让学生说说在数学里我们怎样读三位数的数字,通过此引出英文三位数字的读法:按照数字的顺序,先读百位上的数,是几就读几,在数字几的后面加上单“hundred和
and”,
然后再读几十几。
教师出示多个三位数字,请学生读出来。
注意:百位和十们之间加and,十位上是零时用and做连接。
2.
四位数的读法
同样的方法请学生总结规律:用“thousand”
表示千,它的前面是基数。用“hundred”
表示百,前面也是基数,在百位和十位之间用“and”
连,当百位、十位上是零时也用“and”
连。

出示地图,找到两个城市(北京、唐山)Ask:How
