Japan
says
it
will
start
releasing
radioactive(放射性的)
water
from
the
destroyed
Fukushima
nuclear
center
into
the
sea
beginning
in
two
years.
The
polluted
water
is
to
be
treated
before
it
is
released
into
the
Pacific
Ocean.
The
government
announced
the
plan
Tuesday
and
said
it
had
been
approved
by
cabinet
ministers.
The
decision
had
long
been
expected,
but
faced
delays
linked
to
safety
concerns
and
public
opposition.
Japan
has
said
the
water
release
is
necessary
to
move
forward
with
cleanup
efforts
at
the
Fukushima
nuclear
center.
Three
reactors(反应堆)
there
suffered
meltdowns
after
the
2011
earthquake
and
huge
ocean
wave
destroyed
the
plant5s
cooling
systems.
The
disaster
forced
160,000
people
to
flee
polluted
areas
around
the
plant.
Tokyo
Electric
Power
Company,
or
TEPCO,
operates
the
nuclear
center.
It
is
carrying
out
the
cleanup.
TEPCO
said
Fukushima
will
run
out
of
all
its
storage
space
for
radioactive
water
by
late
2022.
Japanese
Prime
Minister
Yoshihide
Suga
said
the
government
had
decided
the
ocean
release
was
the
most
realistic
way
to
solve
the
water
storage
problem.
Other
methods
considered
included
injecting
the
water
into
the
ground
or
converting
it
to
steam
or
hydrogen
and
then
releasing
it
into
the
atmosphere.
The
government
describes
the
water
to
be
released
as
“treated”
and
not
“radioactive”.
But
experts
say
that
100
percent
of
radioactive
materials
cannot
be
removed.
Government
officials
say
tritium(氚)
is
the
only
substance
that
cannot
be
removed
from
the
water.
They
say
tritium
is
not
considered
harmful
in
small
amounts.
The
officials
say
all
other
radioactive
materials
in
the
water
can
be
reduced
to
releasable
levels.
The
exact
amount
of
radioactive
material
that
would
remain
in
the
water
is
not
known.
Some
scientists
say
the
long-term
effects
on
ocean
life
from
large
amounts
of
such
treated
water
also
remains
unknown.
Fishermen
and
many
people
living
in
the
area
strongly
oppose
the
plan.
They
have
said
releasing
the
water
into
the
ocean
could
cause
widespread
damage
to
Fukushima5s
fishing
and
agriculture
industries.
24.
What
is
the
reason
for
Japan's
water
release?
A.
Previous
disasters
damaged
its
storage
space.
B.
Too
much
nuclear
energy
is
needed.
C.
The
storage
space
for
radioactive
water
won't
be
enough.
D.
TEPCO
didn't
deal
with
it
properly.
25.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
passage?
A.
The
ocean
release
was
the
only
way
to
solve
the
water
storage
problem.
B.
Only
the
fishing
and
agriculture
industries
will
be
affected.
C.
Tritium
won't
do
harm
to
humans
if
taken
in
in
small
amounts.
D.
It’s
possible
that
the
radioactive
water
is
still
harmful
after
being
treated.
26.
What
is
the
main
idea
of
the
text?
A.
Japan5s
plan
to
release
radioactive
water
faces
delays.
B.

27.
What
is
the

to
the
water
release?
A.
Neutral.
B.
Supportive.
C.
Opposed.
D.

