①the writing point of the pen“笔尖”。
②remain in touch with“与……
③make a thick,dark line“写出来的字线条又粗又黑”。

①owe...to...“把……
②couldn’t have been more...
I’ve discovered I possess a large number of different talents and skills that I never would have thought were within me had it not been for my being open to trying new opportunities.
had it not been for...是if it had not been for... I never would have thought是插入语。

(2)30、36和38题也很容易做错,就是因为不懂得这些搭配:move up“晋升,升迁”,be open to“乐于,愿意”,achieve one’s goal“实现目标”。

29.A.asked B.intended C.pretended D.agreed

答案:B
30.A.solution B.change C.bite D.surprise
31.A.concerns B.interests
C.conversations D.emotions
A.关心;B.利益;D.情感。
答案:C
32.A.participated in B.worked out
C.approved of D.made up
解析:第五段列举了一个少年,根据他说的话“Talking about drugs”,他应该是第一批参加钓鱼活动的,所以选A. participate in参加;work out理解;approve of同意;make up组成;编造。

答案:D
35.A.team B.school C.family D.community
