1. Greetings & Have a dictation.
2.Free-talk:
What day is today?
Where shall we go this weekend?
Shall we...?
Review the words about animals with bomb game/flash cards. Free-talk对上课时内容进行复习回顾,针对本课知识,进行了游戏预设,来复习以前学过的动物单词,为新知学习打基础。
Presentation and
practice Make a situation:
Today is Sunday, shall we go to the zoo?
(Play the video, sing the song )
(1)T: Wow! There are so many animals!
(Show a panda, ask: What’s this?)
(2)And then, show the picture cards about these animals: monkey, bear, tiger, cat, dog.
(3)Ask students to read ans spell the words. And use the words in sentence:
“What’s this in English?”
(1)Show a giraffe far away. Lead-in the sentence: “What’s that in English?” Help students answer.
(2)Show the new words: camel, seal, dolphin, hippo, teach how to read and practice in sentence.
Say a chant:
What’s this in English?
It’s a camel.
What’s that in English?
It’s a hippo.
Then, make a new chant.
5.Listening & Reading time:
Listen and read the dialogues together.
