本课是第五单元的第一课时,主要学习Part A的Let's talk和Let's survey环节。Let's talk环节主要通过迈克一家用餐的场景引出本课的核心句型“What's for +三餐名词(breakfast/lunch/supper/dinner)?”“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—I'd like some+食物/饮料名词”,让学生在真实的情景中掌握句型。Let's survey环节则通过调查身边的人的用餐意愿,操练核心句型。
知识目标
1.能够在实际情景中运用句型“What's for +三餐名词(breakfast/lunch/supper/dinner)?”询问某餐吃什么并作答;
2.能够在实际情景中运用句型“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—I'd like some+食物/饮料名词”征求和表达用餐意愿;
3.能够听、说本单元的二会单词:dinner,ready。
能力目标
1.能够理解对话大意,并用正确的语音、语调朗读对话;
2.培养学生灵活运用所学语言的能力。

Step 1:Warm-up
1.跟唱歌曲。
教师播放教材第54页Let's sing环节的英文歌曲What would you like?并用PPT呈现其英文歌词,学生看着歌词跟唱。
通过欢快的音乐,调动课堂气氛,同时让学生初步感知本课的核心句型“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—I'd like some+食物/饮料名词”,为接下来的学习做好铺垫。
2.活动——看图说英文单词。
教师用课件依次呈现面包、果汁、鸡蛋、牛奶、水、蛋糕、鱼肉和米饭的图片,让学生举手说出这些图片中食物或饮料的英文单词,带领学生复习三年级已学的有关饮食的名词:bread,juice,egg,milk,water,cake,fish,rice。
通过呈现图片复习已学单词,抓住学生的注意力,能达到更好的复习效果;此处复习的单词与本课的学习紧密相关,能够自然地引入本课的学习,同时降低学生的学习难度。

·教材意图
本环节旨在学习句型“What's for+三餐名词(breakfast/lunch/supper/dinner)?”“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—I'd like some+食物/饮料名词”,通过迈克一家用餐的情景让学生感知其语义及语用情景。
·教学建议
(1)教师让学生观察教材上的三张图片。然后教师通过问答的方式和学生进行对话。示例如下:
T:Who are they?
Ss:They are Mike and his parents.
T:(指着第一张图片)Where are Mike and his mother?
Ss:They are in the kitchen.
T:Yes,you are right.Now it's time for dinner.Mike is hungry.What would he like?And what would his father like?Let's listen to the conversation.
(教师播放对话音频,学生带着问题听)
Ss:Mike would like some soup and bread.And Mike's father would like some fish and vegetables.
(2)教师用课件呈现汤的图片,教读生词soup。教师再以同样的方法教读生词vegetable。(此处只简单教读两个单词,在Let's learn环节再详细讲解)
(3)教师带领学生整体朗读一遍对话,然后教读生词dinner(正餐)并讲解其用法。接着引导学生根据图片及语境猜测句子What's for dinner?的含义。在讲解时,教师要注意提醒学生句子中的dinner可替换为breakfast(早餐)、lunch(午餐)或supper(晚餐)。
(4)教师讲解句型“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—(I'd like)Some...,please”。由于“I'd like some...”在三年级已学,教师可以引导学生根据答语推测问句“What would you like(for+三餐名词)?”的含义。在讲解句型时,教师还需提醒学生注意以下四点:①句中的主语you可替换为其他人称;②答语中的I'd是I would的缩写;③答语中的please是为了表示委婉的语气,可以省略;④“What would you like?”与“What do you like?”的用法区别。讲解完毕后,教师随机与数名学生进行问答练习,操练句型。示例如下:

S1:I'd like some bread,please.
T:What would you like?
S2:I'd like some fish and rice,please.
T:What would you like?
S3:Some bread and milk.

(5)教师让学生观察右下方的图片,推测Dinner's ready!的含义。随后教师教读生词ready(准备好),并讲解句子。
(6)教师整体播放两遍对话音频,学生跟读,教师让学生尽量模仿音频中的语音语调。
(7)将学生分为三人一组,分角色朗读对话。教师随机邀请几组学生进行表演。对于表现较好的小组予以表扬;对于表现欠佳的小组予以鼓励,并指出他们的不足之处。
2.Let's survey
·教材意图
此环节通过调查身边的人的用餐意愿,操练核心句型“—What would you like(for+三餐名词)?—(I'd like)Some...,please”。
·教学建议
(1)让学生两人一组,朗读陈洁与迈克的对话。
(2)将学生分为四人一组,用句型“What would you like?”调查组员们的用餐意愿,然后补全教材上的调查表。调查完成后,小组推选一人汇报该组的调查结果。示例如下:

Step 3:Practice
活动——“滚雪球”。
将学生每一纵列分为一组,教师用“What would you like?”向第一名学生提问。第一名学生用“I'd like some...”作答。接着第一名学生继续询问下一位学生,下一位学生先回答出前一位的答案,再加上自己的回答,以此类推。最后,哪个小组的句子最长则获胜。示例如下:
