一、教学目标
1. 学生能够听、说、读、写词组：cooks Chinese food、studies Chinese、does word puzzles和 goes hiking。
2. 能够在语境中正确运用上述词组来谈论他人日常生活。
3. 能够熟练运用句型“Does he/she …? Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.”进行提问并作答。
二、教学重点、难点
能听、说、读、写上述词组，并运用其来描述他人的日常活动。

教师准备本课时的音频、视频、单词卡片和教学课件。
教学过程
Step 1: Review & Lead in（复习&导入）
1. 旧知复习
学生表演B Let’s talk的对话，复习核心词汇和句型。
2. 新课导入
师生问答互动，激活本课时背景知识点。示例对话如下：
T: Do you have a pen pal?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: What’s he like?
S1: He’s tall and thin. And he’s very clever.
T: Does he live in Beijing?
S1: ...
T: ...
Step 2: Presentation & Practice（新课呈现&当堂操练）
1. 词汇整体呈现
教师利用课件介绍：I have a brother. He has many hobbies. Now let’s see these pictures.
分别呈现做中餐、学中文、猜字谜和远足的图片，学习相关的词组（制成相册），并介绍说 cooks Chinese food、studies Chinese、does word puzzles和goes hiking。
2. 跟读词组，掌握读音
整体呈现完本课词组后，教师指着课件上自己的图片提问：What does Miss Zhang often do? 教师通过师生交流巩固词汇studies Chinese、cooks Chinese food、goes hiking和does word puzzles。教师播放录音，学生跟读，模仿词组正确发音。
3. 听录音，给四个词组studies Chinese、cooks Chinese food、goes hiking和does word puzzles用数字编上序号。
4. 听录音，回答问题
教师引导学生看Let’s learn插图并介绍：John and his brother are talking about his pen pal John. 教师提问：What does John’s pen pal often do?学生听录音，根据对话内容找到答案：He studies Chinese.
Step 3: Consolidation & Extension（巩固&拓展）
1. Listen, match and say
（1）教师播放录音，学生根据听力连线，教师核对答案。
（2）根据示例，两人一组，然后进行交谈。
2. Do a survey
完成下面的调查表，然后用下面的句型两人一组进行对话。最后每个人选出自己调查表中的一位，进行描述。

Step 4: Summary（小结）
本课我们重点学习了词组cooks Chinese food、studies Chinese、does word puzzles和goes hiking, 同时，学会了在情景中运用句型“Does he / she …? Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.”询问他人的日常活动。
Step 5: Test（当堂微测）
根据汉语写出相应词组的第三人称单数形式。

教学反思
1. 亮点：大多数学生能听、说、读、写四个词组，能够运用这些词组在一般疑问句中谈论他人的信息。巩固活动为学生搭建语言平台，学生通过介绍自己的朋友巩固语言。
2. 不足之处：部分学生没有记住新学词组的形，还不能正确默写/听写。特别是在一般疑问句中动词用原形的知识点频频出错。
