《Lesson 41 A Class of the World》教学设计
一.教材分析
本单元围绕地理和语言这一话题展开教学。通过本单元学习,学生能够学会介绍自己所去过的地方,学会表示肢体语言的方法,学习现在完成时和被动语态的用法。教师在完成本单元学习任务的同时,还应努力培养学生自我表达能力,发挥他们的想象力、创造力、张扬个性。本课是本单元的第5节课,主要涉及介绍四个不同国家的特色,从人文地理知识出发,学生比较感兴趣,为教学提供很好的支持。
二.学情分析
八年级学生由于英语课程难度的增加,部分学生学习兴趣有所降低,在英语课上出现明显的两极分化现象。为了提高教学效率,增加学生兴趣,教师就应该采用各种手段吸引他们,使他们有兴趣上你的课。因此,在教学中,我利用多媒体课件来吸引学生的注意力,借助歌曲激发他们的学习兴趣,运用大量图片来激活课堂,充分发挥小组合作的作用,让每个学生都参与其中,从而来提高课堂质量,达到理想的效果。
三.设计理念
中学英语学习主要从学生的学习兴趣出发,提倡自主学习、合作学习的方式,发展学生语言上综合运用的能力。因此,本节课,我利用多媒体课件的形式,通过在听、说、读、写等各个方面设置不同的活动,小组合作探究,引导学生在学习了解几个不同国家特色的基础上,介绍展示自己的家乡。

六.教学过程
1.教学准备
学生:提前预习好本课有关单词短语,能正确读出单词并指导意思
教师:设计并制作好本节课的教学课件,辅导学生预习单词短语。
2.设计思路
通过让学生欣赏歌曲引入世界各地这个话题,再通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示一些国家的特点;让学生通过小组交流的方式探讨并介绍自己的家乡。
3.教学活动
1. Lead in
Enjoy a song about travelling in different countries,then ask students to answer the question: How many places in the song? What are they? Tell students: there are so many countries around the world. In the lesson, we can know about four different countries.
(设计思路:通过播放歌曲《带你去旅行》,激发学生学习兴趣,为下面教学做好铺垫)
2. New words and phrases
Show the pictures about different places in the lesson, let students guess the words and lead to read one by one; give them many important phrases in Chinese, ask students to find them in the passage and remember.
(设计思路:通过大量图片,直观的向学生引入生词,让学生联想记忆;短语部分采用看汉语找英语的方式,不仅让学生学会了如何表述,也为接下来的听力练习扫清障碍。)
3. Listen and answer
Listen to the passage and tick the correct answers.

4. Task-based reading
Read the passage carefully and do the following tasks.
