教学目标
知识与技能
1、通过师生问答情景，学会目标语言：How many days are there in a week? There are seven days in a week.引导学生能够运用目标语言进行问答。并从对一周第一天the first day of the week的问答中，初步了解中西方文化背景差异。
2、在句型操练中认读单词day, week, Sunday,要求学生能够听说读写day和Sunday两个四会单词，提醒学生注意专有名词的书写特点，在四线格上正确书写。
3、巩固How many ...?There are ...目标语言结构，将目标语言的应用扩大到生活当中。

通过教师的教授与学生的学习，培养学生的语言模仿能力和对语言的交流与运用的能力。

教学过程
一、Revision
1、播放课件，让学生迅速说数词，教师要How many...?句型提问并运用Be quick! Answer me! 等简单的词语，使学生在语境中感知词意。
2、教师运用How many...?句型针对教室中的实物进行提问，同时进一步用指令Give me a quick answer ,please.引导学生做出反应。
二、Presentation
1、教师带领学生一边指着周历一边数天数：one day ,two days, three days...seven days,接着教师总结说：Seven days is a week.
2、教师接着说There are seven days in a week.（板书），帮学生理解day 和week（板书）两个单词并拼读练习。教师领读句子：There are seven days in a week.
3、教师进一步提出问题并板书：How many days are there in a week? 引导启发学生说出：There are seven days in a week .
4、用多种形式反复练习对话：How many days are there in a week? There are seven days in a week
5、展开周历。教师问：What’s the first day of the week?学生用汉语回答，教师说：Look, This is a week. This is the first day of the week. (通过用手指示，让学生感知含义)，教师教学单词Sunday（板书）并让学生练习单词。
6、听录音，通过跟读，分角色跟读、小组跟读的等方式模仿对话内容，并进行对话表演。
7、教师示范板书课文的四会单词，要求学生注意观察模仿，并在练习本上练习。
三、practice
1、学唱歌谣，让学生在快乐的氛围中掌握知识，激发学生的参与与表达欲望。
2、滚雪球来练习 How many days are there in a week? What’s the first day of the week?
四、Homework：
1、书写本课单词及句型。
2、熟读课文。
3、运用How many ...句型练习造句。
