教学目标
1. 知识目标
1)能听懂、会说、会读对话中出现的 “hold on、cleaning the room、writing an email、washing the clothes”等词组。
2)能听懂、会读、会说对话中出现的“What are you doing? I'm cleaning the room. Dad is writing an email on the computer. Mum is washing the clothes.”等句型。

能运用“What … doing?句型描述图片中的人物正在干什么,并展开对话。

【导入】Step 1. Warm up and revision 热身复习
1)出示学过的几个动词和词组,师生一起朗读并做动作。

复习巩固学过的动词或词组,为接下来知识的学习做好储备。
2)演唱歌曲

活跃气氛,且歌曲内容与本课所学知识相关,为学习新课做好铺垫。
【讲授】Step 2. Presentation 教授新知
1. 教学“What are you doing?”句型。(注:教师的英语名字是Walter。)
T: Listen, boys and girls. The telephone is ringing.(课件播放电话铃响。)
T: (接电话,做惊讶状。) Hold on, please.(出示hold on 词组卡片。教师领读,学生操练。)
T: The call is from the White House. Mr Obama wants to talk to me.(课件出示白宫以及Obama打电话图片。)
(播放Obama打电话录像,与教师展开如下对话:)
Obama:This is Obama speaking. Can I speak to Walter?
T: This is Walter speaking.
Obama: Are you coming here with your friends this Saturday?
T: I’m sorry. I can’t. I’m very busy.
Obama: What are you doing now?
T: I’m having my English lesson.
Obama: That’s great. Goodbye.
T: Bye-bye.
学生们扮演奥巴马与教师练习如上对话。
师生进行如下问答:
T: What are you doing?
S1: I’m having my English lesson.
T: Please practise in pairs.
学生两两操练。
[设计意图]
通过创设与Obama打电话这一情景,教学句型“What are you doing?”。在此
过程中。学生不是简单机械的学习,而是在真实的语境中操练,巩固新句型。同时巧妙地利用师生正在上英语课展开问答,学生很自然的明白了“What are you doing?”的意思。
2. 教学词组 cleaning the room,writing an email,washing the clothes。
课件出示Harry打电话场景。
T: Look at the picture boys and girls, what is he doing?
Ss: He is calling someone. (课件出示句子 He is calling someone.)
T: Listen, what is he saying? (播放课件视频,学生模仿,出示单词busy的解释)

通过课件为学生展示原汁原味的英语打电话场景,并从句型“What are you doing?”向“What is he doing?”过渡。为接下来操练词组以及最后的创编新对话做好准备。
T: (课件出示句子 “Lily is busy. ”以及Lily打扫屋子图片) This is lily. Lily is busy. What is she doing? (课件出示句子“She’s cleaning the room?”。)
Ss: She is cleaning the room.
师生展开如下对话:
T: Lily is busy. What is she doing?
S1: She’s cleaning the room.
T: Now you ask one of your classmates. (引导学生提问其他同学。)(教师板书“cleaning the room?”。)
课件出示爸爸在电脑上写邮件图片。
T: Look at the picture. (课件出示“Dad is… . What is he …?”。)
Ss: Dad is busy. What is he doing?
T: He’s writing an email. (课件出示句子,教师领读,板书“writing an email”。)
学生两两操练以上对话。
课件出示妈妈洗衣服图片。
T: Mum is washing the clothes.(教师领读,板书“washing the clothes”。)
课件出示如下内容:

[设计意图]?
? 借助课件图片学习词组简单明了,把所学词组放在句子中,逐步撤除语言脚手架,引导学生以填空的形式操练,实现语言的内化,尽量弱化教师的作用。学生通过与同伴合作完成词组的学习。
3.学习课文文本内容
T: Lily is calling. Whom is she calling? Let’s listen. (播放无字课文视频。学生回答问题。)
S1: She is calling her grandpa.
再次播放课文无字视频,学生回答问题。
T: What are they talking about? Listen again and answer my questions.
? a. What is lily’s dad doing?
? b. What is Lily’s mum doing?
S1: Dad is writing an email on the computer.
S2: Mum is washing the clothes.
[设计意图]
? 两次听录音回答问题的任务,引导学生听录音获取课文信息,问题难度逐渐增加,帮助学生深入理解对话。
T: Now, please listen and repeat. (课件出示带文字课文视频,引导学生逐句跟读并纠正学生的发音。)
??【练习】Step 3. Practice 操练巩固
1. 教师领读课文,学生跟读。
T: Boys and girls, please follow me to read the dialogue.
Ss: OK.
2. 学生小组操练课文,教师进组指导。
3. 使用道具电话表演课文内容。
邀请两名同学,一名扮演aunt,一名扮演grandpa,教师扮演lily,开展本课对话,其他学生观看,并根据教师与其他两位同学的示范在小组中进行表演。

? 模拟课文中的情景,学生小组合作本课,加深对课文文本内容的理解。
【练习】Step 4. Production 拓展延伸
根据图片创编新对话。课件出示六幅图片,学生两人一组,任选一幅,根据提示创编新对话。教师进组指导。学生前台进行表演。
[设计意图]
学生利用已有的知识,结合本课所学现在进行时,两人一组进行创编新对话。培养学生综合语言运用的能力。
