第二部分阅读(共两节,满分50分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分,
满分37.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
To
many
people,
honey
bees
symbolize
development,
sustainability
(可持续性)
and
environmentalism.
But
as
a
honey
bee
researcher,
I
have
to
tell
you
that
only
the
first
item
on
that
list
is
reasonable.
Although
they
are
important
for
agriculture,
honey
bees
also
damage
natural
ecosystems
by
competing
with
native
bees
—
some
of
which
are
species
at
risk.
The
rise
in
honey
beekeeping,
now
a
popular
activity
for
hundreds
of
thousands
of
Americans,
followed
strong
awareness
campaigns
to
“save
the
bees.”
But
as
a
species,
honey
bees
are
least
in
need
of
saving.
Media
attention
unfairly
covers
them
over
native
bees,
and
vague
messaging
has
led
many
citizens
—
myself
once
included
—
to
believe
they
are
doing
a
good
thing
for
the
environment
by
putting
on
a
beekeeper’s
veil.
Unfortunately,
they
are
probably
doing
more
harm
than
good.
“Beekeeping
is
for
people;
it’s
not
a
conservation
practice,”
says
Sheila
Colla,
an
assistant
professor
and
conservation
biologist
at
Toronto’s
York
University,
Canada.
“People
mistakenly
think
keeping
honey
bees,
or
helping
honey
bees,
is
somehow
helping
the
native
bees,
which
are
at
risk
of
extinction.”
She
is
frustrated
the
ones
in
more
neon
on
saving
honey
bees
when,
from
a
conservationist’s
point
of
view,
native
bees
are
the
ones
in
more
need
of
support.
For
some
reason,
maybe
because
they
are
small,
honey
bees
are
not
generally
viewed
as
the
massively
distributed
livestock
animal
that
they
are.
There
are
millions
of
honey
bee
colonies
in
North
America,
2.8
million
of
which
are
in
the
U.S.
Approximating
around
30,000
bees
per
colony
(the
size
of
a
pollination
unit),
that’s
roughly
a
billion
honey
bees
in
Canada
and
the
U.S.
alone
—
almost
triple
the
number
of
people.
High
densities
of
honey
bee
colonies
increase
competition
between
native
bees,
putting
even
more
pressure
on
the
wild
species
that
are
already
in
decline.
I
used
to
believe
that
honey
bees
were
a
gateway
species,
and
that
concern
over
their
health
and
development
would
spill
over
onto
native
bees,
benefitting
them,
too.
While
this
may
have
happened
in
some
cases,
evidence
is
increasing
that
misguided
enthusiasm
for
honey
bees
has
likely
been
to
the
native
bees’
damage.
Beekeeping
doesn’t
make
me
feel
good,
anymore.
In
fact,
quite
the
opposite.
21.
What
makes
bee
keeping
gain
great
popularity
among
Americans?
A.
Several
campaigns
have
been
launched
to
advocate
bee
saving.
B.
Citizens
believe
native
bees
are
no
longer
in
need
of
protection.
C.
Little
importance
are
attached
to
protecting
the
environment.
D.
Citizens
hope
to
make
a
fortune
from
the
bee
keeping
business.
22.
What
is
the
Colla’s
possible
attitude
towards
the
beekeeping?
A.
Objective.
B.
Unfavorable.
C.
Supportive.
D.
Neutral.
23.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
The
author’s
attitude
towards
the
beekeeping
has
changed.
B.
People’s
enthusiasm
for
keeping
honey
bees
is
increasing.
C.
In
some
cases
evidence
has
proved
honey
bees
are
in
danger.
D.
Keeping
native
bees
is
of
great
benefit
to
people’s
health.
B
Do
you
think
you’re
smarter
than
your
parents
and
grandparents?
