Step 1 Warm—up/ revision:
师生问好。
T：Good morning , boys and girls .
Ss: Good morning , Miss Xu.
2、T：Let's sing the 《Days of the week》song.（播放课件）
3、Free talk :
(1)、What day is today ?
(2)、How's weather today ?
(3)、How many lessons do you have today ?
(4)、How many days are there in a week ?
(5)、What are they ? （播放课件）
(6)、Which day do you like best ?
Step 2 Presentation :
T: I like Saturday and Sunday . Because I can have a good rest . I can go to see a film with my friends . I can sleep for the whole day . So I can enjoy my weekends.
（播放课件）T： Saturday and Sunday is weekend .
教读单词：weekend .
3、On weekends, I usually do a lot of things , so what about you ? What do you usually do on weekends ?（播放课件）
4、教读单词：usually , 并播放课件，usually , 通常，当句子中出现usually这个单词时，表示星期的单词要变成复数形式。如：

5、T：What do you usually do on weekends ？Say it in Chinese ?（生自由说说周末都干什么了？）
6、T: The students＇weekend life is really colourful . Next we should say it in English .

教读单词： theme park 去游乐园：go to the theme park
T: If I ask you “What do you usually do on weekends ?” You can answer “I usually go to the theme park on Saturdays .” 生生练习这个句型。

Step 4 Production:
1、Language use .（语言应用）（播放课件）
师先与学生做一组练习，然后两个人一组做练习。
播放课件，进行教育。
Kids , a happy weekend is a good time to be happy. Please cherish every day at school , cherish every moment with teachers and classmates . Learn by heart , have fun , and enjoy your weekends.
Step 5: For today＇s homework :
课后五个单词一行一汉。
熟练朗读课文并背诵。
用英文跟父母说说自己的周末生活。
教学反思：
本课的短语既多又长，不容易马上记住，所以我编了个小chant, 朗朗上口，让同学们在小组里练习，好多同学读的非常好，在此基础上，让他们听课文朗读，并回答问题，然后跟读，又进行了口语练习。然后在小组里进行句子拓展练习，一环扣一环，非常紧凑，一节课下来，大部分学生能熟练的用本课句型进行语言应用。
