一、教学目标
1、会用功能句子What is your dream? I want to be a scientist.来表达自己的梦想;
2、体会 study hard, from now on,come true等短语的含义。
3、鼓励学生敢于说出自己的梦想并为之付出努力。
二、教学重难点
重点:会用功能句子What is your dream? I want to be a scientist.来表达自己的梦想。
难点:利用功能句畅想梦想并结合已有知识经验阐述原因以及为之付出努力。
三、教学准备
Let’s talk 部分视频材料、马丁路德金《I have a dream》的演讲视频片段、便利贴(彩色最佳)、PPT。
四、教学过程
1、Greetings
出示自己的照片,让学生运用所学提出问题。
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, MissLi.
意图:拉近师生距离,彼此熟悉。
2、warming-up
拍手游戏
One, clap your hands once;
Two, clap your hands twice;
Three, clap your hands three times;
Zero, don’t clap your hands.
意图:集中学生注意力,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生兴趣。
3、Leading-In
a、PPT展示学生熟悉的人物(袁隆平、成龙、姚明、韩红、马丁路德金等)引导学生说出他们的职业。
意图:复习以前学过的有关职业的英文表达,为接下来的教学做铺垫。
b、播放马丁路德金《I have a dream》的演讲视频片段,引出本节课的主题:Dream。
c、利用幻灯片播放一些图片(Fly in the sky、Eat delicious food、Much money)用功能句Is it your dream? Yes./No.
意图:感知Dream含义,刺激语言表达。
4、Presentation
a、老师通过幻灯片介绍自己的梦想
When I was 4, I liked singing. I wanted to be a singer. When I was 15, I liked traveling. I wanted to become a tour guide. At the age of 18, I wanted to go to college. Because I wanted to be a teacher. Now, I am a teacher. So, my dream has come true.
意图:1、通过老师叙述自己的梦想引导学生想想自己的梦想并表达。
2、引导学生用I want to be a/an...表达自己的梦想。
3、初步体会come true.的含义。
b、说出你的梦想
T: What is your dream? I want to be a scientist.
S1: I want to be a scientist.
S2: I want to be a teacher.
S3: I want to be a doctor.
......
c、Let’s talk 部分学习
Step1、 播放Let’s talk 部分视频材料,初步感知。
Listen to the dialogue then answer my questions.
T: What are they talking about?
Ss: They are talking about their dreams.
Step2、再次播放视频
T:What is Wu Chen’s Dream? What was her father’s dream?
S1: She wants to be a scientist.
S2: He wanted to be a tour guide.
Step3、 Read the dialogue then fill in the blanks.根据对话内容填空。
Step4、发散思维
T: We know Wu Chen wants to be a scientist. Will it come true?
Wu Chen’s father wanted to be a tour guide. But now he is a worker. Did it come true? Why?小组交流讨论。
意图:发散思维,思考他的梦想为什么没有实现从而体会It’s difficult to come true.以及Study hard from now on then our dream will come true.的道理。
5、Practice
A出示习近平主席的照片引入《中国梦·爱国情》的主题。小组讨论中国梦以及如何实现中国梦?
B畅想梦想
设计一棵Dream Tree让学生把自己的梦想写在便利贴上然后贴在Dream Tree上展示自己的梦想。
意图:畅想梦想,升华学生情感,让孩子明白实现中国梦要从自己做起,激发孩子的爱国情。