According
to
James
Flynn,
a
professor
at
a
New
Zealand
university,
you
are!
Over
the
course
of
the
last
century,
people
who
have
taken
IQ
tests
have
gotten
increasingly
better
scores---on
average,
three
points
better
for
every
decade
that
has
passed.
This
improvement
is
known
as
“the
Flynn
effect”,
and
scientists
want
to
know
what
is
behind
it.
IQ
tests
and
other
similar
tests
are
designed
to
measure
general
intelligence
rather
than
knowledge.
Flynn
knew
that
intelligence
is
partly
inherited
from
our
parents
and
partly
the
result
of
our
environment
and
experiences,
but
the
improvement
in
test
scores
was
happening
too
quickly
to
be
explained
by
heredity.
So
what
was
happening
in
the
20th
century
that
was
helping
people
achieve
higher
scores
on
intelligence
tests?
Scientists
have
proposed
several
explanations
for
the
Flynn
effect.
Some
suggest
that
the
improved
test
scores
simply
reflect
an
increased
exposure
to
tests
in
general.
Because
we
take
so
many
tests,
we
learn
test-taking
techniques
that
help
us
perform
better
on
any
test.
Others
have
pointed
to
better
nutrition
since
it
results
in
babies
being
born
larger,
healthier,
and
with
more
brain
development
than
in
the
past.
Another
possible
explanation
is
a
change
in
educational
styles,
with
teachers
encouraging
children
to
learn
by
discovering
things
for
themselves
rather
than
just
memorizing
information.
This
could
prepare
people
to
do
the
kind
of
problem
solving
that
intelligence
tests
require.
Flynn
limited
the
possible
explanations
when
he
looked
carefully
at
the
test
data
and
discovered
that
the
improvement
in
scores
was
only
on
certain
parts
of
the
IQ
test.
Test-takers
didn’t
do
better
on
the
arithmetic
or
vocabulary
sections
of
the
test;
they
did
better
on
sections
that
required
a
special
kind
of
reasoning
and
problem
solving.
For
example,
one
part
of
the
test
shows
a
set
of
abstract
shapes,
and
test-takers
must
look
for
patterns
and
connections
between
them
and
decide
which
shape
should
be
added
to
the
set.
According
to
Flynn,
this
visual
intelligence
improves
as
the
amount
of
technology
in
our
lives
increases.
Every
time
you
play
a
computer
game
or
figure
out
how
to
program
a
new
cell
phone,
you
are
exercising
exactly
the
kind
of
thinking
and
problem
solving
that
helps
you
do
well
on
one
kind
of
intelligence
test.
So
are
you
really
smarter
than
your
parents?
In
one
very
specific
way,
you
may
be.
24.
The
Flynn
effect
is
______.
A.
not
connected
to
our
experiences
B.
unknown
in
some
parts
of
the
world
C.
an
increase
in
IQ
test
scores
over
time
D
used
to
measure
people’s
intelligence
25.
According
to
the
article,
newer
educational
techniques
include
__
.
A.
improving
test
scores
B
exposure
to
many
tests
C.
memorizing
information
D.
children
finding
things
out
themselves
26.
Why
does
the
author
mention
computer
games?
A.
To
encourage
the
reader
to
do
more
exercise
instead
of
playing
games.
B.
To
explain
why
more
and
more
young
people
have
poor
vocabularies.
C.
To
give
an
example
of
technology
improving
our
visual
intelligence.
D.
To
show
the
fact
that
young
people
are
not
getting
more
intelligent.
27.
Which
statement
would
Professor
Flynn
agree
with?
A.
People
today
are
taking
easier
tests.
B.
People

