics. (2008年奥运会就是在这里举办的。)
(1)hold 举行 例:To hold a meeting or a discussion. _____________________
拿着 例:He is holding her pen. ________________________
(2)Olympics: 奥运会 the Winter Olympics: 冬季奥会;the Summer Olympics: 夏季奥运会
探究五:Where else can you travel thousands of years back in time? (回到几千年前,你还会去哪儿呢?)
(1)thousands of: 数以千记的,许多的。如果表示具体几千,则thousand不用复数,如:两千名学生 two thousand students.
hundred, thousand, million等词,前面有数词修饰时,本身不用复数,且后面没有介词of;反之,表示概数时,用复数形式,同时后面加介词of.
例:There are thousands of customers today in the restaurant. _________________________
We have two thousand students in our school. _____________________________
探究六:I will come back someday. (以后我还会来的。) someday: 将来某一天,也可写作some day,通常用于将来时态。
例:He will turn up again someday.___________________________
