Lesson O Can you fly?
备课思路:该课通过Lele与同伴们的对话,询问能力用语“Can you...?”及其答语“Yes ,I can.”和“No,I can’t.”,询问原因用语“Why?”及其答语“Because....”是本课的重点内容。同时,学生除了学习cook,act,climb和drive几个新的动词外,还要把以往学过的动词运用到询问他人能力的交际活动中。老师应该引导学生正确看待自己和他人的长处及不足,在日常交往中树立自信,积极交流。
教学内容:Magic box.学习词汇cook,act,climb和drive.在此,教师利用动作、图片和游戏的方式教学这些词汇,增加学生的学习兴趣,并加深学生记忆。
Let’s talk。该部分通过模仿小动物,学习询问能力用语“Can you...?”及其答语“Yes ,I can.”和“No,I can’t.”,询问原因用语“Why?”及其答语“Because....”让学生复习并巩固以前学过的动词,做到学以致用。
教学目标:能听、说、认读单词cook,act,climb,drive,why和because;做到发音准确、语调自然;能用“Can you...?”询问能力和用“Why?”询问原因;能听懂、会说本课对话,并能大胆进行表演,要求发音准确,语调自然流畅;通过图片、游戏、表演等培养学生的模仿及表演能力,激发学生学习英语的热情和兴趣。
教学重难点:本课词汇及其正确发音,特别是act,climb和drive的发音;句型“Can you...?”及应答;用“Why?”问原因,并能用because进行回答;灵活运用所学知识进行交流。
教学准备:本课的单词卡片;前面所学动词卡片;猴子、小鸟、兔子、蛇等图片;点读机和PPT等。
教学过程:
Step1 Organize teaching and lead in. (组织教学复习引入)
Greeting each other and free talk.(问候和自由交谈)
Review the verbs by TPR.(通过全身反应法,复习前面所学动词。)
Make a chant and ask Ss to chant together.(用所学的动词编韵律诗,要求学生一起有节奏地读,让学生提前感知can表能力的用法)
Step2 Learn the new words in magic box.(学习魔法盒里的新词汇。)
First use PPT to show the word “book”ask Ss to read it,then change “b”to “c”,lead Ss to read “cook”,read the word one by one.Use “I can” to make sentences(运用PPT出示单词“book”请学生读,并改变首字母引导学生学习新词“cook”,抽学生用开火车的方式读单词。让学生用I can 造句)
Use TPR to teach “drive”,show the picture and ask Ss “Do you know what means?”Let each group to read the word.The teacher pay attention to check Ss’ pronounce.(用全身反应法和自然拼读法教学单词drive,请小组读教师注意正音。)
Use real things to teach the word “climb”. Show PPT and ask Ss “Can you climb?” Try to use“Yes, I can./No, I can’t.”to answer.
Use picture to teach “act”, ask Ss to use different voice to read the word.
Ss work in groups to learn the new words and ask some Ss to be little teacher.
Ask Ss to match the words and pictures, then ask“Can you...?”At last finish the book on P38.
Step 3 Learn the text.(课文学习)
Ss learn the text by themselves and answer the questions.
What animals can you see?
Who can fly?
Who can’t fly?
Listen to the tape and repeat.
Work in groups and role play the text.
Look at the blackboard and recited the text.
Ask each group to make their own conversation.and act out.
