Lesson1 I’m from China.
【教学目标】
1.知识目标
(1) 能听、说、认读国家词汇:China, India, Australia, Canada
(2) 能听、说、运用句型:Where are you from? I’m from______.
(3)能结合插图理解故事的关于来自哪个国家的主要内容。
(4)能朗读部分故事人物的对话
2.技能目标
能够用所学句型询问别人、说明自己的籍贯或者国籍。
3.情感目标
能辨认不同国家的国旗,产生了解不同国家的兴趣。
能看到自己和别人的优点,增进同学情谊
【教学重难点】
1.熟练运用Where are you from? I’m from_______.
2.所学单词China,Canada,Australia,from的准确读音的操练。

自制课件,教学卡片,人物头套
【教学过程】
Step 1. Warming up
1.Greeting & Self-introduction
2.Guessing game: What animal is it?- elephant, panda, kangaroo.
3.Watch a video: What animals can you see? (lion-play the guitar. Turtle -dance)
T: They are so smart, they抮e all talent. Do you know where it is? Yes ,it抯 a show. A talent show. And today we抮e going to learn the Unit8 Talent show(教具课题词板)(分音节带读,check)
(设计意图:问候及guessing game、观看影片环节目的是将学生注意力引回课堂,拉近师生心理距离,做好课前准备。根据小学生好奇心强这一特点设置猜猜猜游戏,自然过度到课题,并为后续教学做好铺垫。)
Step2. Story-learning
T: Look. There is a talent show in china. Guess what animals will come to the show?→Please open the books ,read the story by yourselves.(学生阅读故事后回答问题)Now let’s watch the video, please pay attention to their names,and where they are from.
(设计意图:通过设问和预测,增加学生好奇心和对故事的兴趣,在完整了解故事情节后回答,有助于培养学生捕获信息的能力。)
T:Let’s welcome the first player.(掌声) who is it? Say hello` (Bear says..)带读并呈现句型Where are you from.听 (I’m from India )(课件教授India)(音频 how old are you?)(I’m fifteen, and I’m a good dancer)(呈现句型全班跟读)Elly is a…(动作)(课件dancer图,带读&action)
总结Elly 信息,(I’m Bobby, you’re Ms. Elly问答)呈现句型,词板图片粘贴黑板。
T: Mr. Kango is the second player. Say hello!听 Mr. Kango is a …(动作)描述Kando(课件boxer 图)stand up and show me boxing.(u’re good boxers.带读)跟读Mr. Kango is a boxer.(音频where are u from?)who can be Bobby? (设计意图:播放动画录音,引导学生跟读和模仿,有助于培养学生认真倾听、快速捕捉声音的能力。将故事分段重现于课堂中,并让学生模仿表演,符合小学生活泼好动的性情,使其更好地理解感受故事情节。)
T: The show is over. The players are wonderful. Please listen, follow, and imitate.
T:Now please read the story in your group. One for Bobby, one for Elly. One for Pandy , and one for Kango.
T:It’s our show time. ( 课件显示头像+台词)做示范: I’m Bobby,who can be Elly?请学生分别扮演Bobby两个和Kango, Pandy.
T:Who do you like? Let me hear you!
总结:Our friends are talent. Where are they from? Elly/ Kango/Pandy is from…
(设计意图:在多次接触体验后,让学生分组完成对话并表演呈现故事,为学生提供表现的机会,增加其学习英语的热情。并在与同学的互动中,增进友谊。)
Step4.Practice: Listening&speaking
1. T: Our friends are here. Who are they? They are from different countries. This is China.(老师引导学生描述图片,复习巩固学过的国家,并呈现新国家)教授Canada, US, UK.(比较UK和Australia)
2. T: Now look at your books. let’s listen where they are from then do some matching.
3. Check the answer(请学生上台配对)
4. Listen and repeat(视时间情况调整)
5. T: Children’s Day is coming. Many friends will come to the show. Suppose you are from different countries. Look at the paper on your desk. (课件举例讲解示范) I’m from India/Australia/ China
And each group has a registrar. You may ask some questions. Such as…(读句型板) (老师与一位学生进行示范)now let’s practice it. You have 2 minutes. Go!
4. T: You’ve done the good job. Please show me the form next class.
(设计意图:设置情景,让学生在生动有趣的情境下理解并正确使用“Where are you from? I’m from…”等询问和说明国籍的表达方法,达到语言正确输出,锻炼其听说能力,突破重难点。 )
Step5.Summary
T:Today we have learned some countries: what are they?(课件国旗+单词汇总) Kangoo, Elly, Pandy ,you and me, we are part of a big family. Everyone has its strong points, and remember don’t ask a lady her age if it’s not necessary. It’s not polite.(课件显示中英文进行情感教育)
(设计意图:引导学生对本节课知识进行汇总,有助于其学习策略的培养。并在此进行情感教育,增进学生对中外不同文化的了解和热爱,增加学生对自己和同学的了解,增强自己心。)
