Knowledge aim: Be able to use the new words of unit 6 in sentence pattern: Is this your T-shirt? Be able to answer the question in dialogue .
Ability aim: Use the sentence structure to make dialogue, understand and be able to tell the story.
Emotion aim: Find out the story’s main idea: Don’t be careless.
Teaching focus: Understand the story and be able to read the story.
Teaching difficulties: Be able to act out the story in groups.
Teaching aids: PPT, picture cards, some clothes’ models,animal hats

Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Warm up
Greetings:Hello boys and girls, let’s listen to the song.
listen to the letter song, try to sing the song with students together.
Use the clothes’ models to remember the new words of unit 6. Play a match game on the board.
T: who can tell me what is this ?
Ss: A coat
T: Can you come to the board and match the English word to the coat?
T: who can tell me what is this ?
Ss: A T-shirt
T: Can you come to the board and match the English word to the coat?
T: who can tell me what is this ?
Ss: A sweater
T: Can you come to the board and match the English word to the coat?
Step 2: Lead in
Use the clothes’ models ask students : Is this your T-shirt?
Student answer with “yes” or “ no “
Ask students to look at the board, try to answer the question with ” Yes, it is” or “ No, it isn’t”.
T: Is this your sweater ?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: Is this your coat?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: Is this your pen? (use students’ pens)
Ss: Yes, it is.
T: Is this your book? (use students’ books)
Ss: Yes, it is.
Step 3: presentation
Play on the CD, let students listen and watch the fun story twice.
Ask students few questions.
What did monkey say?(in 1st picture)
(2) Is this monkey’s T-shirt? (in 2nd picture)
(3) Is this monkey’s sweater? (in 3rd picture)
(4) Is this monkey’s coat? (in 4th picture)
3. Ask students to read the text and try to read the text in groups.
4. Play on the story again.
Step 4: Explanation and Practice:
Activity 1: Act out the dialogue in groups. Ask students to put on the animal hats and act out the story in the front.
Activity 2: let’s think on page79.
Activity 3: Play a game, look at the picture and guess the number that you like,and make a dialogue according to the picture.
Step 5: Summary:
T: Is this your T-shirt?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T:Is this your coat?
Ss: Yes, it’s.
Step 6: Homework.
listen to the story again at home and tell the story to your family.
