remember 为及物动词,意为“ ”,其反义词是 。

【辨析】remember doing与 remember to do
remember doing sth.表示“ ”。动名词doing 具有完成的意义。
e.g:我记得我做了作业了,但现在我找不到了。
remember to do 意为“ ”,不定式to do 表示未完成的动作。
e.g:我记得要打扫教室。
2. And he doesn’t wear glasses.而且他没戴眼镜。
句中作动词意为“ ”(强调状态,可以用于进行时),wear还可以用来表示“佩戴手表、首饰、眼镜等”。

【拓展】”穿”的动作表达法:
⑴ put on 意为“穿,戴”,反义词组是 .用法较广泛,指穿的 ,可用于穿鞋,戴帽,穿衣裳等。
e.g: Please your sweater.请穿上你的毛衣。
⑵dress 意为“穿”,反义词是undress,指动作,宾语人,不是衣服。

3.I don’t think he’s so great.
(1)在含有think,believe等动词的否定句子中,要注意否定 , 翻译时把否定词放在后面的句子中。
I don’t think you’re right.
(不说:我不认为你对。)
(2)句中so 作副词,意为“如此地,这/那么地”,“很,非常”等。后面常跟 词或 词。
e.g:这辆车跑得如此快。
这女孩很漂亮。
4.I can go shopping ,and nobody knows me .
⑴nobody 代词,意为“ ”,作主语时,谓语动词用 数。

四、操练巩固(Practice)
Step 1. Reading (3a)
1. Ask the students to read the passage in 3a, and then answer the following questions:
(1) What did Johnny look like before (Explain in Chinese)
(2) What does he look like now
2. Ask the students to read the passage again and fill in the blanks in the chart.Then ask the students to read the answers.
3. Ask the students to find out the main words and sentences and difficult points.
Step 2. Reading and writing (3b)
1. Let the students read the pictures in 3b and discuss the pictures.
(1) What does the girl look like in the first picture
(2) What about the girl in the second picture
Sample answers:
(1)She is tall and thin. She has long blonde hair.She wears trousers and a T-shirt.
(2)She is tall and thin. She has short blonde hair. She doesn’t wear trousers and T-shirt. She wears shorts and a blouse.
2. Let the students read the passage and fill in the blanks.Check the answers by asking the students to read the completed passage.
3. Ask the students to write something about one of their family members.
Step 3. Game (4)
Let the students read the instructions in 4 and find out how to do the game. Then find out they should do the game in the following way.
1) First draw a picture of a person without letting anyone else see it.
2) Work in groups of four. One of the members describes the person’s looks orally and ask the other students to listen to the description and draw the picture according to it.
3) The groups votes to decide whose picture looks most like the original picture. The student who drew that copy is the winner.
Sample sentences:
I have a friend. She is a beautiful girl. She is tall and a little bit heavy. She has long black hair. She wears glasses. She doesn’t wear jeans. She wears a red skirt and a T-shirt.
Get the other classmates to draw the picture and choose the best one.

1. Ask the students to read the passage in 3a, and then answer the following questions.
T: Good. Last class we listened to something about Johnny Dean. We know he is tall and thin. He has long curly hair. He wears glasses. But what does he look like now Read and find the answers.
Show the following questions.
(1) What did Johnny look like before (Explain in Chinese)

2. Ask the students to read the passage and fill in the blanks in the chart.