When
the
COVID-19
hit
and
supermarket
shelves
were
empty,
Chris
Hall
and
Stefanny
Lowey
decided
they
no
longer
wanted
to
rely
on
others
for
food.
The
couple,
who
live
on
Pender
Island
in
British
Columbia,
Canada,
decided
to
start
a
year-long
challenge
where
they
wouldn't
buy
a
single
thing
to
eat.
Instead
they
would
grow,
raise
or
catch
everything—right
down
to
sugar,
salt
and
flour.
Now,
five
months
in,
they
say
the
challenge
has
changed
their
lives.
Chris,
38,
said,
“It
has
always
been
something
that
we
have
wanted
to
do.
We
have
had
a
garden
and
grown
vegetables
for
a
long
time
already.
When
the
COVID-19
hit,
it
gave
us
that
extra
push
that
we
needed
to
do
it.
We
were
both
out
of
work
when
we
started,
and
with
the
reality
check
of
grocery
stores
running
out
of
items,
it
gave
us
even
more
motivation
to
see
if
we
could
look
after
ourselves.”
The
pair
spent
the
months
before
building
a
house
for
chickens,
ducks
and
turkey
as
well
as
studying
as
much
as
possible
to
figure
out
where
they
would
get
all
the
things
they
needed.
Chris
adds,
“We
had
to
learn
so
many
new
things
like
how
to
grow
mushrooms,
process
our
Stevia
plants,
and
harvest
salt
from
the
ocean.
We
spent
a
lot
of
time
reading
and
studying
online
to
figure
out
all
the
things
we
were
going
to
need
to
do.”
Now
after
five
months,
they
both
feel
ifs
been
going
well
but
Chris
admits
the
first
few
weeks
were
difficult.
“The
first
three
weeks
were
very
challenging
as
our
bodies
adjusted
to
cutting
out
coffee,
wine
and
sugar
all
on
the
same
day,”
he
says.
“After
three
weeks
our
energy
levels
balanced
out
and
our
wishes
reduced
and
now
we
feel
great.”
Now
February
has
ended.
As
they
come
through
winter,
they
feel
positive
about
continuing
with
this
way
of
living,
with
their
challenge
officially
ending
in
August.
28.

the
pair
decide
to
produce
foods
on
their
own?
A.
They
were
isolated
by
Pender
Island.
B.

their
health.
D.
They
could
hardly
buy
them
in
shops.
29.
Which
words
can
be
used
to
describe
the
couple?
A.
Rich
and
generous.
B.
Helpful
and
positive.
C.
Optimistic
and
self-dependent.
D.
Motivated
and
brave.
30.
What
can
we
learn
from
the
last
paragraph?

challenge
may
last
about
eleven
months
in
total.
B.
They
were
discouraged
by
the
difficulty
at
first.
C.
They
had
difficulty
because
they
wanted
more.
D.
They
couldn't
adjust
their
bodies
to
the
hard
work
after
three
weeks.
31.
In
which
column
may
you
read
such
a
passage?
A.
Sports.
B.
Agriculture.
C.
Lifestyle.
D.
Business.
D
Milk
has
had
a
bad
fame
in
recent
years.
A
rise
in
veganism(纯素食主义)
and
concerns
around
intolerance
to
the
creamy
white
drink
have
seen
an
increase
in
popularity
of
milk
alternatives,
and
multiple
myths
still
surround
the
drink,
including
beliefs
that
it
worsens
the
symptoms
of
a
cold.
But
when
it
comes
to
kids,
cow's
milk
is
a
must-have—and
always
in
its
fattiest
form,
experts
say.
Milk
is
a
good
source
of
calcium,
vitamins
A
and
B12,
and
fat—and
it's
the
fat
that
helps
children
meet
their
energy
requirements,
says
Lucy
Upton,
a
specialist
at
the
Association
of
UK
Dieticians.
“Fat
is
very
important
in
children,”
says
Upton.
“They
have
very
high
energy
requirements.”
The
three
key
energy
sources
for
kids
are
dairy,
protein
and
carbohydrate,
and
kids
need
more
energy
than
adults.
“The
average
two-year-old
needs
80
calories
per
kilogram
of
weight,”
she
says,
adding
adults
need
less
than
half
that
amount.
A
recent
study
also
found
that
kids
who
drank
full-fat
milk
were
less
likely
to
be
obese
than
those
who
drank
the
low-fat
kind.
So
why
keep
them
from
the
good
stuff
when
they
need
much
energy
to
consume?
You
may
not
have
heard
of
toddlers
milk,
but
today
it’s
a
widely
available
product
targeting
children
who
haven’t
been
to
kindergartens,
marketed
as
a
follow-up
drink
to
baby
formula.
Health
and
nutrition
experts
have
long
advised
against
toddlers
milks
because
of
their
added
sugar
and
salt
and
lower
protein
than
ordinary
cow’s
milk.
But
a
study
published
on
Tuesday
found
that
between
2011
and
2020,
toddlers
milk
sales
increased
by
2.6
times,
from
47
to
121
million
ounces,
aided
in
large
part
by
increased
advertising.
“It’s
important
that
we
understand
the
health
effects
of
what
we
do
with
our
children,”
Maguire
said.
“Parents
are
making
these
decisions
and
they
need
evidence.”
32.
Which
statement
may
the
author
agree
with?
A.
Milk
worsens
the
symptoms
of
a
cold.
B.
Full-fat
milk
is
better
for
kids’
growth
than
low-fat
kind.
C.
Adults
need
more
calories
per
kilogram
of
weight
than
kids.
D.
Milk
alternatives
will
replace
milk
completely
soon.
33.
What
is
not
contained
in
milk
according
to
Lucy
Upton?
A.
Vitamins
A
andB12.
B.
Fat.
C.
Calcium.
D.
Carbohydrate.
34.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“toddlers”
in
paragraph
3
probably
mean?
A.
children
aged
12
months
to
three
years
B.
children
aged
three
years
to
six
years
C.
children
aged
six
years
to
12
years
D.
children
aged
12
years
to

