教材分析
Unit4的主题是“Enjoying a birthday ”围绕生日展开,Lesson 3 “When is your birthday?”谈论的是询问生日,学习的任务是如何询问他人的生日及回答。
学情分析
主要针对四年级学生,有一定的英语基础,且求知欲较强,在新知识的教学过程中,教师尽可能的利用新旧结合,创设情景等方法,给学生充分的学习机会,让学生大胆说,认真听,积极实践,形成自主学习的能力。
教学目标
1. 能利用重点句型 “--When is your birthday ?” “--It’s in +月份./--My birthday is in +月份.”进行交流。
2.能在情境中利用句型提问并回答。
3.激发学生的兴趣,培养他们的自信心和自主能力及实际交流的能力。
教学要点
1.教学重点:句型“When is your birthday ? ”及回答。
2.教学难点:如何询问他人的生日及怎么表达“我的生日在....月”。

Step 1 Greeting
T: Class begin.
S:Good morning ,teacher .
T:Good morning ,class .Sit down,please.
T: How are you ?
S:I抦 fine ,thank you .And you ?
T: I抦 fine too.Before our class,let抯 review the 12months.Look at the power point,and read them one by one.
S:揓anuary ,February,March,April .........
Play a game (眼疾手快)
T: Whose birthdays are in September ?Put your hands up ,and come here.
S:Say “happy birthday” and sing “birthday song to them .”
Step2 Presentation
T: Their birthdays are in September.When is your birthday ?(板书课题)And the answers are “It’s in +月份./My birthday is in +月份.” (read after teacher)
Teacher asks three students when their birthdays are.
Students talk with their partner about their birthday.(2 min)
T:Now let’s listen to the let’s talk.Then tell me what can you hear ?
S:Birthday .
Listen sentence by sentence , teacher explains some key points and answer the questions.
Listen and read.
Step 3 Practice
T:Now let’s play .I am Lisa ,you are Tingting.(Teacher-Students)
S:OK.
T:Give you three minutes ,you and your partner prepare the dialogue ,then let’s act.

根据let’s talk , 改编一组新的对话。
