Step 1. Warming-up:
Sing a song: Days of the week.
Greet each other and give a quick answer.
T: Today there are many teachers in our class. Welcome to the teachers. How many teachers are there in our class? Let’s count.
Look at the pictures, give me a quick answer, please.
How many students are there ? There are 32 students.
The teacher says “Excellent!” to the class.
Step 2. Presentation
To show a calendar to the children and encourage them to ask
some questions. e. g How many days are there ?
To teach the new words: day week Sunday
Encourage the students to remember and write them .
Play the PPT and encourage the students to listen carefully , to learn the important points:
How many days are there in a week?
What’s the first day of the week? Sunday.
What’s the last day of the week? Saturday.
3. Today, Miss Liu and the students are having an English lesson. Let’s take a look. Listen carefully and tell me what you hear. Encourage the children to say out what they hear.

Passage:
There are seven days in a week. I go to school from Monday to Friday. We have Chinese, Maths, English and PE on Monday. I like English very much. In English classes, we do all kinds of things. We can speak and sing , play and act.
I also like sports. We have PE lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. I like art best. We have art lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday. Maths is the first lesson on Thursday morning, science is the last lesson on Friday afternoon. I like all the teachers. I like my school life.

教学反思:
首先,感谢各位领导给我这样一个学习的机会!
我今天讲的是四年级下册第19课,关于一星期有几天的话题。学习了重点单词:day week Sunday的写法,并且会表达本课的两组重点问答句:How many days are there in a week? 和 What’s the first day of the week ?
热身部分,通过唱歌曲,《Days of the week》营造英语氛围,感知表示星期几的单词。下面我从“六问”来反思这节课。面向全体:课堂提问面向了全体学生,鼓励中等、优、学困生积极地回答问题。问题的难易程度做到了分层提问,通过鼓励的语言激发孩子们全神贯注,积极思考。师生互动:和同学们共同探讨,星期单词的记忆方法和窍门。通过师生间的互相提问,启发学生快速记忆,当堂掌握。
精讲多练:为了让学生能认读本课的重点单词和句型,我通过小游戏What’s missing.连线、选择的活动。让学生达到巩固记忆,做到了学练结合。我采用让学生制作鱼骨图表的活动,来增强学生阅读的兴趣和阅读的能力,以及获取信息的能力。多媒体应用:应用多样,光盘、动画、日历展示。目标达成:基本达到目标,突出本课重、难点。
不足:容量较大,但补充前提要在本节课落实好动基础上,在发音上给予一个示范,有一个学的过程。 语速过快,教学节奏较快,在每个分项上应该有一个高潮和低谷,环环扣的太紧。拓展环节,阅读短文形式好,但难度大,活动形式,是读的落脚点,应放在说上,改成对话形式,提供信息和任务。