La
Belle
Personne
is
boring,
but
I
love
it.
The
2008
French
film
features
extremely
softened
and
washed-out
colors,
a
relatively
uneventful
plotline,
and
lifeless
performances
from
the
main
characters,
all
of
which
give
the
film
its
unique
charm.
The
plain
beauty
of
La
Belle
Personne
comes
not
from
its
extremely
unique
plot,
but
rather
its
literary
elements.
Of
course,
the
film
is
visually
pretty
lacking
in
liveliness.
An
editor
must
have
purposely
and
smartly
dealt
with
every
single
shot.
The
dominating
colors
in
each
of
these
shots
are
a
vivid
black,
grey
and
white,
making
for
a
melancholic(忧郁的)atmosphere.
While
one
could
easily
view
this
lack
of
vividness
as
exhausting,I
would
argue
that
it
makes
for
a
beautifully
unconventional
cinematic
experience.
There
are
no
artificial
mental
spark
stimulated
by
the
visuals,
and
the
viewers
must
therefore
sit
with
themselves
for
an
hour
and
a
half,
reflecting
on
what
the
piece
personally
means
to
them
and
how
it
genuinely
makes
them
feel.
Aside
from
a
few
major
plot
points,
nothing
terribly
remarkable
happens
in
La
Belle
Personne.
It's
more
like
a
lazy
river
under
grey
skies
where
the
water
is
slightly
too
cold.
But
if
you
relax,
your
body
temperature
adjusts
and
you
can
sit
back
and
just
enjoy
the
ride.
Although
our
current
world
may
be
both
literally
and
symbolically
on
fire,
it's
no
secret
that
campus
life
in
and
of
itself
is
considerably
more
boring
than
usual.
With
no
parties
to
attend,
most
classes
online,
and
the
majority
of
clubs
limited
to
Zoom
Meetings,
waking
up
every
day
might
feel
a
bit
more
tedious.
However,
just
like
La
Belle
Personne
has
shown
us,
it's
important
to
appreciate
your
environment
for
what
it
is.
In
terms
of
campus
life,
sometimes
it's
not
so
horrible
for
things
to
be
slow-paced,
as
it
allows
space
for
reflection
and
being
present.
28.
What
do
we
know
about
La
Belle
Personne
from
the
first
paragraph?
A.
It
enjoys
high
popularity.
B.
It
owns
special
artistic
charm.
C.
It
applies
modern
techniques.
D.
It
features
lively
performances.
29.
What
can
we
infer
from
Paragraphs
2
and
3
about
the
film?
A.
All
its
viewers
feel
positive
on
it.
B.
It
gives
viewers
a
sense
of
ridiculousness.
C.
It
suits
those
preferring
sensory
stimulation.
D.
It
is
worth
tasting
slowly
and
heart-wholly.
30.
What
does
underlined
word
“tedious"
in
the
last
paragraph
probably
mean?
A.
Boring.
B.
Painstaking.
C.
Impractical.
D.
Unnecessary.
31.
What
is
the
purpose
of
this
text?
A.
To
show
the
importance
of
going
to
the
movies.
B.
To
recommend
people
to
enjoy
an
unique
movie.
C.
To
introduce
a
way
to
appreciate
a
certain
movie.
D.
To
call
for
a
slow-paced
and
positive
school
life.
D
As
has
been
all
too
apparent
in
recent
days
at
Balcombe,
few
issues
cause
greater
concern
than
energy
policy.
Many
village
communities
feel
their
countryside
is
being
ruined
by
the
power-producing
machines
of
wind
farms;
yet
they
never
take
“
direct
action”,
even
though
the
planning
laws
put
them
at
a
severe
disadvantage.
And
the
generous
subsidies(财政补贴),which
encourage
the
expansion
of
wind
power,
are
not
favorable
to
the
village
communities
and
set
landowners
in
conflict
with
other
residents.
Those
who
disagree
with
the
rapid
expansion
of
wind
farms
state
that
the
damage
they
cause
is
out
of
proportion
to
the
benefits
they
bring,
because
their
energy
output
cannot
match
that
of
the
carbon-based
power
stations
they
are
supposed
to
replace.
Supporters
insist
that
wind
must
be
part
of
a
mix
of
renewables,
nuclear
and
carbon,
and
that
the
country
is
committed
to
meeting
EU(European
Union)
targets
for
non-carbon
energy
generation.
Against
this
background,
the
fact
that
there
is
an
argument
within
the
Government
over
whether
to
publish
an
official
report
on
wind
farms
impact
on
the
countryside
becomes
even
more
extraordinary.
The
two
parties
in
the
coalition
government
are
in
disagreement
over
what
it
should
say.
We
have
some
advice
for
the
two
parties
:publish
the
report
,and
let
the
country
be
the
judge.
Even
if
it
contains
evidence
that
wind
farms
are
harmful,
it
will
hardly
be
a
pleasant
surprise
to
people
who
do
not
like
them.
Equally,
supporters
must
argue
their
case
by
acknowledging
the
concerns
and
explaining
why
they
are
either
misplaced
or
worthy
of
much
attention.
The
suggestion
that
further
negotiations
are
to
take
place
to
produce
an
“acceptable”
report
suggests
that
the
politics
of
coalition
government
are
doing
the
country
harm
in
a
certain
way.
Given
the
sensitivities
involved
,all
the
information
should
be
available
so
that
people
can
reach
their
own
conclusions,
rather
than
being
left
with
the
suspicion
that
facts
are
being
replaced
by
political
beliefs.

