I. Contents:
Today I’m going to talk about Lesson 11 Shopping in Beijing of Unit 2,Book 6.
II. Analysis of the students
五年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础,学生有一定的语言组织能力,课堂上能够进行角色表演并自编对话。
III. Teaching aims:
1. Aims on the knowledge

(1) To develop students abilities of listening and speaking.
(2) To train the students ability of working in groups.

(2) Have fun in English learning.

VIII. Teaching Procedure:
Step 1:Warm-up .
Activity1: Greetings.
Activity2:Guess a riddle.
(设计意图: 谜语导入,激发学生学习兴趣。)
Step 2: Presentation of the new concept.
Activity1: Lead in.
Show a clock and ask “What time is it?” Choose the students to
answer.
(设计意图:在课件上操作表针变换时间,带给学生新奇的感受乐于练习句子。)
Activity2: Ask and answer in pairs.
Activity3: Show their dialogues.
(设计意图:小组活动意在人人参与,每个人都有机会说英语,选同学上台也用到班级优化大师的随机抽,让学生注意力高度集中。)
Activity4: Show pictures and ask “What time is it?” guide the students to guess “Where are Danny, Jenny, Li Ming and Mrs Li?” “What are they doing?”
(设计意图:以时间提问主人公的动向,很自然地过渡到本课的主题:购物。)
Step 3: Practice.
Activity1: Listen and fill in the blanks.
Activity2: Choose the students to answer and practice in groups with
the sentence “Jenny buys ____ for_____.”
(设计意图:锻炼学生听力的同时教学生有目的地提取有效信息并在组内练习强化重点句。)
Activity3: Show a picture , “Look ,they are tired.” Ask “What time is it?”
Then guess “Where is Danny?” “What is Danny doing now ?”
Activity4:Show pictures and ask “What does Danny buy?” Then watch the video.
(设计意图:动画效果可以激发学生的学习兴趣,并为学生们的创新表演做铺垫。)
Step 4: Show.
Activity1: “They buy their favourite gifts .Do you want to go shopping?” Show a picture of the supermarket and encourage their innovation to make dialogues.
Activity2:Show their dialogues .
(设计意图:调动学生的积极性和参与热情,乐于展示,更好地理解运用所学知识。)
Step 5: Homework.
Make a story with the sentences.
Make a shopping list and make a dialogue.
Practice the sentences.
( 设计意图:让学生们根据自己的程度选择自己喜欢的练习方式更有助于激发学生的学习兴趣。)

教学反思:
这堂课我主要围绕教学重点“What time is it ?It’s ______.
Jenny buys ___ for ____.”展开活动和练习。练习问时间主要用到了钟表,无论是课件上的“指针转动”还是学生手中的钟表学具,都是为了让学生融入情境并在小组中更好地进行对话练习。但由于学生对白板操作不够熟练,所以选同学操作课件要少一点,而更多地是操作他们手中的学具。选同学回答问题或表演我用到了班级优化大师,随机抽取学生,这个学生们特别感兴趣,但也有个弊端,这样并不是每个小组都能做到机会均等,所以课堂上还是需要老师的调控。对话表演一直都是英语课堂上的亮点,在表演对话时我给出提示语句是为了照顾部分不擅长表演的同学,我还是希望大部分同学能够创造性地编对话。
