教学导航
一、教学目标
1. 能够在情景中运用句型“What are …’s hobbies? He/ She likes…”谈论某人的爱好。
2. 了解like+ doing表达爱好的用法。
3. 能够理解对话大意,用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。
二、教学重点、难点
1. 在情景中恰当运用句型“What are …’s hobbies? He/ She likes…”谈论某人的爱好。
2. 理解动词第三人称单数reads、likes在句中的用法。
三、教学准备
1.教师准备本课时的音频、视频和教学课件。
2. 教师准备好doing kung fu、 singing和reading stories的词汇卡片。 
教学过程
Step 1: Review & Lead in(复习&导入)
1. 旧知复习
教师用课件呈现动词-ing形式的单词,并和学生一起复习这些动词或动词短语。
2. 新课导入
师生交谈,引入单元话题。In our daily life, we have many friends. How do we make friends? We can make friends online. We call them pen pals. Do you have a pen pal?
Step 2: Presentation & Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
1. Let’s try
教师呈现Peter的头像并介绍说:Peter is Zhang Peng’s pen pal. What are Peter’s hobbies?引导学生进行猜测。教师播放录音,引导学生读题。教师核对答案并总结:Peter is Zhang Peng’s pen pal. He is very tall. He likes basketball.
2. Let’s talk
(1)看图预测对话内容
教师呈现Let’s talk插图,提问:What is Peter doing?学生回答:He’s reading a book.教师反馈:Yes, he likes reading. He has many hobbies.引出hobby这个单词,教师教读,学生跟读,掌握读音并理解单词意思。
(2)听对话,完成练习
教师播放录音,学生听录音后,从下面的方框中选出Peter的爱好。

师生核对答案:reading stories, doing kung fu, swimming, singing。
(3)跟读课文,纠正发音
教师播放课文录音,学生跟读,纠正发音。特别是新词汇pen pal、 hobby、jasmine和idea的读音。
(4)小组合作朗读,分角色展示
小组内分角色熟读课文,然后请几个小组上台展示。
(5)观看课文动画视频,理解文意
教师播放课文动画视频,学生观看视频弄清文意。重点理解下列句子句意:
So sometimes he reads to the cows!
I’m going to teach him the Chinese song “Jasmine Flower”!
Good idea!
He also likes singing. 在此句子中理解also和too的用法区别。

教师组织学生询问彼此的爱好。可先师生示范,然后再要求学生两两对话。
【设计意图】通过这个游戏强化学生对like doing语言形式的认识。
2.调查活动。
(1)教师提问:Who is your best friend? What are his/her hobbies?请学生调查同桌或好朋友的兴趣爱好,然后向全班汇报。调查问题清单如下:
Who is your best friend?
What’s he/she like?
What are his/her hobbies?
(2)两人一组,进行问答练习。
(3)学生汇报示范如下:
Lily has a friend. Her name is Mary. She’s kind and active. She likes singing and watching TV.
Step 4: Summary(小结)
本课通过对话我们重点学习了用句型“What are …’s hobbies? He/ She likes…”谈论某人的爱好。

教学反思
1. 亮点:学生对谈论自己和朋友的爱好感兴趣,因此乐于运用重点句型操练语言。“找朋友”游戏让学生更好地巩固了所学语言,达到教学目的。
2. 不足之处:部分学生对like后面加动词-ing形式没有掌握。