When
you
have
got
a
lot
of
stuff,decluttering(整理)your
home
can
be
really
necessary.Decluttering
is
just
about
putting
new
systems
into
place
in
your
life.___36___
,you
realize
how
great
you
feel
about
it,and
you
want
to

Getting

gives
you

everything
has
a
home
and
you
know
exactly
where
it
is—you’re
free
to
spend
that
time
on
yourself
and
your
family.
It’s
liberating.
___38___.It
has
taken
you
a
long
time
to
get
everything,and
you
won’t
be
able
to
get

pushed
for
time,there
are
easy
ways
of
introducing
decluttering

10
minutes
a
day
decluttering
or,if
that’s
not
manageable,declutter
three
items
a

Have
three
piles:one
for
things
you’re
going
to
keep,one
for
things
that
are

one
for
things
you’re
going

up
saying,actually,I
don’t
need

Stay
focused.People
often
get
sidetracked
when
they’re
trying
to
declutter.They
start
trying
on
clothes
they
had
forgotten
about,or
looking
at
old
photos.Another
common
mistake
is
to
just
move
things
from
place
to
place,instead
of
getting
rid
of
them.___40___
.
A.
Once
you
start
decluttering
B.
You
need
time
to
reflect
on
what
to
keep
C.
Don’t
expect
to
declutter

D.
When

第三部分语言运用(共三节,满分40分)
第一节(共15小题;每题1分,满分15分)
阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
“Don’t
get
sick
in
July!”
This
is
a
common
concern
in
teaching
hospitals
in
the
U.S.
It’s
driven
by
the
academic
calendar:
July
is
when
the
new
interns,
fresh
out
of
medical
school,
start
work.
In
other
words,
it’s
when
everyone
is
most
____41____.
The
theory
is
that
this
disadvantage
leads
to
mistakes.
So
is
medical
experience
good
or
bad?
Well,
in
most
cases,
your
doctor’s
experience
is
very
helpful,
allowing
her
to
pick
up
on
a(n)
____42____
symptom
early
in
a
disease
process,
when
machines
still
can’t
take
a
hand.
She
can
also
determine
the
right
treatment
when
your
condition
falls
outside
of
what
is
in
the
____43____,
where
newbies
get
most
of
their
ideas.
For
many
medical
treatments,
there’s
a
direct
connection
between
physician
experience
and
your
treating
outcome.
In
a
variety
of
situations,
though,
experience
can
backfire.
The
reason
is
simple
____44____.
Doctors
are
humans
too
and
they
____45____
tricks
of
the
mind—like
believing
that
an
ineffective
treatment
really
works.
In
fact,
entire
fields
of
research
are
devoted
to
understanding
why
these
errors
of
thought
occur.
They
____46____
from
so-called
cognitive
prejudice
that
can
mislead
even
____47____
practitioners
into
making
the
wrong
decisions.
Doctors
are
usually
locked
onto
a
diagnosis
early
and
disregard
new
and
____48____
information.
For
example,
a
patient
may
be
diagnosed
with
a
quickly
fatal
cancer,
but
then
ends
up
trying
various
herbal
remedies
and
lives
for
30
more
years.
Instead
of
analyzing
the
____49____
diagnosis,
the
patient,
and
maybe
even
the
doctor,
may
assume
that
the
herbal
remedies
cured
the
cancer.
Also,
some
experienced
doctors
tend
to
believe
evidence
when
it
supports
their
previous
opinion
while
subconsciously
ignoring
information
opposing
it.
Let’s
say
your
doctor
is
pretty
certain
you
have
ill
digestion
and
orders
a
test
to____50____
the
suspicion,
which
produces
negative
result.
But
she
treats
you
for
ill
digestion
anyway
because
she
was
____51____
with
the
prior
diagnosis
by
experience.
In
fact,
there
are
clearly
many
benefits
to
having
a
highly
experienced
doctor,
such
as
technical
proficiency.
But
there
may
actually
be
some
unexpected
benefits
to
having
a
less-experienced
one
too.
She
may
have
a
more
up-to-date
education,
boundless
energy
and
perhaps
is
less
vulnerable
to
biases,
freed
from
the
same
____52____
for
years.
To
safeguard
yourself
as
a
patient,
one
thing
you
should
always
do
is
____53____.
It
may
not
always
be
possible
to
determine
that
your
doctor
has
met
with
an
unconscious
thinking
____54____.
But
asking
questions
does
force
your
doctor
to
think
twice
and
____55____
her
decision
about
your
case.

