Step1. Warm-up and preparation
1.Greeting between teacher and students and also between students.
2.Game time
Encourage students to find a friend in the class and greet to him/her with the new pattern we learnt.
Step2. Presentation
Listen and Number
1. Show the pics on page 6 and ask: Do you still remember them? What is their names?
2.Then play the CD and finish the task
3. Encourage Ss to play the role and do the self-introduction.
Game time
explain the game rules to the Ss and play the games with students. Encourage Ss to use the new pattern:I抦 xx/ My name is XXX
Show time
Play CD and review the whole story with students and invite them to act out the stories.

Read and explain the pattern on blackboard and let the students summary the usage of each pattern and explain to students that the difference of what’s and what is.
Step3. Summary and Evaluation
Ask students to have a simple summary about what have learnt today.