years
35.
What
can
we
infer
from
the
last
paragraph?
A.
Toddlers
milks
contain
much
protein.
B.
More
parents
are
buying
toddlers
milks
because
they
are
suitable
for
their
kids.
C.

may
play
a

role
in
people's
making
decisions.
D.
Parents

Angelina
winked
(眨眼)
as
she
placed
a
warm
blanket
in
my
arms.
It
was
a
particularly
41
evening
in
this
little
Italian
mountain
village.
Her
42
was
the
first
knock
on
the
door
of
my
temporary
home
in
Campania,
from
my
closest
43
,
a
housedress-wearing
woman
in
her
80s
with
a
lovable
smile.
But
there
was
one
44
:
Angelina
spoke
little
English
and
my
Italian
was
very
45
.
I
tried
very
hard
to
46
my
Italian,
but
my
long
hours
of
studying
47
produced
less
than
60
seconds
of
results
in
Angelina's
living
room.
In
48
sentences
we
talked
about
the
weather
and
how
I
liked
the
village.
She
also
49
me
photos
of
her
family.
But
she
spoke
too
50
for
me
to
follow.
Although
Angelina
and
I
speak
51
languages,
we
found
ways
to
52
.
One
afternoon
when
she
saw
me
53
laundry
she
shook
her
finger
at
me,
pointed
at
the
sun,
and
put
her
hand
to
her
forehead.
I
was
54
until
the
sun
went
down
and
I
got
wet
clothes
back
into
the
house.
After
that,
every
time
we
hung
laundry,
one
finger
shake
and
I
never
again
got
55
clothes
at
the
end
of
the
day.
When
it
was
time

woke
early
to

train.
The
village
was
57
.
But
Angelina
broke
the
silence,
calling
out
from
her
balcony.
I
couldn’t

every
word,
but
I
got
the
main

参考范文
Dear
John,
I’m
more
than
excited
to
know
that
you're
going
to
visit
my
city
soon.
As
for
the
traffic
here,
now
I'd
like
to
share
something
about
it
with
you.
With
various
means
of
public
transport,
the
traffic
here
is
really
convenient.
Apart
from
the
traditional
public
transport
such
as
buses,
subways
and
taxis,
which
are
always
available,
shared
bikes
and
shared
cars
have
become
more
and
more
popular
recently.
You
can
go
almost
everywhere
you
want
just
by
using
a
smartphone.
However,
like
most
big
cities,
the
rush
hours
can
be
extremely
terrible.
When
you
arrive,
you'd
better
take
a
subway
to
your
hotel,
because
ifs
quite
fast
and
cheap.
But
when
you
get
around
within
the
city,
it
all
depends
on
your
purpose
and
time.
For
example,
shared
bikes
can
be
a
perfect
tool
for
you
to
explore
the
tourist
attractions
like
Wide
and
Narrow
Alley.
Tell
me
when
you
come.
Pm
looking
forward
to
seeing
you!
Best
wishes!

七选五
这是一篇说明文。用钱的时候,人们容易犯的三个错误是:想赚更多的积分、忽视账单、重复欠账。文章对这几个不良习惯进行了纠正并且指出了正确的做法。
36.E
±一句说旅游不便宜,下一句说但是钱不多也是可以去看很棒的地方的,构成转折关系。因此选E。

in
countries
where
help
is
needed
与小标题
make
a
difference
相合,且
There
are
plenty
of
organizations
正好是they指代内容。因此选F。
38.A
由格式可知在AB中选。由下文的
One
way
to
find
teaching
jobs
abroad
is...可知选A。
39.C首先,上文有British
Council正是C项的it指代内容。且C项的language
assistant
programme
也与上文提到的教语言有关。
40.G上文提到了滑雪,G项有原词复现。且G项与上文也有转折关系。