短文。
Grady
and
his
family
go
camping
every
summer.
As
it
was
becoming
hotter,
here
came
the
camping
time.
Having
planned
the
camp
long,
the
family
finally
decided
the
destination
---
the
Great
National
Forest.
With
food,
necessity
and
cookers
loaded
onto
the
car,
the
family
squeezed
into
the
car.
The
car
door
closed,
heat
was
shut
outside.
In
the
car,
Jared,
Grady's
younger
brother
was
playing
with
a
toy
dinosaur,
making
great
noise.
Grady's
mother
talked
excitedly
with
his
father.
On
settling
in
the
car,
Grady
put
on
the
earphone
and
turned
on
the
music.
He
neither
wanted
to
join
his
brother
nor
joined
any
talk.
After
what
seemed
to
be
hours,
the
car
stopped
where
they
headed.
Grady
threw
down
his
backpack
and
slammed
the
car
door.
“This
will
be
a
lengthy
week,“
he
said
unhappily
to
no
one
in
particular.
He
looked
around
the
campground.
Hundreds
of
tall
and
green
fir
trees,
some
as
tall
as
church
towers,
covered
the
mountainside
like
a
green
carpet.
The
sun
would
be
setting
soon.
Grady
thought
maybe
the
heat
wouldn't
be
unbearable.
But
actually
now
in
the
mountain,
the
hot
stickiness
of
July
was
closely
attached
to
him.
Grady
hated
camping,
but
it
was
something
his
family
stuck
to
every
summer.
His
father
liked
cooking
over
an
open
air,
telling
stories
about
how
to
survive
things
like
bear
attacks
and
bites
of
bees.
His
mother
and
Jared
liked
to
hike
and
take
pictures
of
animals.
Jared
had
a
collection
of
bug
pictures
that
he
had
pinned
to
the
walls
in
his
half
of
their
room.
Grady
thought
they
were
just
scary
and
proof
that
Jared
was
a
strange
kid.
They
set
up
camp
-
two
tents,
one
for
his
parents
and
one
for
himself
and
Jared.
While
everyone
else
started
preparing
dinner,
Grady,
looking
for
some
place
to
cool
down,
set
off
for
the
nearby
stream,
which
was
deep
enough
to
swim
in.
注意:
1.
续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
As
Grady
got

Lisa,
how

W:
Well,
I

most
of
my

I
also
read
newspapers.
Radio

my
last
choice
and
I
seldom

How

M:
I
hardly

I
do

the
Internet.
W:
You

with
the
information
online.
Much
of
it
cannot
be
trusted
at
all.
By
the

what
type
of

are
you

in?
M:
I
mainly
focus
on
sports
news.
What
about
you?
W:
I
enjoy
watching
quite
a
number
of
news
programs
on
TV.
Many
of
them
center
on
business,
art
and
international
politics.
M:
Well,
I
have
a
feeling
that
the
news
reporters
on
TV
usually
say
similar
things
based
on
the
same
information.
And
some
of
the
news
is
very
sad.
W:
I
know
what
you
mean.
But
you
have
to
keep
up
with
what’s
happening
around
the
world,
even
though
it
makes
you
feel
bad
sometimes.

Good
evening,
everyone.
This
is
the
final
team
meeting
before
we
travel
to
Costa
Rica.
I’d
like
to
tell
you
about
the
three
different
projects
that
we’re
running
there.
Before
I
go
on
though,
let
me
tell
you
that
we
will
be
leaving
on
the
6th
of
April
and
we
will
be
coming
back
on
the
20th
instead
of
the
10th
of
July.
I
hope
that
won’t
be
a
problem
for
anyone.
Now,
the
first
project
includes
cleaning
up
the
beaches
in
the
east
of
the
country.
This
is
home
to
some
rare
sea
birds
and
we’re
going
there
to
do
our
best
to
protect
them.
The
second
project
is
in
the
capital,
San
José.
There
we
will
be
working
in
the
national
zoo,
planting
trees
to
improve
the
animal’s
natural
homes.
The
final
project
is
in
one
of
the
national
parks.
This
is
in
an
area
of
rainforest
which
was
destroyed,
and
now
the
Costa
Rican
government
wants
to
bring
new
life
to
it.
We
will
be
planting
trees
and
recording
the
growth
habits
of
the
plants
that
we
find
there.
Okay,
has
anyone
got
any
questions
on
any
of
that?

