目标 1、 Aims on the knowledge.
(1) To master the five words ‘sing、dance、read、 write、 speak.’
(2) To understand and used the sentence “ Can you sing and dance?Yes,I can”
(3)To master the pronunciation of ‘Oo’
2、 Aims on the abilities:
(1) To develop the abilities of listening and speaking.
(2) To train the ability of working in groups.
(3) To foster the abilities of communication.
3、 Aims on the emotion.
To foster consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition as well as that of learning from each other.
教学重点 To master the five words and sentence patterns.
教学难点 To understand and used the sentence ‘Can you sing and dance? Yes, I can’.
教学方法 Task- base teaching method
教学媒体 CAI tape recorder
Step1. Warming up and revision (5 minutes) 1. Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
2. Let’s sing the song.
Play the tape. T sings and dances. Ss just listen and feel.
[设计意图] 营造轻松和谐的学习氛围,为新知的学习埋下伏笔
3.Free talk
T: OK, boys and girls, what can you do?
Ss:I can run/walk/jump/swim...
[设计意图] 自由对话,进入角色和状态,为新课学习做铺垫
Step2 Presentation and drill(15 minutes)
T:Wow !You can do so many things. Do you know what I can do. Let me tell you. I can sing
and dance. Can you sing and dance?
S1:Yes,I can.(Act it)
T:Super!
2.(1)Teach the words:sing、dance (1)Ss read and follow the teacher
(2)Ss read in groups
(3)Ss read them one by one
(4)Ss practice:
“Can you...?”“Yes,I can”
[设计意图] 通过感受歌曲和自由对话为铺垫,很自然的过渡到了新知
T: I can sing and dance. And I can speak English,too. Can you speak English?
Ss:Yes,I can.
[设计意图] 通过朗读和书写句型巩固新知
(1)Teach the phrase :speak English
(Emphasis the pronunciation of the word“speak”)
(2)Ss read in different ways and make sentences
[设计意图] 以不同的视角揭示新词,联系学生实际,学生自然接受新知
5. T: You are so great!Now everybody, please guess what else I can do。
(1)T does action ,and Ss guess it.
(2)The same way to teach “read” and do practice
(3)Ss read and practice
[设计意图]每个新词的呈现都以不同的形式,避免方法单一,枯燥乏味,反之,能增添学生学习的欲望,寓教于乐
6.(1)T writes the sentence:“Can you sing and dance?” and “Yes ,I can.” on the blackboard T: Now boys and girls, please guess, what I can do?
(2) Teach the word“write” and do practice(Emphasis the silent letter“w”)
(3) Ss read and practice
7. T: Boys and girls ,I can write, I think you can and you can do it better. Yes?Let’s write the sentence 3 times. OK?
Ss write the sentence.

8. T:Everybody, today I bring you a new friend here. He is a robot. Let’s listen to the
and answer the questions:
(1). What can he do?
(2). Can he swim?
Ss listen to the tape and answer the questions
[设计意图]创设一个情景,作为正文的过渡,通过问题的导入,将学生带入情境中去,并以此来培养学生听音,理解课文的能力
9. Read and act the dialogue.
10.(1)T shows the animals(CAI):fox dog sitting in the box
Let’s find the pronunciation of letter Oo (Write the phonetic symbol on the blackboard)
(2)Ss look ,find and read.
(3)More examples:Some other words including the letter Oo(e.g. box ,lot, hot ,not,…)
11. Ss Listen to the tape and read after it.
[设计意图] 通过课件唤醒学生注意,使枯燥的语音形象化,生动化通过用眼看和动脑找,举例说使知识层次化和系统化
Step3 Practice(15 minutes)
1. Listen and do(someone does the action,the others guess)
The teacher shows a picture, chooses a student to do the action, then others guess.
2. Game time.(stick a picture on a student’s back, then ask and answer questions )
The teacher describes a job. Students guess what the job is.
3.Say the rhythm(have a competition of saying “The dog and the fox are eating hot dogs on the box” .Award somebody who is perfect.
[设计意图] 通过各种活动,使学习更加趣味化,在丰富课堂气氛的同时,有效的巩固了知识的重难点
Step 4 Consolidation(5 minutes)
1.Change each sentence into a Yes-or-No question.
e.g. I can swim. → Can you swim?
I can read and write.→ ----------------------?
I can sing and dance.→-------------------------?
I can speak English.→ --------------------------?
2.T:Each of us has his own talent, like singing ,dancing, writing and so on Let’s make a survey. (Tick the item you are good at and say I can ….)
