教材分析 本节课内容是冀教版七年级英语下册Unit 3 School Life----- Lesson 16 We Are with You 第一课时,本课的主要内容是Jason Glen 和他的家人在开学第一天家里的一场大火中失去了一切,同学和老师们听到这个消息后,主动要求帮助Jason和他的家人,通过筹钱,从家里拿衣服和食物帮助Jason。通过本节课学习,让学生掌握重点词汇及短语的用法,并且培养学生互帮互助的精神。
学情分析 根据七年级下学生的年龄特征和知识掌握程度(不规则动词过去式),应该以学生为主体,教师为主导进行上课,对于学习程度较差的学生,应该以掌握基础单词和简单句型为主,对程度好点的学生,应该以英语语言交际方面的运用为主。
学习 目标 知识目标:

导入新课 Step 1:Lead-in
Show a video about a big house fire. Ask students to express what they can see after watching it.
Show Ss a picture about a boy to lead in to the main character of the passage.
A boy called Jason Glen lost everything in the big house fire. Let抯 learn more about him. Turn to page 40. Enjoy the video and express what they can see in the video.
Guess why the boy is unhappy and crying.
让学生观看火灾视频,进入情境,了解火灾的危害及。
讲授新课 Step 2:Learn new words
1.Teach students to read the new words correctly. Match each word with its meaning.
2.Show the pictures of the words and phrases. Let students understand the meaning of the words and phrases.
3.Play a game called Words Down to consolidate the new words and phrases.
Step 3: Listening
Let students listen to the tape, then match each paragraph with its main idea.
Reading strategy : The main idea is often the first sentence or the last sentence.
Step 4:Careful reading
Read para.1 and fill in the table.
Ss answer the questions and the teacher write them on the blackboard.
Read para.2 &3 and finish the mind map.
Read para.4 and fill in the blanks.
Step 5:Practice
Retell the story according to the mind map.
1. Discuss in groups for preparing.
2. Act out in the front of the classroom.
3. Retell the passage together.
Step 6:Test
Do some exercises and check the answer one by one.
Step 7:Writing
Show some pictures about how students help their classmates. Ask students to write down what they did to help others in their daily lives. And then put the paper on the blackboard.

Write what you did for them on the paper.
Watch a video to know more about how to help others.
Step8:Summary+Homework
1. Learn the vocabulary and the phrases by heart.
2. Make a poster about how to help others. Guess the meaning of each word and try to memorize the words.
Look at the pictures of the phrases.
Play a game and test how many new words they have learned
Listen to the passage carefully, choose the main idea of the passage.
Read the first paragraph together and fill in the table.
Play roles to read and finish the mind map.
Read the fourth paragraph together and fill in the blanks.
Retell the story and two of them act out in the front of the classroom.
Do some exercises and remember the key phrases.
Write down what they did to help others and put them on the blackboard.
Watch a video and read the sentences.

Put on the paper on the blackboard around the shape of the heart. 分层推进,逐步展示心形辐射,传递爱心。
课堂小结 用火灾视频导入新课,引出文本主线。在词汇教学阶段,通过英英释义、图片、情景教学的方式讲解词义,帮忙学生摆脱在记忆词义时,对汉语的过分依靠,使他们把英语单词和其所指的事物、情景联系起来,以加深记忆。这样,学生就能够从英语单词的语音、拼写、好处等几个方面用心地吸收词汇,从而到达掌握词汇的目的。而游戏操练,使学生词汇学习有趣,更扎实有效。在短语知识点教授阶段,以例句、词义辨析等方法,让学生充分理解知识点的意义和用法。在情感目标方面,通过板书爱心辐射设计,视频营造氛围,让学生深切体会生活中,和同学团结友爱,互帮互助。本课不足之处在于留给学生互动和口头训练的时间不多;重点词汇happen讲解和练习未涉及。