第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分,
满分37.5分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
To
many
people,
honey
bees
symbolize
development,
sustainability
(可持续性)
and
environmentalism.
But
as
a
honey
bee
researcher,
I
have
to
tell
you
that
only
the
first
item
on
that
list
is
reasonable.
Although
they
are
important
for
agriculture,
honey
bees
also
damage
natural
ecosystems
by
competing
with
native
bees
—
some
of
which
are
species
at
risk.
The
rise
in
honey
beekeeping,
now
a
popular
activity
for
hundreds
of
thousands
of
Americans,
followed
strong
awareness
campaigns
to
“save
the
bees.”
But
as
a
species,
honey
bees
are
least
in
need
of
saving.
Media
attention
unfairly
covers
them
over
native
bees,
and
vague
messaging
has
led
many
citizens
—
myself
once
included
—
to
believe
they
are
doing
a
good
thing
for
the
environment
by
putting
on
a
beekeeper’s
veil.
Unfortunately,
they
are
probably
doing
more
harm
than
good.
“Beekeeping
is
for
people;
it’s
not
a
conservation
practice,”
says
Sheila
Colla,
an
assistant
professor
and
conservation
biologist
at
Toronto’s
York
University,
Canada.
“People
mistakenly
think
keeping
honey
bees,
or
helping
honey
bees,
is
somehow
helping
the
native
bees,
which
are
at
risk
of
extinction.”
She
is
frustrated
the
ones
in
more
neon
on
saving
honey
bees
when,
from
a
conservationist’s
point
of
view,
native
bees
are
the
ones
in
more
need
of
support.
For
some
reason,
maybe
because
they
are
small,
honey
bees
are
not
generally
viewed
as
the
massively
distributed
livestock
animal
that
they
are.
There
are
millions
of
honey
bee
colonies
in
North
America,
2.8
million
of
which
are
in
the
U.S.
Approximating
around
30,000
bees
per
colony
(the
size
of
a
pollination
unit),
that’s
roughly
a
billion
honey
bees
in
Canada
and
the
U.S.
alone
—
almost
triple
the
number
of
people.
High
densities
of
honey
bee
colonies
increase
competition
between
native
bees,
putting
even
more
pressure
on
the
wild
species
that
are
already
in
decline.
I
used
to
believe
that
honey
bees
were
a
gateway
species,
and
that
concern
over
their
health
and
development
would
spill
over
onto
native
bees,
benefitting
them,
too.
While
this
may
have
happened
in
some
cases,
evidence
is
increasing
that
misguided
enthusiasm
for
honey
bees
has
likely
been
to
the
native
bees’
damage.
Beekeeping
doesn’t
make
me
feel
good,
anymore.
In
fact,
quite
the
opposite.
21.
What
makes
bee
keeping
gain
great
popularity
among
Americans?
A.
Several
campaigns
have
been
launched
to
advocate
bee
saving.
B.
Citizens
believe
native
bees
are
no
longer
in
need
of
protection.
C.
Little
importance
are
attached
to
protecting
the
environment.
D.
Citizens
hope
to
make
a
fortune
from
the
bee
keeping
business.
22.
What
is
the
Colla’s
possible
attitude
towards
the
beekeeping?
A.
Objective.
B.
Unfavorable.
C.
Supportive.
D.
Neutral.
23.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
The
author’s
attitude
towards
the
beekeeping
has
changed.
B.
People’s
enthusiasm
for
keeping
honey
bees
is
increasing.
C.
In
some
cases
evidence
has
proved
honey
bees
are
in

D.

is
of
great
benefit
to
people’s
health.

Do
you
think
you’re
smarter
than
your
parents
and
grandparents?
According
to
James
Flynn,
a
professor
at
a
New
Zealand
university,
you
are!
Over
the
course
of
the
last
century,
people
who
have
taken
IQ
tests
have
gotten
increasingly
better
scores---on
average,
three
points
better
for
every
decade
that
has
passed.
This
improvement
is
known
as
“the
Flynn
effect”,
and
scientists
want
to
know
what
is
behind
it.
IQ
tests
and
other
similar
tests
are
designed
to
measure
general
intelligence
rather
than
knowledge.
Flynn
knew
that
intelligence
is
partly
inherited
from
our
parents
and
partly
the
result
of
our
environment
and
experiences,
but
the
improvement
in
test
scores
was
happening
too
quickly
to
be
explained
by
heredity.
So
what
was
happening
in
the
20th
century
that
was
helping
people
achieve
higher
scores
on
intelligence
tests?
Scientists
have
proposed
several
explanations
for
the
Flynn
effect.
Some
suggest
that
the
improved
test
scores
simply
reflect
an
increased
exposure
to
tests
in
general.
Because
we
take
so
many
tests,
we
learn
test-taking
techniques
that
help
us
perform
better
on
any
test.
Others
have
pointed
to
better
nutrition
since
it
results
in
babies
being
born
larger,
healthier,
and
with
more
brain
development
than
in
the
past.
Another
possible
explanation
is
a
change
in
educational
styles,
with
teachers
encouraging
children
to
learn
by
discovering
things
for
themselves
rather
than
just
memorizing
information.
This
could
prepare
people
to
do
the
kind
of
problem
solving
that
intelligence
tests
require.
Flynn
limited
the
possible
explanations
when
he
looked
carefully
at
the
test
data
and
discovered
that
the
improvement
in
scores
was
only
on
certain
parts
of
the
IQ
test.
Test-takers
didn’t
do
better
on
the
arithmetic
or
vocabulary
sections
of
the
test;
they
did
better
on
sections
that
required
a
special
kind
of
reasoning
and
problem
solving.
For
example,
one
part
of
the
test
shows
a
set
of
abstract
shapes,
and
test-takers
must
look
for
patterns
and
connections
between
them
and
decide
which
shape
should
be
added
to
the
set.
According
to
Flynn,
this
visual
intelligence
improves
as
the
amount
of
technology
in
our
lives
increases.
Every
time
you
play
a
computer
game
or
figure
out
how
to
program
a
new
cell
phone,
you
are
exercising
exactly
the
kind
of
thinking
and
problem
solving
that
helps
you
do
well
on
one
kind
of
intelligence
test.
So
are
you
really
smarter
than
your
parents?
In
one
very
specific
way,
you
may
be.
24.
The
Flynn
effect
is
______.
A.
not
connected
to
our
experiences
B.
unknown
in
some
parts
of
the
world
C.
an
increase
in

