2.理解单词first，并能在句子中使用first.
3.熟练掌握句子How many days are there in a week? -There are seven days in a week.
4.理解东西方文化差异，清楚一周当中的第一天是周日，并会用英语What’s the first day of the week? -It’s Sunday.来进行询问及回答.
学情：
四年级的小学生对英语知识已经有了一定量的储备，具有一定的英语听说读写技能和自主学习能力以及与同伴合作交流的能力。本课出现的句型 How many?...are there in ...? -There are....已经在前几单元学过.教师结合学生已有的英语语言基础，巧设情境，引导他们积极参与课堂语言实践活动，发展综合语言运用能力。同时，教师需要在教学中培养学生的学习兴趣，提高学生在学习中输入和内化语言、重组并输出语言的能力，让学生体验用英语交流、表达的快乐。
重难点：
1.正确听说读写day,Sunday.掌握句型How many days are there in a week? -There are seven days in a week.的用法.

The teacher shows the students a calendar (ppt) to teach the word “ day ,week”. Let the students read in all kinds of ways.
