Unit 5 Can you tell me the way to the supermarket?
单元总目标
本单元重点谈论关于问路的话题，并进一步学习如歌使用一些表示方位的介词描述物体所在的位置，与学生的日常生活紧密联系。
第4单元的教学可分为4个课时。具体课时分配情况见下表：

具体目标
在本单元教学中，教师可通过各种教学手段，引导学生并帮助学生学得、习得语言，能够在语境中理解重点词汇并进一步学习如何使用方位介词来描述物体的所在位置，能够在情境中运用本单元的核心句型问路并尝试给别人指路。并且能达到以下知识目标和情感目标。
知识目标
一、能听、说、读、写以下词汇：
way, supermarket, beside, behind, between, Children’s park, take a bus, get off, along, on the left
能听懂、会说、会读、会用下到句型：
1. Is there a supermarket near here?
2. Can you tell me the way to the supermarket, then?
3. Go along the street and you can see a hospital on the left.
4. The supermarket is beside it.
5. How can we get to the Children’s Park?
6. There is a shop between the school and the park.
情感目标
1.通过学习，在迷路或不知道路的情况下，能运用所学知识解决实际问题。
2.通过小组合作、角色扮演等方式学习和运用问路和指路的句型。

二、探究新知(New Presentation)
（一）、新知
1、先出示准备好的图片讲解单词supermarket, beside, behind, between, Children’s Park, take a bus, get off the bus，老师领读。
2、学生跟老师一起看图片,边做动作边说单词。
3、教师读单词,学生跟读单词并指出图片。
4、再次?，利用开火车的方式认读单词。
5、开展争当小老师活动，看谁愿意主动来教单词。对于读得好的奖励小礼物。
6、出示教师有图形的卡片，学生看图说单词。先齐读，再抽生读。在整个单词教学的过程中都要注意正音。
（二）、展示表演：师生互动。

三、强化训练，当堂达标：
1、利用已所学的知识，编写简单的英语对话，加入本节课的单词和句型。

（一）、新知
1、呈现新对话并老师教读讲解。
Man: Excuse me. Old man: Yes? Can I help you?
Man: Is there a supermarket near here? I want to buy some fruits.
Old man: Yes.
Man: Can you tell me the way to the supermarket, then?
Old man: Go along the street and you can see a hospital on the left. The supermarket is behind it.
Man: Thank you. Old man: You are welcome.
2、学生跟读对话。
3、老师扮演Old man:,学生扮演Man，和学生做对话，分角色朗读对话。
4、学生分小组表演对话。
5、老师示范如何问路。(利用所学重点单词和句型，教师指导。)
（二）、展示表演：师生互动。

师生互相问候。之后，教师借助教室的物品和学生所在的位置设计师生对话，复现有关方位介词，引导学生观察并回答： T: Excuse me!

T: Where is Li Lei?
Ss: He is behind...He is between...and...He is beside...
（二）、教学过程

1、这是一个幽默故事。Mr Brown很累，他想在车里休息一会，可不停地有人敲车窗问去超市的路，使得他没法休息，因此他想出一招：在他的车前玻璃上贴了 “我不知道去超市的路”。没想到这样还是不得安宁，他的纸条又引得一位热心的老太太前来叫醒他，并告诉他怎么去超市。
2、教师随机挑选学生回答问题，了解故事大意后，让学生四人一组分角色表演故事，并提醒他们注意人们的表情和运气。
3.Read and complete the map.
Our house is on Furong Street. Beside it, there is a supermarket. Neat the bus stop, you can see a bookstore. There is a school between the bookstore and the park.