__
.
A.
improving
test
scores
B.
exposure
to
many

C.

D.

26.
Why
does
the

A.
To

our
visual
intelligence.
D.

【点睛】阅读理解题的解题方法,首先,宏观浏览,掌握大意。不要困扰在个别词汇的翻译上,偶有生词,走为上计。其次,读懂题干,带着问题再去微观细读。最后,分析句子,慎思明辨。阅读理解题之细节理解解题要注意:1.排除干扰项,突出主题。2.按文章的体裁,作者写作的组织模式及有关信息,预测应该到何处寻找自己所需要的事实。3.将注意力放在寻找你所需要的细节上,快速浏览。发现细节,放慢速度,仔细核对比较,直到找到正确答案。
C
La
Belle
Personne
is
boring,
but
I
love
it.
The
2008
French
film
features
extremely
softened
and
washed-out
colors,
a
relatively
uneventful
plotline,
and
lifeless
performances
from
the
main
characters,
all
of
which
give
the
film
its
unique
charm.
The
plain
beauty
of
La
Belle
Personne
comes
not
from
its
extremely
unique
plot,
but
rather
its
literary
elements.
Of
course,
the
film
is
visually
pretty
lacking
in
liveliness.
An
editor
must
have
purposely
and
smartly
dealt
with
every
single
shot.
The
dominating
colors
in
each
of
these
shots
are
a
vivid
black,
grey
and
white,
making
for
a
melancholic(忧郁的)atmosphere.
While
one
could
easily
view
this
lack
of
vividness
as
exhausting,I
would
argue
that
it
makes
for
a
beautifully
unconventional
cinematic
experience.
There
are
no
artificial
mental
spark
stimulated
by
the
visuals,
and
the
viewers
must
therefore
sit
with
themselves
for
an
hour
and
a
half,
reflecting
on
what
the
piece
personally
means
to
them
and
how
it
genuinely
makes
them
feel.
Aside
from
a
few
major
plot
points,
nothing
terribly
remarkable
happens
in
La
Belle
Personne.
It's
more
like
a
lazy
river
under
grey
skies
where
the
water
is
slightly
too
cold.
But
if
you
relax,
your
body
temperature
adjusts
and
you
can
sit
back
and
just
enjoy
the
ride.
Although
our
current
world
may
be
both
literally
and
symbolically
on
fire,
it's
no
secret
that
campus
life
in
and
of
itself
is
considerably
more
boring
than
usual.
With
no
parties
to
attend,
most
classes
online,
and
the
majority
of
clubs
limited
to
Zoom
Meetings,
waking
up
every
day
might
feel
a
bit
more
tedious.
However,
just
like
La
Belle
Personne
has
shown
us,
it's
important
to
appreciate
your
environment
for
what
it
is.
In
terms
of
campus
life,
sometimes
it's
not
so
horrible
for
things
to
be
slow-paced,
as
it
allows
space
for
reflection
and
being
present.

can
we
infer
from

the

【分析】本文是一篇夹叙夹议文,作者解析了法国电影《最美丽人》的艺术特点并阐述了自己的观影感受,并以此呼应把生活节奏慢下来,积极乐观面对特殊情况下枯燥无味的校园生活。

D
As
has
been
all
too
apparent
in
recent
days
at
Balcombe
few
issues
cause
greater
concern
than
energy

Many

feel
their

of
wind
farms;
yet
they
never
take
“

even

them

And
the
generous
subsidies(财政补贴),which
encourage
the
expansion
of
wind
power,
are
not
favorable
to
the
village
communities
and
set
landowners
in
conflict
with
other
residents.
Those
who
disagree
with
the
rapid
expansion
of
wind
farms
state
that
the
damage
they
cause
is
out
of
proportion
to
the
benefits
they
bring,
because
their
energy
output
cannot
match
that
of

Supporters
insist
that
wind

renewables,
nuclear
and
carbon,
and
that
the
country
is
committed
to
meeting
EU(European

