Unit 1 Lesson 2 Is This Your Pencil? 教案
教学内容
本单元围绕着“Is this your pencil?”这一主题开展听、说、读、写等多种教学活动，其教学核心是“确认物主”。通过本单元的教学，学生学会辨认物品的所有者，学会根据场景询问物品的所属，以及英语中对应的表达法。教师应着力培养学生在日常交际中有效地使用语言进行表达，与他人沟通，为今后的学习奠定坚实的语言基础。
教学目标
知识目标：1、学习并掌握指示代词: this/that；
2、学习What引导的特殊疑问句；
3、学会Yes/No问句及其简单回答。
语言目标：
1. What’s this in English?
It’s a pencil.
2. Is this/that your pencil?
Yes. it is. It’s my pencil.
No. it isn’t. It’s her/his pencil.
3. How do you spell pencil? P-E-N-C-I-L
能力目标：
1、能辨认物品的所有者；
2、根据不同场景,能用英语对物品的所属进行提问和回答；
3、能识别不同句式的语句(陈述句,疑问句)；
4、培养学生听、说、读、写的能力及创新思维能力。
情感目标：
通过开展小组活动,指导学生积极与他人合作,相互学习、相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。
教学重点
1、词汇：pencil, pen, book , eraser, ruler, notebook, ring, key, pencil case, backpack, baseball, watch
2、掌握指示代词this/that的用法；
3、掌握特殊疑问句和Yes/No问句及其简单回答。
教学难点
句型 “Is this/that …? Yes/ No, it is/isn’t”
教具
多媒体，学习用品实物。
教学过程
课前准备：收集一些学生的学习用具。
T stands for teacher, Ss stands for students.
Step I New words
1.Show and learn our school things. 利用幻灯片展示各种学习用具的图片，学习这些用具的英文名称。(What’s this in English? It’s a/an …)
2.朗读P7-1a中的新单词。（先是全班，然后分小组检查、补漏）
让学生完成1a中的match, 然后请同学说出他/她的answer, 再由老师订正答案。
3.老师拿着各种学习用具实物，问学生：“What’s this in English?” The Ss answer “It’s a/an …”。以此来加强学生对生单词的记忆。
4.听录音，完成P8-2a的听力练习，订正答案。再次加强学生对新单词的记忆。
Step II Presentation(介绍)
1.利用多媒体给学生展示P7-1a的图片，同时播放录音，让学生熟悉图中的对话。
2.再次播放录音，让学生完成P7-1b的练习，订正答案。
3.引入句型 “Is this…?Yes/ No, it is/isn’t.”（利用实物引入句型，使用不同人的物品来引入形容词性物主代词和名词的搭配的用法。）

S1: No, it isn’t. It’s your pen.
T: (Hold the student’s pen.) Is this your pen?
S1: Yes, it is. It’s my pen.
T :( Hold a girl’s pen.) Is this your pen?
S1: No, it isn’t. It’s her pen.
T :( Hold a boy’s pen.) Is this your pen?
S1: No, it isn’t. It’s his pen.
T: Thank you.
4.引入句型 “Is that …? Yes/ No, it is/isn’t.”（利用教师所站位置的不同来引入指示代词that的用法，并从位置关系上让学生准确理解this ，that的区别。）
T: Is that my book?
(Put the teacher’s book on the teacher’s table so that the Ss can see it clearly, and the teacher stands a little far from the table.)
S2: Yes, it is .It’s your book.
T: Is that your book?
(Put a boy’s book on the table and the teacher in the same place.)
S2: No, it isn’t. It’s his book.
T: Is that your book?
(Put a girl’s book on the table and the teacher in the same place.)
S2: No, it isn’t. It’s her book.
5.分组进行自由对话练习。
随机抽几个小组当着全班同学进行对话表演。
Step III Listening
1.听P8-2b 中的对话2遍，并完成练习。
T: Now please listen to the three conversations, the first time you only listen. Then I play again. And this time you listen and finish 2b.
2.订正答案并再次播放对话，使学生再次熟悉对话。
让学生利用2c中的图片进行同桌间的对话。使学生能熟练使用“What’s this/that ? It’s a/an...”和“Is that/this...”句型。
Step IV Games
规则：将学生的一些物品收集上来，放在一个箱子里，请一个学生上前来，蒙上眼睛，从箱子里取出一样物品，全班学生一同发问，“What’s this in English?” 这名学生猜，使用句型 “Is this a/an…?”。猜到之后，全班同学问“How do you spell it?”这名同学回答，然后回座位。每位学生有两次机会猜，猜中则视为成功。
Step V Practice
Excuse me, is this your dictionary?

And that is_______?（她的）eraser.
Step VI Summary（编一个Chant，便于学生进一步识记本节课所学的重点词汇和语言项目。注意应强调Chant 的节奏和一般疑问句的语调。）
Chant:
T: In this class, we have learned the names of some common personal possessions and how to identify ownership. Let’s learn to say this chant. （这节课我们学习了一些日常用具的名称，并学习了怎样去确认物主关系。现在我们一起来学习下面这首歌。）
Is this my book? Yes, it is.
Is that your ruler? No, it isn’t.
Is this her pencil? Yes, it is.
Is that his eraser? No, it isn’t.
