一、教学目标

三、教学准备
1. 教师准备本课时的音频、视频和教学课件。
2. 教师准备好Zhang Peng、Mike和Sarah的头饰。
教学过程
Step 1: Review & Lead in (复习&导入) 1. 旧知复习
教师利用课件呈现一幅客厅的图片，让学生运用所学句型描述一下卧室里有哪些物品。
S1: What’s in the living room? S2: There is a/an ...
2. 新课导入
教师进行情境提问“How many desks do we have?”，引导学生作出回答，然后教师说“Yes, there is/are ... desk(s) in our classroom.”并板书“There is/are…”；教师继续提问“How many chairs do we have?”，引导学生用“There is/are ...”作出回答；教师可以继续追问“How many lights do we have?”，让学生进行练习，以此引入新课。
Step 2: Presentation & Practice (新课呈现&当堂操练) 1. Let’s try
（1）教师引入“There are many things in the bedroom. What about the living room?”，引导学生使用“There is/are …”说一说客厅里经常摆放的物品，为听力做准备。
（2）教师播放录音，学生根据录音内容选出正确的答案。教师再次播放录音，核对答案。
2. Let’s talk
（1）教师利用课件呈现Let’s talk部分的图片，学生观察图片内容，用“There is/are …”描述所看到的物品。
（2）教师播放课文动画，学生通过观看视频了解对话大意。
（3）教师播放课文录音，学生听完录音后回答以下问题，教师核对答案。
①Are there any pictures in Zhang Peng’s living room?
②Who draws the pictures?
③Whose plants are they?
④Where is the garden?
（4）教师利用课件呈现一张爷爷、一张奶奶和一张爷爷奶奶的照片，同时呈现单词grandfather、grandmother和grandparents，让学生理解grandparents的意思，板书并领读；教师利用课件呈现一张爸妈的卧室的图片，指着上面的人物说“This is her bedroom. This is his bedroom. This is their bedroom.”，引导学生理解their的意思，板书并领读；教师利用课件呈现一幅气球满天飞的图片，说“There are many balloons. There are so many balloons. There are lots of balloons. There are a lot of balloons.”，引导学生理解so many、lots of和a lot of的意思，板书并领读，并告诉学生a lot of就相当于lots of。
（5）教师再次播放录音，学生跟读。教师对重点词汇、语音和语调加以强调，让学生规范朗读。
（6）分角色朗读对话：教师让三名学生分别戴上头饰，一个扮演Zhang Peng，一个扮演Mike，另一个扮演Sarah，分角色朗读对话，做好示范。然后让学生三人一组，分角色表演对话，并上台表演。
Step 3: Consolidation & Extension (巩固&拓展) （1）教师利用课件呈现下列句子让学生观察，引导学生发现“There be ...”句型中be动词的用法。
There is a big bed.
There is a nice photo.
There are so many pictures here.
There are so many plants here, too.??
教师总结：在There be句型中，be动词的单复数由be动词后名词的单复数决定。
（2）教师利用课件呈现两幅房间的图片，让学生俩人一组进行描述。
S1: Look at the picture. What’s in the room?
S2:There is/are …
Step 4: Summary (小结) 本课我们重点学习了用句型“There is/are …”来描述房间里的物品，还总结了There be句型中be动词的用法。