Against
this

the

there
is
an
argument
within
the
Government
over
whether
to

We

some
advice
for
the

:publish
the

,and
let
the
country
be
the
judge.
Even
if
it
contains
evidence
that
wind
farms
are
harmful,
it
will
hardly
be
a
pleasant
surprise
to
people
who
do
not
like
them.
Equally,
supporters
must
argue
their
case
by
acknowledging
the
concerns
and
explaining
why
they
are
either
misplaced
or
worthy
of
much
attention.
The
suggestion
that
further
negotiations
are
to
take
place
to
produce
an
“acceptable”
report
suggests
that
the
politics
of
coalition
government
are
doing
the
country
harm
in
a
certain
way.
Given
the
sensitivities
involved
,all
the
information

that

第三部分语言运用(共三节,满分40分)
第一节(共15小题;每题1分,满分15分)
阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。
“Don’t
get
sick
in
July!”
This
is
a
common
concern
in
teaching
hospitals
in
the
U.S.
It’s
driven
by
the
academic
calendar:
July
is
when
the
new
interns,
fresh
out
of
medical
school,
start
work.
In
other
words,
it’s
when
everyone
is
most
____41____.
The
theory
is
that
this
disadvantage
leads
to
mistakes.
So
is
medical
experience
good
or
bad?
Well,
in
most
cases,
your
doctor’s
experience
is
very
helpful,
allowing
her
to
pick
up
on
a(n)
____42____
symptom
early
in
a
disease
process,
when
machines
still
can’t
take
a
hand.
She
can
also
determine
the
right
treatment
when
your
condition
falls
outside
of
what
is
in
the
____43____,
where
newbies
get
most
of
their
ideas.
For
many
medical
treatments,
there’s
a
direct
connection
between
physician
experience
and
your
treating
outcome.
In
a
variety
of
situations,
though,
experience
can
backfire.
The
reason
is
simple
____44____.
Doctors
are
humans
too
and
they
____45____
tricks
of
the
mind—like
believing
that
an
ineffective
treatment
really
works.
In
fact,
entire
fields
of
research
are
devoted
to
understanding
why
these
errors
of
thought
occur.
They
____46____
from
so-called
cognitive
prejudice
that
can
mislead
even
____47____
practitioners
into
making
the
wrong
decisions.
Doctors
are
usually
locked
onto
a
diagnosis
early
and
disregard
new
and
____48____
information.
For
example,
a
patient
may
be
diagnosed
with
a
quickly
fatal
cancer,
but
then
ends
up
trying
various
herbal
remedies
and
lives
for
30
more
years.
Instead
of
analyzing
the
____49____
diagnosis,
the
patient,
and
maybe
even
the
doctor,
may
assume
that
the
herbal
remedies
cured
the
cancer.
Also,
some
experienced
doctors
tend
to
believe
evidence
when
it
supports
their
previous
opinion
while
subconsciously
ignoring
information
opposing
it.
Let’s
say
your
doctor
is
pretty
certain
you
have
ill
digestion
and
orders
a
test
to____50____
the
suspicion,
which
produces
negative
result.
But
she
treats
you
for
ill
digestion
anyway
because
she
was
____51____
with
the
prior
diagnosis
by
experience.
In
fact,
there
are
clearly
many
benefits
to
having
a
highly
experienced
doctor,
such
as
technical
proficiency.
But
there
may
actually
be
some
unexpected
benefits
to

【解析】
【分析】本文以人物为线索展开,讲述了格雷迪和他的家人每年夏天都去露营。经过长期的营地计划,这家人最终决定了目的地——大国家森林。格雷迪讨厌野营,帐篷搭好后,当其他人都开始准备晚餐时,格雷迪找了个凉快的地方,向附近的小溪出发,那里足够深,可以游泳。
【详解】1.段落续写:
①由第一段首句内容“格雷迪走近小溪时,一只可爱的小熊引起了他的注意。”可知,第一段可描写格雷迪由于好奇靠近小熊,突然听到有声音。
②由第二段首句内容“他转过身来,看见一只愤怒的熊迅速向他走来。”可知,第二段可描写格雷迪遇到了一只愤怒的大熊后逃生的过程以及获得了爸爸的帮助得救后,对大熊抱住孩子的场景的描述。
2.续写线索:无法抗拒小熊——小熊玩得很开心——小熊聚精会神的玩着——被好奇心驱使,Grady靠近小熊——大熊愤怒地走来——Grady惊得哑口无言——绝望地冲到营地——父亲及时赶来帮忙——为大熊抱住孩子感到惊讶
