4. 能够总结play后接乐器和球类名词时的不同，并完成句子。

1. 学生能够读懂电子邮件的内容，会用“I can ... I can’t ...”描述自己会做或者不会做的事情。
2. 总结play后接乐器和球类名词的基本规则，并学会运用。
三、教学准备
1. 教师准备本课时的音频、视频和教学课件。
2. 教师准备好Robin的头饰。
教学过程
Step 1: Review & Lead in (复习&导入) 1. 旧知复习
（1）快闪：教师利用课件快速闪现本单元所学的单词，让学生在游戏中记忆单词。
（2）才艺秀：教师提问“What can you do?”，学生回答，如有可现场展示的表演，如dance、
sing English songs、do kung fu、draw pictures等，可以再问学生“Can you show it for us?”，然后让学生展示。
2. 新课导入
教师呈现Robin的图片，提问“What can Robin do? Do you want a robot?”引入新课。
Step 2: Presentation & Practice (新课呈现&当堂操练) 1. 新知呈现
（1）头脑风暴：围绕机器人的话题展开讨论“What can he do?”。
（2）学生阅读邮件内容，找出有关描述Robin的性格、能力等的句子并画线。
（3）学生再次阅读，完成判断句子正误的活动，然后小组内核对答案。
（4）教师播放录音，学生跟读，然后学生分小组朗读邮件。
2. Let’s check
（1）Listen and tick or cross.
①教师让学生观察表格内容，推测录音内容。
②教师播放录音，学生根据录音内容，在表格中相应位置打勾或打叉，然后核对答案。
（2）Fill in the blank.
①教师引导学生根据表格内容进行复述，如“John can ... Zhang Peng can ...”，找出John和Zhang Peng可以一起做的事情“Zhang Peng and John can play ping-pong together.”。
②教师再次播放录音，学生核对答案，检查拼写是否正确。
3. Let’s wrap it up
（1）教师利用课件呈现打篮球、踢足球、打乒乓球的图片，让学生说出相应的词组，然后教师利用课件呈现这三个词组：play basketball、play football、play ping-pong。教师利用课件呈现弹琵琶、拉二胡、弹钢琴的图片，让学生说出相应的词组，然后教师利用课件呈现这三个词组：play the pipa、play the erhu、play the piano。?????
（2）教师让学生观察黑板上的这两组短语，发现它们的区别：第一组球类名词前没有加the，第二组乐器名词前加the。
Step 3: Consolidation & Extension (巩固&拓展) 找朋友：学生4人进行问答。示例如下：
（一）
S1: I can dance. Can you? S2: No, I can’t.
S1: Sorry, you aren’t my friend.
S1: I can dance. Can you? S3: Yes, I can.
S1: Good, you’re my friend.
（二）
S1: I can’t do kung fu. Can you help me? S2: No, I can’t.
S1: Sorry, you aren’t my friend.
S1: I can’t do kung fu. Can you help me? S3: Yes, I can.
S1: Good, you’re my friend.
Step 4: Summary (小结) 本节课通过邮件学习了Robin会做或不会做的事情，让学生在读电子邮件的过程中复习了本单元的词汇及句型，还总结了play后接乐器与球类名词的基本规则。
