一、导入环节（2分钟）
（一）导入新课，板书课题
导入语：Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn：
Lesson 4 A Visit to Lanzhou
（二）出示学习目标
1.我要掌握本课单词和句型：group, bridge,cross, wide,cheese; go for a walk, take a picture.
2.通过学习，我要学会识记相关短语和专有名词，掌握文明旅游的相关知识。

二、先学环节（15分钟）

1.熟记单词，完成自学检测（1）
2.读课文，完成自学检测(2)和Let’s do it
读课文，找出并翻译下列短语：

三、后教环节（15分钟）

探究一：The group takes a train to Lanzhou. （他们坐火车去兰州。） ?
take a train: 乘火车，也可以说：We go to Lanzhou by train. 类似的表达还有：take a bus, take a taxi.
探究二: Later, they go for a walk along the Yellow River. （之后，他们又在黄河边上散步。）(1) later: 稍后，随后。例：Later this month, we will take a class trip.
(2) go for walk: 散步 例：Let's go for a walk after supper.
(3) the Yellow River: 黄河，也称之为母亲河：the Mother River；在江河、山脉、湖泊、海洋、群岛、海峡、海湾运河前用the。如：长江：the Changjiang River.

探究三:The Silk Road crossed the Yellow River in Lanzhou.（丝绸之路横跨黄河在兰州段。）(1) the Silk Road: 丝绸之路 ?
(2)cross: vt. 穿过，越过，指从物体表面的一侧到另一侧，表示“横穿”，相当于go across. 例：Look left and right before you cross the road.

探究四: Can we take a picture in front of the statue？（我们可以在雕像前面拍照吗？） ? in front of: 在……前面（指不在这一物体的范围内）
in the front of: 在……前面（指在这一物体范围内）
