a moment ago 意为 “刚才”,相当于just now。ago意为 “以前”,应放在表示一段时间的短语之后。如: half a year ago 半年前

1) 句子6.4读作 six point four.
2) 英语中表达长宽高,常先说数字,再说单位,而表示长宽高的形容词放在最后。如:

use… for/to… 意为 “用……做……” for后常接名词和动名词,而to后接动词原形。

通常表示过去发生的而现在已经结束的事件, 动作或情况。动词用其过去式。我们主要讲述系动词be的过去时。
1. 肯定句
主语 + was/were +其它。 如:
I was born in China.

主语+was/were +not +其它。
I wasn’t here yesterday.

简略回答: Yes, 主语+was/were.

【精彩点拨】 动词be的过去式是was和were。当表示过去含义的句子的主语是第一人称单数或第三人称单数时,要用was;其余人称都用were。含was / were 的一般疑问句,要把was / were提到主语之前;它们的否定形式是在was和were后加not(缩写为wasn’t或weren’t)。如:
Were you born in Beijing 你出生于北京吗?
They weren’t busy yesterday. 他们昨天不忙。
2. 【课本要点】 —What’s the date today 今天几号?—It’s May 8th. (Section B) 五月八号。

【精彩点拨】 buy为及物动词,后可接双宾语,即表物的宾语(直接宾语)和表人的宾语(间接宾语)。常见句型是:buy sth. for sb. = buy sb. sth.。如:
I would like to buy a pen for Kangkang. = I would like to buy Kangkang a pen. 我想给康康买支钢笔。
注意: buy后接表示物的宾语,若为人称代词,只能用buy sth. for sb.句型。如:

Unit 7有错必纠(一)
1. 【病历单】 I am born in 1998.
【诊断书】 出生的时候是在1998年,不是现在,时间是过去的,所以这个句子要用过去时态, am 改为was。又如:I was at home yesterday.。
2. 【病历单】 He came here on August, 1986.
【诊断书】 在英语中,表示具体的日期要用介词on。表示月份要用介词in。也就是说在年、月的前面,要用介词in。
3. 【病历单】 Can I to have a look
【诊断书】 应该把to have改为have。因为can是情态动词,后接动词原形,而不是动词不定式。
4. 【病历单】 What does it like (它像什么?)
【诊断书】like意为“像什么”时,是介词,其前面应该用动词be。如:He is like his father. 他像他爸爸。而你把它用作了动词,like作动词用时,意为“喜欢”。助动词应用do或者does。如:What do you like 你喜欢什么?

【诊断书】 would like是一个词组,意为“想要”,用法与want相近,后面接动词不定式,不接动名词。

【诊断书】“第十二层楼”表示的是顺序,应用序数词,故12应改为12th。
7. 【病历单】 He planned celebrating his birthday.

英文日期分英式和美式,如下: 1) 8th March, 2004 或8 March, 2004(英式) 即日、月、年 2) March 8th, 2004 或March 8, 2004 (美式)即月、日、年 关于日期的写法,应注意以下几点: ①年份必须完全写明,不可用“04”代替2004; ②月份必须用英文拼出或采用公认的简写,即 January (Jan.), February (Feb.), March (Mar.), April (Apr.), May, June (Jun.), July (Jul.), August (Aug.), September (Sept.), October (Oct.), November (Nov.), December (Dec.);
③写日期时,可用基数词1,2,3,4,5,……28,29,30,31等,也可用序数词 lst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, ……28th, 29th, 30th, 31st等。但最好用基数词,简单明了。

1. 可以根据句子前后一致性来判断。句子中若有两个或两个以上的动词,前后动作有承接或并列关系时,若其中一个动词用的是一般过去时。那么,其余的动词时态也要用一般过去时。如:

can与could的“能力”差异
can与could是情态动词,都具有“能;会”的含义,在句中不能单独作谓语,后接动词原形,与动词一起构成谓语。但它们又有各自使用的场合。
A. can的领地
1. can的各种句式:
can可以用于否定句中,否定形式为can’t或cannot。如:
My sister can’t play the guitar. 我妹妹不会弹吉他。
can也可用于一般疑问句中,且位于主语前面,其肯定回答为:Yes, 主语 + can.;否定回答为:No, 主语 + can’t.。如:
—Can he drive a car 他会开车吗?
—Yes, he can. / No, he can’t. 是的,他会。/ 不,他不会。
当然也可用Sure / Certainly / Of course作肯定回答,语气更肯定;用sorry作否定回答,语气更委婉、客气。如:
—Can you swim 你会游泳吗?
—Sure. / Of course I can. 当然会啦。/ Sorry, I can’t. 对不起,我不会。
B. could的领地
could表示过去的能力,意为“能;会”,常与过去时间状语连用。如: yesterday, three days ago, last week等或与when引导的过去时态的句子连用。可用于肯定句、否定句、疑问句中,其否定形式为couldn’t。如:
Could you perform ballet last year 你去年会跳芭蕾舞吗?
She couldn’t ride a bike when she was seven. 她七岁时不会骑自行车。
could在口语中表示一种委婉客气的语气,不表示过去时。回答此类问句,习惯用can,而不用could。如:
