一、教学目标
1. 能够在情景中运用“How do you come to school?… I usually/often /sometimes come...”询问出行方式并回答。
2. 能够理解并正确运用频率副词usually、sometimes和often。
3. 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
二、教学重点、难点
1. 在情景中恰当运用句型“How do you come to school? I usually/often/sometimes come…”询问出行方式并回答。
2. 正确运用频率副词usually、sometimes和often。
三、教学准备
1.教师准备本课时的音频、视频和教学课件。
2.教师准备好on foot、by bike和by car的单词卡片。 
教学过程
Step 1: Review & Lead in(复习&导入)
1. 旧知复习
(1)学生朗读Unit1 A Let’s talk和B Let’s talk部分。
(2)教师呈现一幅附近区域场所简图,学生两人一组对话练习。示例对话如下:
S1: Where is the bookstore?
S2: It’s next to the post office.
S1: How can I get there?
S2: Go straight. Turn left at the cinema.
2. 新课导入
教师利用课件呈现一张自己骑自行车上班的情景,向学生介绍:I come to school by bike today.并提出问题:How do you come to school?鼓励学生回答。
Step 2: Presentation& Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
1. Let’s try
教师新课导入说完,接着呈现Amy和Mike在学校碰面的图片,交代背景:Amy meets Mike at school.并提问:
Q1: What are they talking about?
Q2: How will they go there?
教师播放录音,学生根据录音内容回答问题并完成Listen and tick or cross.部分的内容。
2. Let’s talk
(1)教师呈现Let’s talk的图片并提出问题,学生根据老师的问题预测对话内容。
T: What are they talking about?
S1: ...
(2)听对话,回答问题
教师播放录音并提出问题,学生听录音,回答问题。
Q1: How does Amy come to school?
She usually comes __________. She sometimes comes__________.
Q2: How does Mike come to school?
He often comes ______________.
Q3: How does Mrs Smith come to school?
She sometimes comes _____________.
She usually comes _______________.
学生通过录音内容得到答案并完成下列表格

(3)根据表格问答
教师扮演记者角色,学生分别扮演Amy、Mike、Mrs Smith, 师生问答练习。
T: How do you come to school, Amy? (并教读这句话)
S1: I usually come to school on foot. I sometimes come to school by bus. (引导学生回答,教读:I usually come to school on foot.)
......
(4)观看课文动画视频,理解文意
教师播放课文动画视频,学生观看视频弄清文意。重点理解下列句子句意:
—How do you come to school?
—Usually, I come on foot./Sometimes I come by bus./I often come by bike.(此处教师引导学生理解三个频率副词的区别)
I usually walk. = I usually go / come on foot.
That’s good exercise.
(5)跟读课文,纠正发音
教师播放课文录音,学生跟读,纠正发音。特别是两个三会单词Mrs和early的发音及意思。
(6)小组合作朗读,分角色展示
小组内分角色熟读课文,然后请几个小组上台展示。
Step 3: Consolidation & Extension(巩固&拓展)
游戏/活动巩固
1.“问不倒”游戏
教师利用课件呈现on foot、by bike、by bus和by car四种出行方式,请四名愿意接受挑战的学生到讲台上,其余学生选择一幅图片提问:How do you come to school? 被提问的学生要根据所指的图片做出回答:I come to school by bus. 能够四次快速正确回答提问的学生挑战成功。
2. Do a survey
教师组织学生在四人小组内完成教材第14页的调查任务。请各组组长汇报自己小组的调查情况,如Three students usually come to school by bike. Two students often come to school on foot…
Step 4: Summary(小结)
本课我们重点学习了用句型“How do you come to school? I usually/often/sometimes come…”来询问上学方式及回答。

教学反思
1. 亮点:谈论自己上学的交通方式,贴近学生生活实际,学生乐于运用重点句型操练语言。“问不倒”游戏更能激发学生语言表达的兴趣,更好地巩固了所学语言。
2. 不足之处:对于Mr、Mrs、Miss的发音和意思掌握不准。
